There are some helplines to call, depression combined with gambling addiction is already a serious case. Some people who are like this on the news end up taking their lives because of debts and gambling.

Every gambler here knows the feeling when they chase their loss and keep wagering in haste because they wanna win back. Some of them only stopped when their money was all gone. When it's all gone, that's when depression hits harder.

How can one control the uncontrollable urge to keep gambling despite the toll it takes on once life.
Focus on other interests or hobbies that excite you more than gambling. It is almost impossible to resist gambling addiction and the desire to win back what you have lost, and even more so, to control the desire to gamble.

It's getting worse every day. I'm extremely depressed I have thoughts of unaliving myself more often, some times I feel the betting companies manipulate people spiritually to get them addicted where be playing without plans and strategy. Once a bet place get cut, there is this uncomfortable urge to quickly book another one with the plans of recovering the first money lost but it will end up cutting again.
Addiction to gambling plays into the hands of bookmakers, allowing them to make money on gamblers and their goal is, after all, your money, and not the desire to deprive you of plans and strategies.

If you feel that “something is going wrong” in your life and the reason is gambling, then quit it.

Ask yourself- why do you continue to gamble despite all the negativity surrounding it? What do you hope to achieve by gambling? Is this a financial problem that lets you hope of winning the jackpot; or is this an entertainment issue where gambling gives you that dopamine effect?

After asking yourself those questions, that is when you will start to re-evaluate your situation which can ultimately affect your decision making skills. Always remember, acknowledge that you suffer and then start from there. Start slow but with consistent pacing- replace slowly your gambling habits with different habits as this will create another discipline which is outside gambling.

OP, all hope is not lost- many people have stood on the very same platform you are facing and most of them had gotten out from this situation. Trust yourself and never lose that goal of recovering.

Controlling the impulse to keep gambling might be quite difficult, but you must reflect on yourself and acknowledge that you need to change if you want to gradually stop. Since you admitted that there were moments when you wished to end your own life, doesn't that already have a negative effect on it? Why don't you just take some time off, resist the urge to gamble, even for a single day, and establish a budget before you even consider playing, so that you can resist the urge to go over it?

I think it would be really beneficial if you talked about this problem or the struggles that you have been going through with someone you feel comfortable with in real life. You could also share it with family members you trust so they can offer you support and encouragement. Please realize, OP, that gambling is not a way to make ends meet. Don't chase losses, since that's what's making you miserable right now.

        -   As gamblers, what we do within the gambling industry always depends on the decision we make. Whether the result will be good or bad, it always depends on our minds when we gamble. So, it means that when we become greedy when playing while gambling, let's expect that the result will be bad in the end.

But if what we did is good, for sure, in the end it will also be good before we finish playing gambling here because we gambled correctly because we applied the habits that a gambler should have.

Gambling has become too deep into you that you do not know what to do and how to stop doing it, you have what we can call the worst-case scenario in gambling and the only way is rehabilitation, all advice will not work even abstaining will not, by rehabilitation is being confined and get doctors help in curing the strong urge to gamble.
It will cost you money but the amount is nothing to what you're going to lose more if you cannot stop yourself from gambling so you better do what you have to do and not delay it because depression will grow each day you delay it so save yourself.

If you continue to be addicted emotionally then when the money is gone while you still want to gamble then from every defeat will blame the casino, maybe your mind continues to imagine the casino that thinks it is manipulation so that you continue to play, even though it is only your hallucination from the downturn because the addiction has exceeded the limit.

Just do other work that makes you forget about gambling, what is a more useful occupation to do that because indeed if you force gambling due to addiction then this will be difficult without existing rehabilitation.

Try with a little money, or not playing gambling at all I think if it has an effect then slowly apply what you can to forget it.

First of all, we must admit that if there are debts, then it will not work to pay them off with gambling winnings. Debts should be paid only with honest work, in no case does he hope for luck: and work will restore respect for you in the eyes of your relatives. You need to try to remove programs and applications related to gambling so that they do not catch your eye. Of course, I also recommend watching video interviews with players and psychologists.
I add again that it is necessary to realize really - really if you are experiencing a big defeat by gambling. after that start to leave gambling and think more positively and have to return to the right path in earning money. of course by working in real life. and intend to pay debts from your losses and mistakes from gambling. it's hard but it's better than just regretting and not doing anything.

OP, I think that you have taking gambling as a means of making profit and not for fun, and this is why even when you are losing, you keep on placing your bet on a new game because you are allowing your emotions to control you, which is making you to chase your losses. I see that you have been eaten up with addiction, and it has led you to great loss.

It is better that you quit gambling for maybe two years or more, this will enable you to overcome the gambling spirit in you that is pushing you to gamble even when you are running at loss. If you want to come back to gambling, then you must discipline yourself, and know how to control your emotion, by gambling with only the amount that you can afford to lose. Gamble for fun and not for profit.

Talk to somebody who is mature, a grown up who you trust other than your friend about this. If you believe in God and are a church goer, tell your religious leader, if you are Muslim, talk to your Iman about it. And any other religious leader about it. Do not be ashamed of your addiction because if you hide it, you will suffer in silence until it eats you up.

If you are married, hand over your finances to your spouse. Tell her or him not to give you money for anything without thorough scrutiny or a very valid reason. If you live with your parents, do the same thing. If you live alone, get a friend or your sibling to live with you or move in with your parents if they agree to after telling them your struggles. For entirely move to a new location that will not serve as a trigger.

Give up your electronic devices that have the ability to connect to the internet. For at least three months and then seek help.

No one asked or forced anyone to become addicted to gambling rather gamblers themselves became addicted to gambling. The terms and conditions of gambling and casino sites state that investing in these casino and gambling sites is risky and no one under the age of 18 can participate. Those of us who become addicted to gambling cannot in any way blame the gambling and casino companies because we become addicted to gambling entirely of our own free will and at our own risk. However, if after becoming addicted to gambling, we do not have the ability to control ourselves from gambling, then we have no justification to blame anyone.

Just go to a professional psychiatrist because your problem is already at a fairly serious stage and if it is not treated, you might do something stupid with your life. So before it's too late, it's better for you to seek help from others. Or if you don't have money, you should be able to ask your family for help and there will definitely be a solution to the problem. Don't let this problem drag on because you could potentially become an extreme addict and that will destroy your life. So as long as there is still a chance to fix it, you should treat it as soon as possible.

I agree, I think this is not the right way and the forum is not the one that can help you, it would be better to consult with medical professionals especially if you are already in the serious stage of gambling disorder, it is difficult to self diagnose so it would be better to get checked up while it's not too late.
let's not be shy to ask for help especially if it's really necessary because our money can be returned but our own physical and mental health is difficult to fix once it's damaged.

First, no one forces you to gamble, because they only provide, meaning that the system runs 24 hours as long as you are strong in gambling, and the provider only fills the business gap to provide, of course it is not a bad idea if you use more time to work, then again intense time doing anything will become a burden and bored especially every day and often presiction fails with capital that is not ready to lose. Gambling is very bad for a person's mentality if it is not concerned with rest and avoiding his real life. Even if there is a chance to win and last longer, it is better to enjoy some of the gambling profits for a vacation or a real business, not the other way around which will make you miserable, gambling also manages important finances, because gambling is like a virtual example, when you win it feels like hard work that becomes real but if you lose it is like a dream that doesn't feel Cheesy

He must realize that he has an uncontrollable urge to continue gambling so that he can immediately seek help to cure or eliminate the urge. You can try to stop gambling for a while and do other things that are not related to gambling so that you can divert your attention from gambling. You also need to ask your family for help if you are stressed by gambling and want to heal yourself. It was your fault because you gambled without self-control, which made you too serious about gambling. You still have the opportunity to change, but you have to change your life seriously. This is about the struggle to change your life so you can heal yourself from gambling.

If these anxiety disorders or a strong desire to gamble are happening to you and you can't think about other things in life, then my advice is that you seek help from a doctor, this is the most important part, according to you you should immediately stop being on the internet for a long time, this is because the longer you stay on the internet the greater the chances of you continuing with thoughts of wanting to play, I hope you can see that. so if you have a computer with internet access at home, I suggest you disconnect the internet, if you have a phone that goes online, then I suggest you keep the phone that goes online and start using phones that don't go online, with that you will being able to start taking your mind off games

Of course, the first few days without playing will be very difficult for you, because when you spend a lot of time thinking about gambling and you spend a lot of time playing, then that person finds it very difficult to manage their time when they are not playing, She has thoughts like what she will do to pass the time without playing. That's why it's recommended that people start having lots of things to do in life, start acquiring other hobbies, like watching movies and series. start learning to play a musical instrument, start listening to music, start reading a lot of newspapers and books

take many courses such as cooking courses that help you relax and keep your thoughts focused on the kitchen. spend time sitting and taking in the air on the balcony of your house, spending time strolling on the beaches, in shops and watching sports games. In other words, you should focus on having fun with other things in the real world for a long time without using the internet until you forget about gambling. Don't be a person with pessimistic thoughts that you won't make it, don't think about it. Think about being a person with determination and willingness to change. addiction is something curable, so cure yourself and the key to healing is looking for a doctor and dedicating yourself to complying with all the doctor's recommendations

You probably get into gambling without knowing what you are into. I believe you are above 18 years and you are aware that you are responsible for whatever you do. The betting companies are running a business and you choose to patronize them without being force. There is nothing like spiritual in gambling industries but when you lack the ability to control your urge, you'll think they're controlling you. You are busy chasing your loses and that's why you are finding it difficult to control your urge for gambling. You are likely not to succeed in gambling if you have revenge mentality. You will not get the help you are looking for here unless you are ready to help yourself by staying away from gambling for a while until you realized that you need to approach gambling with a different mentality and not to make something huge out of it. Gambling is really fun when you approach it with the right mentality.

What you are describing here is a form of addiction and that is formed with some time passed gambling and is difficult to quit this habit. It is needed a huge self control and desire to do so first and foremost and then if this is not enough it is better to ask for professional help before things precipitate even further south and really bad things can happen and one of them is an increased level of depression which directly affect your health and life quality.

If you are addicted, try to seek for help. I think that you can't help yourself anymore when it comes with gambling, this is why a psychiatrist or a rehab center could help you because their job is to help you with your addiction. It's hard to blame the casinos since they are a business and they make their income from gamblers, majorly from addicted gamblers who spend non-stop to fulfill their addiction.

The side effects of your addiction are at their worst if you ask me, seek for help immediately.
