I have some alts on hold and if I'm not in that good time to gamble with my bitcoin because it's quite being low at this moment or with the same scenario, I'm not going to gamble with my bitcoin. There are a lot of alt coins that I can choose to gamble and every casino does have their own choices for the alt coins which is in favor to us.

to me i personally have no idea about gambling to play using altcoin, because i never play gambling with altcoin, as i mostly play gambling using bitcoin while playing gambling online although a lot of gambling sites even accept some altcoins also. while i use our fiat currency when play gambling in physical casino, because most of physical casinos do not accept bitcoin in my area.

everybody knows bitcoin price will always fluctuating but i think that is not a big problem for the gamblers because as long as they can gamble and satified then they will not really care about the fluctuating price and indeed disadvantages from gambling with altcoins is because not too much options for gambling online sites which is accept altcoin even more likely some of them only accept bitcoin

I think this is because dogecoin don't have much value so even if you will loss few thousand doge you will not loss much in terms of bitcoin or fiat. Grin

But yes dogecoin have faster network confirmation which makes it ideal for gambling. You don't have to wait hours to get few confirmation like with bitcoin deposit.

They can not afford that loss.

Would you buy altcoins with bitcoins and then gamble with them? Would you buy altcoin with dollars and gamble with it? Or would you mine altcoins and instead exchanging it to bitcoins and waiting for price to go up gamble with mined altcoins?

So,bitcoins price is stable? I dont think so because price wont really be stable into bitcoin knowing that it do fluctuates too but we can really compare the level of volatility compared to altcoin which is really more than into bitcoin.When we do make use on the word "stable" which means it doesnt move and does have fixed price.It might move but on 1 digit movement for a certain period of time which cant be considered as volatile. Gambling altcoins is enjoyable too but if you do believe on its potential to rise up its price better not to waste it and hold it for long term.

I think he was right before china banned bitcoin exchange, the price looks strong for couple weeks and i do same like him now i choose to bet using litecoin maybe if not use bitcoin/cryptocurrency, i would choose to use bitcoin because i've sell all bitcoin for prevent the price down.

Same here, using this Altcoin in gambling is a little bit complicated for me or should I say too hassle because you don't know how much money you make already if you are not going to look on the exchanger. Using bitcoin is more convenient for me and in this way, we could make mote profits than using altcoin, in my opinion.

Gambling is something so cheap that bitcoins are not meant to be used for it. Gambling is just wastage of money, time, health and skills. Altcoins are cheap so that’s why people are using them for gambling. Bitcoins are very much precious than altcoins.

All altcoins are cheaper than bitcoin, but if you gamble 100 dollars in bitcoin or if you gamble 100 dollars in altcoins then at the end of the day you still gambled 100 dollars, so the most important thing when you gamble is not the coin you are using but the amount of money that you bet in a session.

Aside from leftover altcoins from trades, i think in general, most people who gamble with crypto use bitcoin. It isn't that hard to see since btc is the most accepted among cryptocurrencies.

The high fees are affecting all aspects of bitcoin, with fees as high as five dollars making small transactions is not possible anymore, you need to either send a big amount of money or wait until the mempool is mostly empty and even then the fee can still be too high for most people, let us hope that this is fixed with segwit in the near future.

That would be the best solutions for all to be happy, also I guess the fees which we considered high is not material to high rollers because they play with big amount of money. I also honestly think that even if I am not in a position that I can gamble money without worrying I would still gonna go with the security and faster transaction even if I have to pay extra.

For those that have a lot of money that may not seem like a lot of money and that is fine, but for a lot of people around the world 5 dollars can be a whole day of pay, so if we want bitcoin to reach a wider audience then the fees need to get cheaper or adoption by most people of the world is not going to be possible.

Another reason for people to start using altcoins and stop using bitcoins for gambling is that bitcoin are way too expensive now and people dont wana risk in gambling. Thats why they tend to gamble in altcoin but altcoin gambling options are limited.

Well i do some gambles with the free coins i can claim at yobit, and the most of them has the value of 1 satoshi, soo isnt worthing anything even if someone pump to 10 satoshis the value i claimed is soo tiny that wont make any difference, and better then fiat since i dont need to expose myself. I wont play with bitcoins because i believe into its potencial, and into January 1 bitcoin were 1200 dollars, soo if you lost 1 btc it were those value, but nowadays its 4000 dollars, soo you had lost a lot, even if you havent paid those value you will regret had wasted your bitcoins at gamble.

Some people who gamble occasionally they mostly gamble with Bitcoins only but many regular gamblers know that bitcoin transactions are slow and it needs a more transaction fee so they will prefer to switch to some other altcoins where they can pay less fee and get confirmations faster. Particularly if you're not investing in altcoins then you may not be playing with altcoins.

I assume that traders also involved with alt coins gambling since they understand how to take advantage of this type of currency and most pro gamblers
are taking this as their edge considering the low and fast transactions the numbers of bet as well can be modify because converting btc to fiat will much greater in numbers.
