At least you can limit yourself from excessive addiction to gambling. However, if the boundaries were higher or thicker, wouldn't that be even better?
so that later gambling addiction will be reduced. You can gamble calmly if your playing mentality is strong.

Yes applying some boundaries and also self-control is indeed an approach that is always suggested in gambling, I will never get tired of saying this to anyone especially some of my friends who also gamble, because humans always cannot avoid the name "forgetting" due to emotions that dominate because of something like losing and this idea or suggestion will at least be able to help them to remember that precautions are much more important when you are involved in gambling.

Doing or applying higher or strong and firm limits is definitely better, as you said that this way we will be able to gamble more calmly and avoid the possibility of addiction, but unfortunately it is a fact that only a few people can have this kind of mindset that leads to preventive measures because they are always focused on winning opportunities so it is difficult to limit their gambling activities.

Maybe it's also very important for us to invite our own friends or relatives who are also gamblers. because if we weren't friends who were both gamblers, they would immediately tell us to stop gambling.  Shocked
not to support each other in betting, but rather to remind us that we have exceeded the limits we have previously set. and vice versa, when our friend is betting, we also have to remind him if he has crossed the limit.
So apart from controlling ourselves, and sometimes even though we are very good and still forget, we need someone's help to remind us of that.

I think this is more than important, because after all gambling is an activity that involves risk and on the other hand there is absolutely no certainty for us to be able to win and also this is one of the reasons why we really need to apply some restrictions as a way of prevention, and on the other hand yes of course it is ridiculous if you tell advice like this to someone especially a friend who does not like or even never gambles, this is out of context and how can we advise something like this to those who are not gamblers. Cheesy

Yes because there is nothing wrong with remembering each other and this is something that I think should be done to fellow gamblers because after all this advice leads to something better, and another thing is to try not to gamble alone and it is better to ask one of your friends to accompany your gambling session because then at least there is someone who can remind you when you are being instigated by emotions due to defeat because what usually happens is that you will act out of control when emotions overtake you and this makes you suffer a greater amount of defeat, On the other hand, as I said earlier, humans cannot fully maintain the plans they have made and in addition there are so many temptations in gambling that this is very likely to make you eventually fall into forgetting the limits you have made before.

If it is not managed well, the gambling activities we carry out will become dangerous activities and carry a high risk of financial losses and other losses. When someone is addicted to gambling, it reflects their inability to control themselves and their emotions when gambling, they play chaotically and often act impulsively to the point of making wrong betting decisions which makes them lose even more.

A gambling addict has poor emotional control and mental health, so that when they continuously experience fatigue and run out of capital to continue gambling, they will try to look for other things so that their emotions, disappointment and anger can be vented. And quite a few gambling addicts take it all out on their families, which could lead to acts of domestic violence. And quite a few of them are gambling addicts who turn to criminal acts, such as robbing money and other actions that can harm many people. and they do this in order to get some money so they can satisfy their lust for gambling and take revenge for the losses they suffered previously.

that for me i believe is the very reason why it is not good to live with a gambling addict. because it is the immediate family who will suffer the consequences of what the gambler is acting owed to his addiction. if it is only the gambler, that's fine. but if he has small kids relying on him, that's when a lot of troubles will come in.

Whether you are married or not, gambling addiction is still bad and has tremendous negative impacts, which can destroy a person's life and future. And don't think that if you are not married and have children, you don't have more responsibilities. Both those who are married and those who are not, both have the same responsibilities, only the proportions are different. Before marriage, he will be responsible for himself and his future. Meanwhile, someone who is married has responsibilities not only to themselves but also to their family and children who are also related to the welfare of their family.

Therefore, so that the gambling we do does not become a bomberang on ourselves and our families who could become victims. So we should be able to protect ourselves from the negative impacts of gambling. That is, by gambling responsibly, viewing gambling as a form of entertainment, only gambling after your needs have been met and after completing tasks and work. So that the gambling we do does not become an inhibiting factor in our life balance and productivity.

When we as gamblers can control ourselves, then nothing will happen to us, financially or in our social life.
we must know the time to gamble. we have to know the allocation that we can bet on. we must know when we continue or leave the game.
those who become very bad because of gambling are obviously because they are obsessed with winning. they lose control and forget all boundaries.
The most dangerous thing is that you are obsessed with winning and when you chase it you end up spending a lot of money. We can't blame it because everyone's emotional level is different and if a gambler finds it difficult to suppress it then he will only lose more money. There is a need to anticipate this with the right allocation of funds and I agree with you. There is no need to rush when gambling and if it gets too deep it will be difficult to change.

Gambling addiction has many negative impacts on family, social and personal life. The changes in behavior shown by gambling addicts are very clear, they prefer to be angry and easily carried away by emotions and commit other violence and it is not uncommon for them to commit domestic violence. Whether violence against their wives or children as a result of their gambling. They suffer more and more losses, there are no addicts gambling that can recover their losses, the more they chase losses, the more they will face bankruptcy, economic damage and not being able to manage their money well due to their addiction.

The points you mentioned above are true points experienced by gambling addicts, when they are married then they are role models for their children. If their parents are gambling addicts then a child grows up following in his father's wrong footsteps and the same goes for his health because Gambling addiction can slowly damage a person's mental state and when they are no longer able to bear the burden, gambling addicts can usually do things out of control, such as committing suicide, because that is the only way their problem can be resolved.

Not only in every family but also in other religious beliefs, they think gambling is actually bad. Gambling is not only bad for gamblers who gamble in casinos, whether online or offline, in the field of gambling business.

But there are other gamblers who do not become addicts because they are able to manage themselves correctly in these situations, just as they do not allow themselves to become addicted or get addicted to their personalities as gamblers.
Self control and moderation would really be always the key on which we do know that this isnt something that not everyone could be able to do so and this is why we do see different conditions on which a certain individual do able to have basing into their actions towards gambling on which some of them have been able to control themselves but most of them had wrecked out their lives because of it.
There's no really that have an issue on playing gambling on which as long you do make yourself that having moderation when it comes to spending and on the time you are really that dealing on with
then it should be just fine. Further negative impacts would really be just that coming out on the time that you would really be making yourself addicted but if its not then
you are just still on safe line.

It all depends on the degree of gambling addiction. When it is too great, there is almost no chance of final winnings, as the player will continue betting regardless of the size of the winnings as long as he remains conscious. This is why psychological treatment is necessary for overly addicted gamblers.

Gambling addiction does more harm than mere financial loss
Even though you say that, as far as I know, the most serious risks and dangers for those who are addicted to online gambling, one of the most dangerous risks is financial loss, apart from health or violence as you mentioned, for me the risk of financial loss such as property, spending large amounts of money is more terrifying.

Apart from that, financial losses in gambling Stress, disturbing sleep, fatigue, risk of heart disease, family risk, causing conflict which can lead to divorce, risk of crime which has an impact in terms of risk of financial loss, my understanding is more.

But all these factors cannot be separated from gambling addiction, in essence the effects of addiction cause greater financial losses, both have a high level of dangerous risk.
Gambling addiction is indeed a disease that cannot be separated from gambling, that's why there must be limits when playing gambling so that you don't get addicted to gambling, financial losses and losses from being an addict are both connected and related, so one of the most important things to highlight is gambling addiction compared to financial losses. This is because people who are addicted to gambling not only lose financially, they can even lose time and other things, including losing their family, which is also one of the things that is most often encountered.

There are many things that make gambling addiction very detrimental, therefore, always limit your budget when gambling so as not to exceed the limit when gambling, this is often emphasized to everyone that never get addicted to gambling. If you want to gamble, make sure you gamble with money that is ready. To be eliminated, the most important thing is to have a healthier mindset, for example considering gambling as entertainment, nothing more than that, sometimes people are addicted to gambling because they are too obsessed with winning and never enjoy the gambling game itself. Another thing that I think is detrimental is that gamblers don't really enjoy their gambling, so they are more easily addicted to gambling because they aim to increase their finances but instead it ends up harming their finances.  Cheesy
Here we are preaching self-control and boundaries alongside gambling. Gambling isn't a local game. It's a beast that eats hopes and dreams without regard to your finances. Think you're in charge? The first indicator you're not. Losing is the game, not just part of it. Remember the house always wins? You think you can beat the odds. Math—not hope—is the issue. You lose more as you play. That's reality, not pessimism

If you must gamble, set limits.  Set a loss limit (because you will lose) and stick to it. No exceptions. You leave when that limit is reached. No second chances, "just one more game." That's how you maintain control in a takeover system

The real danger zone is when gambling turns into an obsession, like that song you just can't get out of your head. It's not just about the money; it's the constant urge to gamble, even when it hurts your brain and relationships.

Some people can bounce back from a financial loss without getting hooked. They learn their lesson, dust themselves off, and move on. But for others, it can trigger that addictive spiral. It's like falling down a rabbit hole, and suddenly you're betting the rent money on a triple seven.

The key is knowing your limits and staying in control. Think of it like setting a timer on your phone – once it goes off, put the cards down and go grab a pizza.

If you feel like gambling is taking over your life, don't be afraid to ask for help. There are awesome people out there who can support you on your journey to ditch the addiction and reclaim your sanity. Remember, you're not alone in this!

You're right, when we are looking for a way to do things better I believe that something can always be done when it comes to addiction, addiction is one of the things that players go through when they lose control in every sense, for that reason. reason when we start to review things that can happen in a casino everything is about self-control, and self-control is something that is very difficult to obtain when people are playing I think that all the self-control starts from the first moment that we take the casino or before entering the casino and it is by registering a deposit, that is when our control begins, and it is with the money that we are willing to lose, if we establish that, it is much easier to do those things, with Our money is already ready, we do a lot, because if we allocate a budget we must respect only that budget, willing to spend and if it goes away, it is lost not to put more.

This is the first step to avoid an addiction, if we do this we do not intend to avoid many things, now once this is done, we do want to because we do not have any type of control when we play, because obviously we can do things well if not, Well, when we are playing, if we want to control our game with non-emcoins or something, it is a question of ourselves, the way we play, but the fact and trick of everything is in the beginning with money, for me everything starts with money, for Therefore we must take care of it, there is no other option, if we do not take care of it things will hardly turn out well, that is why I insist so much on it, we always do the best possible so that we avoid many problems, in this case when the addiction becomes It is caused by not taking preventive measures, it is true that not only are you lost, but many things are lost, friendships, relationships, families and that is what you should think about not losing.

That's impossible. First and foremost, if someone is approaching an addicted gambler to talk to him about his current condition, experience, and how often he goes gambling. They are not going to the extent of engaging in a discussion about participating in gambling activities with the addicted gambler. Instead, they focus on resolving the issue and helping the individual overcome their addiction. It is unlikely that someone willing to help would become addicted to gambling simply by approaching the addicted gambler unless that person has ulterior motives.
Why is it impossible? A person who approaches a gambling addict but cannot control himself will find something that the gambling addict shows that will make him curious to try it. This self-control can prevent him from being tempted to try it so that he can stick to his goal of getting gambling addicts to cure their gambling addiction. Someone who approaches a gambler will use methods that might work well instead of directly asking the addict about his current condition. That will make the addict offended and feel that the person is not sincere. Someone who wants to approach the addict will know how he can enter and get close to the addict without rejection. This requires finding the right ways from the people who approach the addict so that they can help the gambling addict cure his gambling addiction.

Addiction is too much which means that the impact on our personal is not healthy anymore and it directly hits our financial stability. Therefore, it was necessary to take action before our gambling habits turned into something that we didn't want to happen...

It is very important to set limitations, especially the time we spend on gambling as this is a common cause of addiction. Self-control is not impossible if we really want to help and think about the future of ourselves because addiction doesn't just ruin our finances but our health as well.

In a situation where there's no strong mentality to tackle the gambling addiction I think it's most safe to quit than trying to still gamble in a way we think and feel is safer because that will only make us triggered more and gradually getting in deeper than we can imagine while you still think you are maintain sanity.

Limiting yourself isn't enough especially if you want to fight against addiction but rather quitting even if it's temporary, you can use the period and time been to make sure you get a proper strategy and control over your mind and self so that you strictly stick to responsible gambling and any thing outside your strategy will be very much avoided such that you don't gamble until the it conforms with your strategy and budget, once your budget is exceeded it's very advicable you exit till another day.

So, if you simply approach someone who is addicted to gambling, there's a possibility for you to also do gambling? I don't believe that merely approaching an addicted gambler will put you in the same situation as them. It's more about how a person takes action and communicates with the gambler to make them understand their current situation. This is typically done by people who are trusted by the gambler.
This can happen if the person who approaches a gambling addict offers him or her the experience of gambling while the person who approaches the gambling addict does not have good self-control. If someone sees what a gambler does and can win from a gambling game, they will be curious and want to know what it's like to gamble. He will probably try it when he is home and visits the casino because he will remember the name of the casino site.

But if someone wants to help a gambling addict, they really need to communicate with the gambling addict so that they can understand the situation and can immediately help the gambling addict. But if gambling addicts don't want to admit the fact that they are addicted to gambling, it will be difficult for those who want to approach the gambling addict because the gambling addict will refuse to get treatment for their gambling addiction.

If the gambler is currently at the stages of those situations mentioned by OP, they are now at a critical level.

At this stage, a gambler can't think of a good thing anymore as their mind is now corrupted.

They need immediate help as they can't help themselves anymore. If found a person like that in your community, don't hesitate to give their family advice to now seek help from any gambling-related rehabilitation centers. It's ASAP before anything much worse happens.

Those losses can lead to the emotional trauma that a gambler faces during addiction. Because while addicted and participating in gambling activity the player will have to be losing money so often, which means that the gambler will always worry about his money. Addiction doesn't mean the gambler forgets; he'll be notified of his consistence losses. Which then changes the thoughts of the gambler and affect his behavior. That he starts acting strange to people around him. The duty of such people as you said, is to take good care of the gambler. Since the help they need is companionship. Communicating with other people can help a gambler to circle back to his original mental condition. However, since gambling is a tricky game, risky players need to stay careful and calculative towards their gambling habit.

I agree with your topic. The worst thing about the behavior of an addicted person is that not only he suffers (financial problems, social and health problems) but also his loved ones and those around him, including friends, family, children, spouses, if any.
But there is another negative aspect associated with gambling. When a person wins a large sum one evening by making a successful bet, then it will become increasingly difficult to earn money by simple labor. After all, it takes a lot of effort, but the financial reward is much less
The people who are around the addict will not suffer anything,
They even have the responsibility to remind and guide the addict to stay away from what is too much.

Gambling addicts will only generate negative responses from many people and this will also be their mental trigger will not be stable.
Especially if you don't have money to gamble, this will have an impact on the actions to be taken.

I don't hate gambling or anything, I also like to play slots, betting etc, but it all has its limits so it doesn't make me addicted.

When one is already comfortable with gambling and earning money is very easy (at first), other ordinary jobs will not be suitable.
But in my opinion, as much as possible, real work or main work is always a priority over gambling.

Gambling addiction has been known to be associated with serious funds loss, bankruptcy, unsettled loan involvements, properties auctioning and other irritable financial behaviors that depicts frustration and desperations from the victims.
A little more observation shows clearly other effects of such addiction to just not the addict alone, but those around them, be it friends, family or neighbors. Here are a few of them:

Negative impression on children/ dependents: His addiction can corrupt the good intentions of the younger generation looking up to him for inspiration, they may grow up to see gambling as a way of life and follow the wrong footprints.

Decrease in overall productivity of individual: Addiction reduces the value that you add to wherever you are engaged career wise as you are mostly distracted with gambling thereby reducing your commitment and dedication to your duties, this might significantly reduce the overall company productivity and lead to job loss.

health Challenges: A gambling addict is always under pressure and tension and as such is prone to health challenges like high blood pressure, depression, and on the part of his people, they might be suffering from the psychological implications of his lifestyle which includes social stigma.

violence : most gambling addicts are prone to violent behaviors owing to anger issues from much losses and this might greatly affect his relationship with his immediate family and people around him who might start seeing him as a wild animal.

your contributions are very much welcome as we learn together the many demerits of gambling addiction to inform both those currently addicted and intending addicts of the dangers of that irrational lifestyle.

Addiction is like a resistance disease that take more time to be handle if possible, for a gambler to be termed addicted gambler it take great discipline to mange this kind of situation. A chronic addicted gambler is ready for any situation that may arise, the face people with harshness, they don't want to lose, is not as if they don't know that losing is inevitable but the want to be wining always, this is why they are addicted in the first place, an addicted gambler doesn't believe in missing chances, they believe that any day they don't place bet, they gave missed a great chance of winning.
Gamblers should know that once you become addicted, you will now be an object of mockery and you family will be seen as irresponsible household, so in other to avoid this, you should gamble responsibly.
There are different levels of being addicted to things and we don't have to see it from the general mindset. The resistance can be seen and that should not make us to over relax on what is not going to aid us to get ourselves free. Those that have less severe gambling addiction can still be able to work on it and get free from the frequent urge to gamble more with larger risk. Whatever risk we are taking as gamblers, it is good we know what we are doing to sustain our funds from getting bankruptcy. Things are supposed to be in progressive mode so we don't get in and lose all our funds.
