Using bitcoin in gambling is a lot more better than using this altcoins on gambling, using altcoin on gambling is hassle because you are going to convert it first to bitcoin, while if you are using bitcoin, there is no need to do so, and the price you might get is bigger compare if you are going to use altcoin. Now all gambling sites are allowing players to do gambling with altcoins and bitcoins. The major coin is bitcoin, but they are included few altcoins in their sites. And yes using bitcoin is better than using altcoins because here we have to pay multiple conversion charges and in that time the price varies means without playing gambling we will get the loss. So better if you play with bitcoins no extra charges you need to pay, and it is acceptable in all casino sites.

Not many coins are accepted in gambling website. Only coins that have enough feature about 100% can easily sell, everyone needs it ( not MLM coin), rank of that coin used to be at top 1 to top 20. That coin is a mined coin, not getting from investing like some pre-ICO project.

If the purpose is to save for a longer period of time then I guess the right way to do is just to buy and hold.
Gambling with altcoins only give more convenience as it's cheap and way faster than bitcoin, whatever you bet it will your budget and when you win you'll cash out anyway so there is no big connection really in investing.

Like many others here I also gamble with bitcoins, I earn bitcoins from campaign then I trade or gamble with bitcoins it would be a little trouble to gamble with some altcoin cause I don't earn them, I need to buy them in some exchanger and then send it to casino whybto do that when I can gamble with bitcoins directly.
I would like to try to gamble with litecoins and ethereum. If I ever decide to gamble with altcoins this will be my first two choices and I would like to earn them somehow and gamble with them, but if that don't happen ibwill buy them and then gamble.

bitcoin fees always be the main problem apparently because this is the effect from bitcoin price then automatically the fees also will high too and gambling with altcoin is good to decrease the fees amount because Doge or LTC have low amount for each transactions but regarding the options not much online gambling sites who accepting altcoin and normally if there is new gambling sites announced most of them will use bitcoin and altcoin is not their main option

Why are going to low value ICO because its value does not matter to us but top altcoin list will be good option to invest still in gambling and many platform. Nowadays many sites gives option to pay with BCH, ETH and more altcoins. If altcoin is being then new get doubled soon.

I would rather pick bitcoin.
The chances of any coin now going to zero is so high specially the ones who started with the ICO. A big dump is happening everytime it completes the ICO and the coins will have no use after that. Late sellers will be the ones affected. So how could you use the other coins if they cannot stay for so long.

Well, using bitcoin in playing gambling is such a big time amount today, well if you want to gain big time winning much more better use bitcoin for easy big time winning while alts is good too but it is not that too big and you can also gamble small amount through it. There are Gambling sites now that using alts through payments.

Personally, usually i use bitcoin to gamble, because i know that bitcoin is one of the best cryptocurrency for gambling, It have a very high price and a great potential. So i think if you want to make a very great profit in the long terms, try to increase your bitcoins, by the ways, I think that there is some altcoins maybe have a bright future like ETH, litecoin and dogecoin.

Many reputed sites are accepting Doge coins expect a couple of them like primedice site. If you're planning gamble only for fun then you can always choose the site which are accepting these altcoins to play the games and no need to go to those Bitcoin-specific sites to play. Gambling altcoin actually is fit with people who want to hold that coin. But in real meaning, we're losing money in both ways .Owning some altcoin has their own fun. Like etherum is an example, for now etherum is a good currency to gamble cause the price is going to be crazy after the hard fork.

But if one doesn't have altcoins then it is not so smartness to send coins to exchange to convert altcoins for gambling instead they can directly send it to gambling site to gamble. But if you want to gamble with the very small amount then yes bitcoin transaction fees are quite high and it takes a long time to confirm. If you have altcoins in your wallet then use them to gamble save some money in transaction fee otherwise no.
