People become addicated to gambling for one simple reason: ignorance
People are ignarant as to how gambling works.
See, every bet has a mathematical outcome. You can't win or lose money any different than the math states that you will. Whatever it says, that is the truth. Unfortunately (no pun intended), some people con't realise this and trul belive gambling is pure luck and they have a chance to win. How do they think a casino makes money if the odds are 50/50?! Obviously the house always wins.

Because when you win in gambling game you are satisfy you feel good and you are happy, after that your feelings is to play again beacause gambling give's short happiness to every player. When you are lose your mind command you to revenge so this is why gambling is so addicted.Winning in gambling is indeed a satisfaction, especially if we are winning big in gambling. We can't help but to be an addict in gambling if the case is that we are always winning, but too much loses could also lead to addiction because of the desire of winning back the money that have been lost. So if you can't control yourself in the first place, then don't gambling.
Gambling addiction is somehow a way of life by others. Its part of their daily routine. They tend to make it as their livelihood or leisure. I am not against it. Its their right. However, if it will compromise other's lives then that's the problem. They must be responsible of doing so and they must know the consequences and possibilities either positive or negative that may affect or effect.
So it really depends on your background and your upbringing I guess. Because most people who have been addicted has one time or another has crossed with a gambling addict as well, which is usually in his inner circles of families and friends.
But I know that we all have choices, we can either stay away from it, or be addicted. That's why for others growing it, they find it as a way of life because they can hear and see all around him at a young age gambling.
I myself was in that situation, my father is addicted to gambling and as far as I can remember. And when I grow up, we both became addicted and betting together. But that was long time ago, he already passed away like 10 years ago, I was able to control and mend my ways now.
There are many ways a decisive gambler that really wants to change and get away his/her addiction. If that gambler know very well that he/she can't control the addiction, that gambler can always seek professional help. The key is he/she must have that decisive and fixed will to change.
And how many will do that? I know a few of my friends who got ruined financially from gambling. Actually their family members tried to get them professional help in the form of counselling. But it was of no use, as these people refused to attend the counselling sessions.
We should keep an eye on our loved ones and should stop them from getting involved in this evil game since it is highly addictive.

when they first win in a gamble they think that it's because of a luck. this keeps them gambling and motivates them to try their luck

Human nature are supposed to be foolish anyway so there is no doubt that this happen. Alot of people do win when they try to get back what they lose . Im not convincing people to do it but atleast things happen to be good for them. Well I do know some friend that actually made quite alot when they they lose and tried back again

There are many ways a decisive gambler that really wants to change and get away his/her addiction. If that gambler know very well that he/she can't control the addiction, that gambler can always seek professional help. The key is he/she must have that decisive and fixed will to change.

I don't think there will be plenty that will do that, some are shy to expose that they are experiencing a gambling related problem and they don't want others to know that they are totally addicted to gambling. But there are some gamblers that successfully gave and seek help from the professionals but on these type of matter the most help that you can get is through your family.
Exactly, even the pride alone to seek help from others will likely put them off or hinder them from telling anyone about their addiction. It's a terrible state of mind for one to be in and i wish there was a better way apart from seeking help and counselling from professionals because it doesn't look effective to me also.
It's sad and terrible but that's existing and there are gamblers who really are struggling with that situation. They don't want to tell it and expose it to others but they are seeking for help so how they can help if they are not going to admit that they are one of the problem to have that attitude and became addicted. Nothing wrong in gambling but when its too much and you can no longer control it, that's the problem.
