These current changes in price will not have any effect on gambling. There are couple of sites which deal with Bitcoin only and have nothing to do with conversion or fiat.Bitcoin is not that high to be worried about.I think turn over will remain unchanged and amount of bet can be seen lesser in case of huge increase in price.

With the spike in price in BTC recently, do you gamble more or less during this time? I'm assuming people probably buy less and deposit, but what about the amount that's already in your account?

I have been thinking about this again and I was thinking that buying bitcoin is an investment in the first place because you making an investment in a digital currency by buying and then you can see if the $ value increases.
Honestly its hard to decide right now if i can stil gamble because of price spike and i think theres no changes because same bonus same game but different value.. we know the value of bitcoin is increasing daily and i think there still no changes as of now maybe after block halving we will see that most users are decreasing there capital if the price of bitcoin is increase high..

people will always reduce their bet amounts to prevent big money losses in gambling because everything is calculated with price of bitcoin so the bet size goes down with price rise.

Significantly rise of price is really helpful for betting as i am using bitcoin to place bet there but put into USD so that i am placing bet into low amount there and i think change in price is really wonderful for betting when i am placing more little amount there at the moment.

hmm, that is interesting. i have never seen any of the gambling sites to convert bitcoin to USD and let you play with fiat, what are the conversion rates on the site? and can you give some links?

We don't have BTC to USD, but we do have BTC to EUR. The rates are provided by Cubits Smiley

Well, because the price of bitcoin increase i keep gambling, but i reduce my maximum bet. It's like, i usually bet 5-10mBTC per match, and for now i will stay bet on 5mBTC.

Yeah, the price increase does have a significant enough impact for every gambling is done, because if we do not have a sufficient supply of BTC then we should buy more money with BTC (if up) or buy with the same amount of money but the BTC much more (if down). It is indeed profitable if we bought a BTC at a time when the price comes down to preparation and conduct of betting when prices rise.

It's getting more expensive to gamble on Bitcoinvideocasino now, I wish they added lower minimum bets to their slots.
Especially if the price goes up even more.

That progressive jackpot does look more interesting though Smiley
Yes, now a day the casinos seems more interesting as the price are higher even with small amounts too. It is more fun to play. But it may make more regret at the same time when lose ! Sad
Hahaha yeah it is peak time for those who hit the jackpot and equally bad for the gamblers who are loosing right now, because price is very high and is expected to get higher and higher. I am personally avoiding betting right now.

During the previous price of bitcoins hit around $800, I bet small amount of bitcoin to gambling sites.

Taking into consideration that the price is higher for a bitcoin, so I just set my limit of amount to put at stake at a fix price of dollar and not on bitcoin, so when the bitcoin price goes up previously, I do still bet the same amount of $ to gambling sites, which means a little bit low on bitcoin.

There will be somehow impact of these spikes in price of Bitcoin. As long as I am concerned I also have limited my gambling limits.I know I can not win always.I begin to place lower bets.We can say these price changes will not bring more profit to casino owners. It will remain same in spite of Bitcoin to reach higher and higher.
Yes exactly, because in our mind we know that the price of bitcoins is sky rocketed and why loose a big amount at such crucial times. I too limit my bets, like earlier I used to deposit 0.05 now I reduced to 0.025 or 0.03

Ah you have a point, sites should lower their minimum bet when the prices get high. Thats the only reason I gamble with dice, because it lets me bet even 100 satoshi and yeah my betting value highly changes with price up/down.

Yeah many gambling sites are like that right now. I am really surprised that they don't follow the fiat and instead follow BTC. There should be changes since it doubled in value.
I think apart from casinos no sites have minimum bets limits, and hence there was never a need of adjustment to system with price increase. Though I think there is a serious need of active changes as price jumps.

It's normally always a good time to stock up on bitcoins Smiley
Buy now and next year the buying power will increase so much you can buy 2x as many things.
Well, but do you gamble more or low when the price changes ? I personally play the same value in bitcoins, I play plinko often, because I never judge the value of bitcoins into USD, they are simply priceless man how can I determine their price in USD.

I gamble my coins no matter what the price is. Bitcoins are meant to be played and spent, regardless of its price.
And if I win, it is sure that I will get something better than what I had before, but if I lose, I stop gambling unless I make more btc.

true, it does bitcoin useful to satisfy us, but if you get a bitcoin with how you spend money to buy a bitcoin. Then you are very wrong, because it can negatively affect your finances. So I hope you don't do sloppy!!

The price shouldn't matter a great deal unless the price changes extremely fast during the day.  The only significant factor would be the limitations corresponding to the sizes of the maximum and minimum bets.  Other than the bet limitations, it really doesn't matter....bitcoin is bitcoin is bitcoin no matter what you spend it on.

but i think that if you are doing gambling in bitcoin then it carry no meaning either the price is changing are not but if you doing gambling in a local currency and for that you are coverting bitcoin in that currency then it matter and it will make you confused with the regular change of rates.

Hmm good point there. We do have EUR deposits in Bitcoin due to some games only taking EUR.

Thanks for that Smiley
