Gambling losing streak,

I’m into gambling for about months now, and in my first game I was able to generate profit enough to be happy, I continued for the rest of my 4 weeks of playing, sometimes its breakeven but I know its ok.

My friend invited me to play with him in casino this time, I have enough money to play for so I decided to say yes. Bad luck comes to me this time, at first my loss was about $500, so I know it is still fine and decided to continue, but the moment we stopped I think its too late now since I’ve already loss $3000, a very bad day for me. I’ve lost the money I’ve worked hard for.

This is an eye opener situation for me, and I’ve realized that gambling was slowly eating my brain and my money. Now I’m broke but still kickin, this can be the proof that chasing your losses is not good at all and it should be avoided. Have the same experience with me? Don’t hesitate to share and give some thoughts for those who are suffering from sitution like this.  Sad

The situation you have experienced is not new when you endulge in gambling especially in the casino where in there is a conspiracy that  the games are manipulated.
Not actually we are manipulated, we are not smart to be in gambling that resulting into losing every time. That's their game and they are much knowledgeable compared to us but their is no manipulation happens. We can't win in here even we are good enough in gambling if we don't have luck.

Do not get discouraged, a few days are lost, but others are won and won big! The important thing is to raise your head and move forward, life gives many opportunities to get up and if life gives those opportunities believe me the game will also give them! Wink

This has to be some of the worst advice I've seen anyone give to a gambling addict.
Probably because he is a gambking addict too. I don't have any evidence to prove this but I guess no one will give such advice except for those who already hooked too much because they already don't know what is right or wrong.

Did you really just say that he should just try again another time, because other people have won it big?

Follow that advice and you'll eventually lose everything you have.

Get some professional help and completely quit gambling without worrying about the losses you've already made.
You'll save more money by not gambling any more.

If its a losing streak, better to have some rest.
Its still not guaranteed that you can earn that money again in gambling since its pure of luck but if your into gambling that much, then you can still continue. If I'm the one on your position I will not gamble anymore especially if I've already loss a lot of money.

Gambling is not meant to enrich the players, but the casino owners. Please seek professional help before it's too late.
That's true, even if you have a lot of money if you will just gamble it you will lose it later on. Gambling is simply eating our meaning life, corrupting all the positive things and turn it into a broken pieces. If you lose in gambling, better to quit now while there's still a chance for you to quit or less, addiction will control you.

Your brain is what controls you, so if it's affected by gambling you will certainly loss.

There is no way we will win in gambling if we are not smart, we will only continue to spend money and without knowing we already spend
more than we can afford to loss. Some people suffer from financial crisis because of gambling, so let us not wait that time will come
we will experience the same, let's gamble but with control and treat it as a way to spend our free time, not to focus on it.

I feel sad for what you've said Sad. Well, past is past, just continue moving on. I know that it's hard but you have no choice at all, you have to be strong. Just try looking on the brighter side for you to recover fast, It helps a lot Smiley. Consider yourself lucky because you able to realized the mistakes you've done only at early stage unlike those addicts who already lose thousands or even millions of dollars yet continue their bad deeds. And at least, you already learned a lesson which lets you to avoid committing same mistake once and for all.

It doesn't mean that you will now quit gambling forever and ever, just be more responsible next time but if it is your choice then so be it, it was good for you after all Smiley.

this can be the proof that chasing your losses is not good at all and it should be avoided.

That will be a big mistake for gamblers to chase their losses even if they know that they are already losses in a big amount. I hope that you know the mistake so you didn't make the same mistake and it's better to avoid playing gambling for a while because I am sure that you still get the pain of your lose. Right now, you need to take a rest and search for the other activities, or you can try to search for a job to cover your daily needs.
The OP have probably learned from his mistake but if he dont apply a basic strategy which will make him know the time to stop gambling at the right time he'll definitely continue to gamble in other to recover his losses and I'm saying this because I have been there before.

I hope so. He cannot stay too long in gambling especially if he has lost in many times and I think it's better for him to get a rest for a while because playing gambling needs the stability of emotion. Many things he needs to do in gambling and he should prevent himself not to become addicted to gambling especially if his purposes are only for chasing the money and I guess that he will only get losing more money.

This is actually common happens to the people while they gamble but some of them can forget their lost and continue their life but some of them also feel regret why they gambling and the money where you lost in gambling it was never back again so stop regretting your decission because it will make you feel even more depressed and will eat your brain and your mentally and make it valuable experience for your further step so as not to happen again in the future

Losing in gambling and then keep trying may lead to get corrupting all the good things of our lives. But, what about the gamblers who are all getting what they actually want from gambling ? I mean some gamblers may win and leave and some other gamblers may target for entertainments and probably good at making that possible. I guess these gamblers will never get corrupting anything in their like out of gambling. Hence, it means gambling eating all the money of the gambler is not approaching it how it should be for the case of gambling. When we do not know how to gamble then it will lead to disasters only.

For us gamblers, we must know when to stop and when to continue on betting because even the game was really intensifying and you are into catching up what you have loss, we must need to compose ourselves to pause for a while and have a better luck on next time because playing gambling is a risk that is worth it if you know how to play in moderation. Chances of loosing a great amount of money is possible if you will not be contented of what you have achieved and still strive hard for it. There is no wrong on pushing through but better know when to give up before you loose everything in a glimpse of an eye. Make gambling a part of your leisure activities which I did into the online casino I have found that is convenient for me to play with plus I enjoy great bonus as their welcoming reward when I first did my deposit and it started to be fun and enjoyable playing with the varieties of games on it.

if this is becomes our number one priority of course our brains will be full with gambling stuffs and things but i play gambling for fun and chill that makes me more relaxful
in the beginning, all gamblers like that only played for fun
but over time, when you can't control it so you will become addicted

Not only it will eat your brain and money but your entirety. Your whole life, your family and everything that you have. If you don't know how to control yourself, time will come that you will be alone,  without your family, sad and broke.

A good perspective on gambling. If you can keep that and not be addicted, then it will do good for you. Gambling sometimes is really hard to control once your system is already used to it.

I always agree that gambling is eating all our brain and money. In the beginning days it will eat only our money but over the time through addictions it will start eating up our brain too. It is not easier to quit at wish hence not getting knowing about gambling itself too good.
You mean gambling addiction is the form of brain fading ? I guess it is somewhat similar to that but not exactly. Gambling addictions may lead to brain fade, I agree but it is not about not losing control on gambling but it will lead to aggressive gambling. Probably eating up our brain will be in the sense of not controlling ourselves like normal IQ person. Yes, addicted gamblers are known for less IQ levels.

Though is not too long I joined the gambling games casino and my experience has been negative and I intended to quit the stuff before it's become too late.

Whenever I loss in any game even in the traditional setting's I quit as much as I could to avert other losses.
Young people, intending to make money in gambling, enter the play without experience and loose all of it. This is not a kid game so better stay back at home and master excel to earn projects on freelance. Gambling requires you so many things. It is not a function of one skill. In addition, if you have money, better invest it in ETH or ripple than giving it all away in gambling for nothing.

I always agree that gambling is eating all our brain and money. In the beginning days it will eat only our money but over the time through addictions it will start eating up our brain too. It is not easier to quit at wish hence not getting knowing about gambling itself too good.
