I agree with you, we should not have the thought or assumption that we can become rich or achieve wealth just by gambling, although there is a chance to win but we know that winning in gambling is difficult to get, let alone a big win with a small win is difficult to happen or get, let alone a big win that rarely happens or is obtained by someone who gambles. Maybe only those who have god-level luck get a big win that can change their life circumstances.

You are mostly right with all that you have said, but the part of your comment I do not agree with is the part you said gambling is a bad addiction. It's bad to end up in or with such conclusion and mindset.

Gambling is only addictive, same way other stuffs like food, watching TV, smart phones, trading, alcohol, smoking, s@x, traveling, driving and a host of other stuffs and activities can be addictive, and this does not mean that every one who gambles is addicted to gambling. Those who let themselves get addicted to gambling get addicted, but those who gamble and find a way to control themself don't and won't get addicted.

But gambling is something that more faster for someone to get addicted because it do involves money but i do agree on what you have said that addiction is something that basing up on someones decision towards on dealing up on a particular thing on which this doesnt really that only talks about gambling but also in other things or aspect as well. It will really be that up into a person on how he would really be trying out to deal up with things accordingly. If you do have that control and moderation then there wouldnt really be no issue at all but on the moment that you've seen yourself dealing up on extensive manner then you would really be ending up on having some issues on which this will really be that pertaining into those actions on which it is really that more than on what you should gonna sensibly do when you do have that good control and moderation.

However since it is not everyone that are risking what they can afford to lose on gamble, it shows that it's not everyone that will also be lucky to win money from gamble. Although, most folks that's new to gamble also get lucky at their first game/s as a new gambler, but that first winning makes them to think that gamble is a short cut to success. Meanwhile they do not know that it was luck that made them to win at their first game. Many gamblers expect that gambling will solve their financial problems and continue to gamble and spend extra time and money. Yes, that's mostly the case. It's because they didn't think it through before they jumped into gambling. Truly, it can ruin one's life and I think I have also been in a position where I got so stressed when I lost a lot in gambling that I became easily irritated with things that were happening in my surroundings, one small mistake looks big to me. When I felt that, it was also the time when I took a long rest with gambling and tried to straighten myself out.
It's helpful, taking a break is a cure so that we won't be a gambling addict. Afterward, all my bets are thought through and I just gamble a bit of money every payday, win or lose, I will not deposit again and I kept that discipline which works out pretty well for me.
