If gambling can be enjoyed then financial losses may not have a major impact. But when gambling turns into an addiction, a gambler will face a different situation as well as financial losses. The gambler will continue to gamble even after losing his money, which will affect the person to a greater extent than the loss of the money. Any addiction can affect people negatively. There will be no mistake in saying this in that direction. Addiction is certainly more harmful than financial loss. When a gambler loses financially, it can be recovered later, but the losses the gambler faces due to addiction cannot be compensated with money.

Any addiction has negative consequences for a person, but we are so organized that we always want more. This is what leads to problems. In my opinion, to learn how to get rid of addictions, you just need to learn to limit your desires. And to do this is actually not so difficult. I got rid of several addictions and right now I am in a struggle with myself and the desire to eat sweets, because of which my daily norm of energy value is significantly exceeded. A person is capable of a lot of things, if only the desire.

I am sure that if I had a problem with gambling, I would be able to overcome this addiction.

Therefore I think it is quite right to say that gambling is a choice, you will really be able to achieve a balance in terms of choosing when you don't focus too much on the winning opportunities that are there, because most gamblers who end up addicted always start by ignoring the possibility of risk which means they ignore the bad effects that exist in gambling so that consciously or unconsciously they end up with addicted gamblers, so it is recommended to choose when you are sober because then you will be sure to be able to see all sides rationally.

We should not just pray for having any of the two experience in such a way that it could affect us badly, having financial loss can put one in danger and debt, especially when there's no means to recover from the loss, and most people get into this because of the financial inadequacies they are been through which has also been the reason for them to think of acting to that extent, gambling addiction also will cause one to loose his money, but in this, you already know that you're gambling to have fun and risk either wining or loosing.

Gambling is surely that risky in the first place since you are really that risking your money fin the first place. We do know that the first thing that would be affected is with your finances and on the time that if it gets severe then other things would really be that affected as well and this is something normal.

Gambling is full of risks, both to our financial situation and to the balance of our lives. because if a gambling activity is not managed as well as possible, then this will only have a negative impact which will lead to other negative impacts, or what is better known as the domino effect of a gambling addiction. You are correct, if someone very young becomes addicted to gambling he or she can erase is dreams in life and go the route of gambling thinking that it will bring them everything they needed in this world.

it's like when you smoke in front of your children or relatives, they will think that smoking is not a bad thing because they see that you smoke in front of them and you look cool and very manly. this will inspire these kids to smoke when they are teenagers, because they think that it is cool and there is no problem with it. likewise with gambling, it's best not to show your gambling to your children or relatives, because they are small children and they will see that your gambling is something that can give them money and give them pleasure. and maybe because of that motivation, they will start gambling from a young age and it will interfere with their growth and education because they shouldn't become gamblers from that young age.

I agreed with some of the points mentioned and explained but this particular one caught my attention. I understand that majority of gamblers have anger issue whenever they experience loses. That violence is not only applicable to gamble addicts but to almost all the gamblers. And again, you don't need to lose much before you can be addressed as a gamble addict. In fact, you can be a regular winner and still be addict if you can not control your gamble habit. A gamble addict doesn't necessarily have to be someone who gamble often or lose often but it's all about the negative impact gambling is having on their life.

One cannot cope with this problem alone. A financial problem is where all others begin; if an addicted gambler loses money first, he may start looking for more. It is not uncommon for money to be stolen from relatives and family members. This is truly terrible and this is a strong addiction if it comes to such a thing that a player violates such moral standards. I would have agreed wholly with your opinion before as I once thought along the same lines as you do now.
I thought gambling in front of your kids could deposit in them, the thoughts of gambling someday themselves. But apparently, a good number of young kids aren’t as interested in gambling as I thought. And even if they were somewhat get interested later on, it doesn’t really mean they’re going to be irresponsible about it.

If what we’re doing is legal and we’re being matured, considerate and responsible about our behaviors and actions, there is little to no reason to hide it from your family(kids included). If ever they also get interested, they’re going to be matured and responsible as well having watched you over the years.

I do not think anybody's family will tolerate gambling addiction because of the dangers it comes with, and they will not even in any way trust the person because gambling addicts are also become involved with drugs There Just very few gamblers that you will notice that are not into drugs, and that is why the family members will try as much as possible not to have anything to do with people like that, so self might start stealing, if they continue to gamble and they don't get what they are supposed to get in gambling they will start stealing peoples property.  and to some extent, I don't blame people who see people who are addicts as being irresponsible because the habits they show are those of a person who is responsible.

The problem with addiction is that it will first destroy your finances and then go for your mental health, and if you are finished financially then where will you start from am sure there are people who have lost everything just because of their addiction, and if people like that they serious need help and might even need a therapist for them to recover their sanity and will find it difficult to stop if not helped.

it will really be a big problem staying around family that doesn't encourage gambling because they are definitely going to stereotype such person and will most likely push such person away because they feel such person is not a responsible person and will mess with his finance and by extension their own finance aswell which has in turn affected them,  but then whenever some one is observed to be addicted to something in any form it's usually better if they start in time to get help for such person both professionally or other way so that such a person don't get to the point they will be seen as out of control.

Gamblers or generally people who are involved in one habits or the other that could be addictive, shouldn't wait until they are sent out of their home or they have become a problem to the society before they will be able to seek help because at such point it becomes difficult to help them.
