In regards to the above topic, I agree 100% with the op. Indeed gambling is a big minus to your finance it's worse than any other form of loss in our finances because, gambling addiction is like a virus in our financial life, it will keep eating your money until there is no immune part left. That is, you will become broke, I've seen lots of person who gambling addiction has turned the table of their lives and today they not nothing to be compared with their past life. Some even go as far as becoming beggars while some are know convicts today. Sometimes I wonder, how can this be? How did gamble mange to eat up their minds that they couldn't even think of quitting or reducing their gambling rate? It's kind of weird though how some smart persons mange to fall under the tricks of gamble.
as I always say the game eats you but that's not why it's necessarily an evil, sometimes I think it's a necessary evil, in the sense that in many cases it's natural selection, I know it's bad to say but it's like that, I like betting let's be clear but I would never throw all my finances into something that obviously won't make me rich, we can't even talk about an investment because it certainly isn't, but anyone who decides to ruin themselves does so completely without taking care of themselves as they would. with drugs, so the important thing is to know how to regulate yourself
Well well, we definitely can not equate gambling or compare it to investing, because it's not and will never be, gambling is a complete different thing altogether, but on the other hand, I also think it's wrong to say that gambling will never make one rich, of course I can count more than 10 to 20 persons gambling has made rich in my locality, this is minus the one I see and read their stories online, even on this forum, we have several users who have won life changing amount of money from gambling.
So, in essence, gambling does make people rich, but the only thing I can say in this regard is that, there is no certainty or assurance of this happening even if you spend billions of dollars gambling every day (and of course I know that for someone to spend billions of dollars, that person should be already rich) 😂, but then, what I am trying to establish is that, making good money from gambling depends on how lucky a gambler is.
So, gambling in real sense can make a person rich, but there are no certainty or guarantee of this happening with out the gambler being extremely lucky.
