If the game that I bet for isn't doing good for my choice, I turn off the TV or turn away from the monitor so that I cannot watch it. But that doesn't mean that I have a weak heart.
It is accepted to me that whenever that scenario comes, it's a light way of accepting defeat. I have already concluded that my bet has lost but it's true, gambling isn't for the fainted heart.
With such bets that we make, we need to be determined that it's about to be gone although there's still a possibility that it might have some twist and win even more.
You know, it seems to me that for many people, such behavior when betting on sports will affect their health worse than if such a bettor watched the match and expressed emotions. And then it is very useful to throw out accumulated emotions. One of my friends screams like crazy when playing Dota 2, but he says that after that he gets an emotional release and feels incredibly rested. The secret is that he rarely wants this. So, many people, when they do not watch the match they bet on, still worry. It has been scientifically proven that internal worries hit the body harder than any drink or cigarettes.
I've been there when there's so much emotion invested to playing because gambling is involved. I know how it feels and that is why gambling isn't really for weak hearts, for weak people.
It's because they might blame others for losing their money and they might have hard time in moving on. I think it works that if we don't watch our bets because that's not giving us an idea on how it goes so far.
you know what they say in the markets
“Scared money don’t make money”
If someone don’t like volatility or is too scared to loose they’ll hardly be able to make more
It is like that since the early days
Now, its interesting how most people fear uncertainty and gambling or betting is usually accepting that uncertainty rules it all
I agree, that's why whenever I bet. I think of it that it's as good as gone money and so the opposite impact of it through my mind gives me the better result.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it's not.
