with my experience, I thought bitcoin is still the major cryptocurrency which used in online gaming, we tried to use ether in our business but I have to say we have to support bitcoin asap for gathering more players.

I see many coins around. Even a year ago there were some casinos accepting litecoin and dogecoin. As bitcoin is now really expensive and slow plus some people are afraid of tomorrow's segwit thing, I thought it would be interesting enough to create a poll and see how many people still gamble with bitcoin and are there many fans of other coins. Nowadays the range is really wide, so we have what to choose from What do you think?

Well, almost cryptocurrency sportsbook only accept bitcoin. I rarely saw a sportsbook that accept other cryptocurrency than bitcoin, the last time is directbet but its already closed right now. But for dice sites and casino, there are many options though, some accepted ETH and LTC and many more not only bitcoin.

I once tried using doge for a dice game and my bet went well at first I was winning but after 30 minutes everything went wrong until I lost everything I have. I guess that was not my lucky day and even if I use altcoin for gambling I am still not a lucky person.
The odds of the game are not going to change just because you are using a different coin, the chance of winning depends directly from the house edge, so if you want to play for longer periods of time then it may me a good idea to look for the casino with the lowest house edge and play there from now on.

Well i don't think you'll find it easy to look for a casino that would tell you truthfully anything about their house edge. They'll probably sugarcoat it to a very minimum to attract more players. Though you got it on point when you said that the coins you're gambling with won't make any difference on your chances of winning.

Your luck does not depend on any coin you use for gambling. But doge coins are good to gamble because its prices are quite low and also its prices will not fluctuate like other coins. I also play with doge coins dice game but to bet on sports, I always prefer to go with bitcoins and never bet with any altcoins until now.

It's strange some people get superstitious even about the kind of coin to use for gambling, I use both bitcoins and Altcoins for my gambling and they are never a factor in determining how successful those bets will become. Like you I bet on sports with my bitcoins whereas dice with either litecoins or dogecoins.
If I was chosen between gambling with altcoin and bitcoin, I would choose altcoin because its transaction confirmation time is faster, in addition, the price of altcoin is quite cheap, if we play for fun, altcoin would be a wise choice. We should not choose bitcoin to gambling, the price of bitcoin always increases over time, and we are wasting a lot of profits when gambling with bitcoin. And I have the advice that we should not put too much money and time into gambling, we have more useful things to do, gambling never bring good results

Currently, I gamble ethereum more than Bitcoin because I get quicker confirmations and the fees are also a little less than that of bitcoins. My Altcoins gambling experience isn't that much that's why I have experience with only ethereum.
Ethereum gambling is really good and easy i have seen couple of sites and all we have to do is send to the contract address if we sre lucky the funds will be sent automatically back from the address we sent with profit, i would say ethereum gambling is more anonymous than bitcoin as it doesn't require a account

Fortune jack and Crypto-Games.net will be a good example for gambling site that accept altcoin

it is very rare to find a gambling website that accepts altcoin. I know there are directbet that accept payments other than bitcoin there are also doge, ltc, eth. but its website has been closed. Does anyone know which gambling sites accepted altcoin?

Gamblers wants to play gambling with bitcoins because they knew that you don't need to sell your altcoins or exchange your altcoins because it needs fee bitcoin is always the best coins to gambling with. No matter what happen bitcoin is still the best of best.

If you're going to gamble with altcoins, the fee would be in altcoins as well in btc rate. There's just a number of alts that gambling sites accept and its good for example you have some leftover alts from trades. If its just dice you're playing, you don't have to set up a specific amount separately.
Yes Unfortunately we are so rare to see a crypto casino who accept altcoins ,
Where the benefit actually so helpful ,
A very low fee , faster transaction to be confirmed and the volatility too ,
Let's hope that more crypto casino could also accept various altcoins in the near future.

I still use bitcoin for gambling i know that their are many coins now that we can use to play gambling. But bitcoin is only the best one because you once play on different coins once you win you will sell it into bitcoin. So bitcoin is the best one to use if you bet on gambling.

It actually depends on individuals and I also so far gambled mostly with Bitcoins. But some people prefer to use altcoins now due to Bitcoin high transaction fee and takes a lot of time to confirm transactions. For this reason, sometimes I play with Lite-coins but didn't convert them back to bitcoins yet because I think lite-coin coin also can go grow bigger.

I use bitcoin simply because is the only coin accepted everywhere, if you tried to play with alts you will find that some casinos do not accept them and you will be forced to play in other casinos, this is not the case with bitcoin, I think it will be a challenge to find a casino that accepted crypto but that does not accept bitcoin.

My only alternative to bitcoin is ethereum because fees are considerably low and when you need to make a deposit in your account confirmations are fast you need to worry about stuck tractions unlike bitcoin which is unpredictable with congestions at times.

You have a lot of choices if you are going to gamble with fortunejack. ETH's fee is considerably low but it's value now is too high, I wouldn't gamble with this type of coin anymore because I want to look for the holding profit instead of taking the risk and gambling with this coin. The same goes with bitcoin, if you want to gamble look for some other coins that can be at your comfort.

Probably a good advice but somehow flawed.  You can always convert you altcoin to Bitcoin and hold it so that definitely contradict your purpose.  Anyway, I would love to play gambling games with an altcoin like litecoin or dogecoin because they are faster to confirm.  This will save me from waiting several minutes like when we deposite with bitcoin we need to wait for it to have at least 1 confirmation and sometimes that 1 confirmation can take several tens of minutes of hours depending on your transaction fee.

Gambling with altcoin far more riskier than bitcoin since it's difficult to predict
I'm usually bet with ETH once a week and sadly I'm still no luck on it so for the rest I'm prefer to trade it rather than gamble it away
I find gambling with bitcoin and altcoin to be the same. With bitcoin the availability of gambling websites were high than the gambling websites available with altcoin acceptance. Confirmation of the odds using bitcoin becomes more effective than usage of altcoins.
Sometimes gambling with altcoins can be better if we look at it from a physiological perspective, with the price of bitcoin so high we seem to put on smaller and smaller bets but if you use something like dogecoin then you suddenly feel that you are betting a lot even if that is not the case.

If you follow your method, sometimes you may lose more money in altcoins than bitcoins. Because as you mentioned that while playing with Dogecoin you may be thinking that these coins are very cheap, so you increase your bet amount and without your notice, you might be betting very high amount, and you will come to know only after you lose all your bankroll. It happened a couple of times to me as well. My highest bet amount in Dogecoin was 320000 coins in a dice game.
Yeah, had a similar experience when i was betting with litecoin on a dice game, when one has high balance/bankroll tends to bet higher amount. anyways i gamble most of the time with bitcoin!
People have different reactions, personally I prefer to gamble with some doge since it feels like I’m betting a lot of money when that is not the case but it seems that in you that has the opposite effect so in your case as you are currently doing I will recommend that you gamble with bitcoin.

I think it's good to see more and more gambling with altcoins. It helps grow altcoin and why should bitcoin have all the fun. Online gambling has always been huge now with bitcoin it's even bigger so it stands to reason for it to move on to altcoins. Altcoins could do with the exposure and addition trade needed for gamblers to gain these coins.

Basically Bitcoin, then Litecoin and very rarely Dogecoin. Very limited sites accept dogecoins and few doesn't have a proper house edge.
So currently I prefer BTC and Litecoin, and Litecoin as altcoin being the most. Also tried ETH but didn't suite me.
