Any one planing of going into gambling should first of all come to the realization that gambling was designed originally for those whose heart is strong enough to withstand the outcome of the gambling events as gambling related deaths has claimed the Life of many as their blood pressure increased as a result of losing from their gambling

So before you think of gambling with your hard earned money have a rethink and see if you can withstand the outcome especially in football when the team you placed your bet is losing by 2:0 can you withstand the pressure of watching the game knowing that you're money is going away?
Losing money is a risk in gambling, there is a price that must be paid for fun or just trying luck in gambling, so you have to balance the money you make before it is issued for gambling because you will lose it there.

For those who have regulated their finances, they will not be afraid of the disadvantages of money because they have prepared it to be anticipated, especially why we have to gamble responsibly, because the loss has become a projection that must be taken if it is not as hope.

The money you’re using to bet on a game does not have much to do with how you react to the games when they don’t go in your favor. The human mind is designed originally to feel saddened when they’re losing money, so you don’t have to put a big amount of money before you’ll be under pressure. Any money put into gambling as long as it is your money, you’ll feel bad when losing it and will affect your mindset towards gambling. The strong hearted even though they feel the pain will still want to continue and hope that they get their big win one day.

When gambling, you should be able to control your mindset on how you react to the games you’ve played and have it in mind that it is a game of luck and no matter what the outcome will be, you should to some extent be able to beat it and move on with the reality of the game. Even if you don’t gamble and you put your money into something and are already on the verge of losing it, you’ll definitely have an high blood pressure that will affect your well being. So it is natural to feel bad when losing money and it doesn’t only apply to gambling games only.

No one that bet with huge amount of money that has a strong heart if the person is losing. Gambling should be for those that can use little amount of money to gamble. The recommended amount to gamble with is 1% of your income. If you earn $1000 weekly, the best is to gamble with not more than $10.

That's a great piece of advice if you look into profitable aspects, though that idea would coincide to the idea of gamble what you can afford to lose. I think using 1% of an income that we had couldn't drain your funds badly. However the chance won't matter as long as you'll accept the fact that in gambling we will eventually lose if you're not lucky on your bets. At least, you'll able to enjoy when you play without worries.

Designed for the strong heart in the sense that for those who are really ready to lose the money they bet, and this is the reason why many people say and suggest to only bet with the amount we can afford to lose and not more than that, but maybe for an occasional experiment it doesn't matter.

On the other hand, it is true that gambling is full of pressure but actually the pressure can be controlled by yourself, or what is meant is that you should not feel the pressure if for example from the start you gamble with the amount of money you are ready to lose, therefore many people advise us to only gamble for entertainment purposes and not make winning a top priority, none other than because if for example you come with the aim of seeking victory then in the end you will only experience a lot of pressure considering that there is no way that can guarantee victory.

Most people that their lives were claimed are suffering from life threatening ailments, which already gives them a very weak fuse and could not withstand any much pressure from anywhere and I can confirm to you that even if the game won, over-excitement would've still killed most of them. It takes very good emotional control and health to be able to deal comfortably with gambling. I would also mention that some emotionally withdrawn people goes to the extent of committing suicide when they cannot deal with the detriments of addiction no more. It's very much appalling how people react irrationally to defeats in life and how easily they give-up on themselves.

I personally do not watch games that I stake often, and the ones I do watch are the times I am more emotionally stable, or over bottles of alcohol that helps heighten my emotions and makes me less feeling. Again, I have really learnt to stake with minimal amounts that means nothing to me, so I kind of feel more comfortable to watch matches that I stake knowing fully that I have so much more money and loosing that stake means nothing to me.

It’s not always like this because you can always place small bet or what we called bet what you can afford to lose so that you can remove the pressure out of your system on your bets.

You will only feel being pressured if you are risking an amount which is below to your risk tolerance. Gambling was designed for entertainment purposes. Obviously you shouldn’t gamble if you don’t want to lose money at all since there’s a house edge that will guarantee lose of players in the long run.
That's correct: if the amount used in placing a bet is relatively low, there is a lower chance of the gambler feeling pressure, but let's also not forget the pressure that comes with big winnings for those who place bets with a little amount on sports betting, choosing and combining more than 2 games (parlay).

Sometimes the amount used in placing such a bet can be very small, but the potential winning amount can be very high, and after all other games have finished playing, just as predicted, the last set of games ends up disappointing the majority of bettors. They can't handle that disappointment.

On the other hand, there has also been news before of someone who collapsed and died after winning a big amount of money from betting, which could be as a result of already having a health issue, which the joy that came with winning sent him to that condition.

Obviously you shouldn’t gamble if you don’t want to lose money at all since there’s a house edge that will guarantee lose of players in the long run.
Therefore, in gambling, do not intend to make money because if such thinking will have heavy pressure and the amount of bets will be large because they expect high winnings.

Feeling that gambling is for fun, then the small amount is the best as well as will not have heavy pressure because it is able to lose this money also because of the small money at stake.

Many people experience the problem of placing large bets, and not having no control ends up spending all their savings, then life becomes depressed and finally commits suicide because of the heavy life pressure due to losing.

Although gambling involves money when betting, it does not mean that when gambling we have the intention to win or the money we bet becomes multiplied, because that will only make us continue to play to pursue victory without caring about the defeat that occurs, even in large amounts. So intend to gamble just for fun, just by spending a little money like we go to a bar to spend a few dollars to have fun and things like this sometimes bring luck.

Big bets if not based on skills and playing with full awareness will be in vain because playing with full awareness has the potential to make us able to control ourselves, emotions and the game. It is not the game that controls us and no matter how much money is bet it will still run out, and this will cause gamblers to become frustrated and even do things beyond reason because of their own actions.

Instead of having a strong heart what about if they just learn to use money they can afford to lose?
Afford to lose mean a different things to different people. For the OP afford to lose from the context of the being strong hearted can be even when you use the lose you can afford to lose and you lose it be prepared to also bear the pain of losing that money. Money isn't easy to come by so even when I use little one I can to bet, at the back of my mind, I want it to be a win and when I lose it, it still hurts and I have to encourage myself that the next one will be a win. This is my best understanding of what the OP means by strong hearted in the context above.
I can remember the pain that comes from losing each time that happens, so this leads me to ask the question is there money that anyone can afford to lose that won't cause discomfort to you, this question is very important so that we can prepare our minds towards every loses and how we accept the feelings that come with it.

But also, some of the people who use their hearts and are called strong-hearted are not good decision-makers when it comes to gambling since in most likely cases, they act based on their emotions and are easily carried away with the feelings of previous bets either lost or won.

People always talk about mental health in gambling, but physical health is also important. The stress of losing games or being in debt can give you heart attack, high blood pressure, and other health issues.
All of this starts from the state of the mental health. A person who gets emotional traumatized will reflect it on their physical health. When a game is lost at the initial stage it doesn't target the physical look. It's over time if not properly managed then the impact will start reflecting on the physical wellbeing of the victim.

Quote
Being a responsible gambler is not just about managing your finances, it's also about taking care of your physical and mental health. If you gamble often, you can get severe heartaches from losing games, and it might even result in something serious.

So, you have to be careful with both your mental health and physical health. Even though people say be a responsible gambler, the truth is that gambling can actually cause health issues.
Taking care of the physical wellbeing has nothing to do with losing a game. The only limitations that hinder a person from looking physically healthy is lack of money. But for mental health with or without money once a gamer losses more than they can afford it might trigger depression which might end up leading to other kind of effects like heart attack as mentioned

So before you think of gambling with your hard earned money have a rethink and see if you can withstand the outcome especially in football when the team you placed your bet is losing by 2:0 can you withstand the pressure of watching the game knowing that you're money is going away?

When I started betting on sports, I couldn't stop thinking about the outcome of each bet I made. I was very anxious about the outcome, and unfortunately the outcome was a loss. When I saw that I had lost, I was very sad and felt like a failure. I didn't know how to fix my mistake. I watched videos explaining how to analyze games, and I did exactly what they taught me in the video, but I still lost and felt bad.

The worst part of all this is that most of the time when I was watching the games I bet on, the teams I bet on were winning, and I was actually quite happy about it. But when the game went to the 2nd half and in the final minutes they tied or lost. Man, I said to myself: "Enough, I can't take it anymore" and I made my last bet, which I won, and then I stopped betting for years. I only came back when my mental health was strong and I saw games as just fun. Today I can safely say that I place bets, sometimes I lose, sometimes I win and I'm not sad when I lose.

People always talk about mental health in gambling, but physical health is also important. The stress of losing games or being in debt can give you heart attack, high blood pressure, and other health issues.

So, it's important to watch your physical health when you're gambling. You should do regular check-ups to know when your BP is high, when it's moderate, and when you're prone to high BP. You can then stay away from whatever causes it.

Being a responsible gambler is not just about managing your finances, it's also about taking care of your physical and mental health. If you gamble often, you can get severe heartaches from losing games, and it might even result in something serious.

You are right, like I will always say, it is best to gamble for the fun while also bearing in mind that it is not fun to loose hard earned money, atleast, this knowledge helps us to keep our selfs and gambling habit in check.

But again, the context the op is coming from is very clear and understandable, and that is for one to avoid gambling if he or she can not bear the emotional trauma that comes with loosing, most especially significant loses.
But ordinarily, every gambler should never bet what they can't afford to bear if lost, this is one of the most common rule in gambling which I believe every gambler is aware of, whether a newbie gambler or not.

I wouldn’t say “yes” to that because, in my opinion, even if we have a weak heart or personality, we can still enjoy gambling. Why? Strong-hearted people often become too aggressive, and that is not a good thing. Although we can say that they might handle losses better, their aggressiveness can lead to even bigger losses.

But if we are weak people, we stay calm and carry a bit of fear, and we tend to think every situation carefully and could possibly be out of addiction and overspending. That is why, for me, I’d choose someone with a little fear, as it helps us control ourselves rather than being an aggressive person.
I don't think that's what "strong hearted" the @OP meant.

Strong hearted people isn't about how aggressive or calm the people is, but strong hearted people can accept the risk. There's a weak and aggressive people, which end up in commit suicide because they dare to do high risk thing and don't think about the long term.

Why do I see so many strange threads today? One thread calls for gambling with money borrowed on credit. In another, they ask how strong you are in spirit to endure a loss (apparently of such a size that it is easier to die further so as not to suffer). Before asking such questions for discussion, it probably makes sense to think about why such ideas arise at all.
Such ideas arise because they are commonly faced by many gamblers around the world in a daily basis. Gambling plays with emotions, and extend them to large proportions in a way they can really impact the gambler's health in different manners. It can be positive, when the gambler feels the excitement of a big achievement due to a jackpot winning, but it can also be negative, when the emotion is just too strong to be endured by the gambler, so the body can't resist.

I believe emotions tend to become more impacting when the player is dealing with the fact he MUST win that bet at all costs, what indicates he is playing with money he can't really afford to lose. That is not healthy, neither advised. When the gambler plays with cheap money, he won't feel too pressured for potential results being a loss, for an example. Therefore, it's a good strategy to follow the hint of playing with small sums of money which won't affect the financial expenses and responsabilities after all.

Well, it is not a must to watch sports match one placed bet on, I can tell you that I don't usually have the time to watch most of the matches I bet on, I only check results online when ever I am back from my working place, and so far, it's been exciting betting.

Sorry, but I have always believed that anybody can bet, play gambling and enjoy the experience and the excitement it gives, but this lies in the person's approach and mindset, and possibly, reasons for gambling or placing bets as well.
Anyone who has no other motive for gambling or betting, other than to make money, will always end up frustrated and angry, and stand the risk of developing health issues if they encounter loses that is hard for them to bear, this is why it's important we always take gambling for what it is, a game, and not a money making venture.

Not only heart, if you play gambling you must need to make sure that you are emotional and mentally capable to make a decisions in your own and it depends on the current situation of the game, even you have a lot of money but in terms of crucial game people get tilted and easily make a wrong decision without even thinking the possible outcome. Now if you play gambling you must need have at least a self control with your actions not just getting carried with the game.

In terms of sports betting you must need to have a knowledge with the data and statistics of the team because its your advantage if you know how they play you can easily predict the match up winner but consider its a sports game every thing can happen in the game.

accurate calculations and must be consistent in spending, this can reduce a person's stress level if they lose, but on the other hand if they play without using limits and the risks taken, then as OP said, they can die quickly and high blood pressure cannot be avoided
