i used to gamble in yobit on altcoins, its pretty easy you just buy them at 10 satoshi and ride them up to 100-200.

Sometimes you win or lose, its all luck!

The recent price spike is due to Chinese investors pump this is at first point. The price has some affect over gambling with Bitcoin or not in my opinion there is nothing important.People who are playing will keep playing regardless of the price up or down than it was few days ago.

I had this issue 2 years ago when BTC kept going down and down. Basically you can hedge your position by using a broker like Bitfinex and just buy/sell on margin your position and you will be protected.

maybe price changing doesn't matter in gambling as the gambler wins stable amount of his gamble like 1.60 , but in trading the changing in bitcoin is very important , whereas you can make huge profit depends on your financial analyses , from other side , you maybe lose .
when Bitcoin price go up most of altcoins go down , for example , Ethereum , I can watch the inverse relationship between ETH and Bitcoin , especially now .

Price is going up like crazy but i am still placing bets on different sites because i like to play and current trend is very attractive for gambling, more high price mean more bigger profit than before so that it doesn't matter for me there.

If you already have coins from old stock then what you said is true. If you earn some coins from gambling then your profits will be higher than last time. But you should be careful because in gambling mostly people will lose and if it happens to you then you loses, will be higher than last time. Good luck to you.

Mu suggestion is now is the good time to sell your old stock because sudden changes in Bitcoin price. Its all most 100$ increment in just 3 to 4 days. So better don't loose your coins in betting try to sell some coins and make some profit. PLay with your investment only. We don't know when it will go down again so better sell now only how much you can.

if we are talking about price in gambling no change will be made mate as gamblers still gamble what ever price it can be, if you do have bitcoin from that specific gambling sites and you already have huge amount if i were you i will use my brain and withdraw it and enjoy my winnings, but in the real arguments price will stay the same no matter what will happen values will still there as gambling sites owner doesn't want to push away players.

I kind of hold back from gambling after the price went up, because i always gamble based on fiat so each time bitcoin goes up i kind of decrease my bet amount

I think many gamblers are getting hype to earn as many as they can right now. For sure some are trying to take a higher risk on big bets that they werent trying before just to be able to catch up in price changes.

With the spike in price in BTC recently, do you gamble more or less during this time? I'm assuming people probably buy less and deposit, but what about the amount that's already in your account?

People here most of time use only bitcoin currency. Meaning no currency involved and even with current exchange rate.

Bitcoin = Bitcoin ; just like ; Fiat = Fiat

Even with the price hike I see no changes when it comes to the percentage.

Also on the other hand, with the price hike, many gamblers will now be greed to get more for only a short period of time.

that is a beautiful thought but it is not right.
bitcoin like everything else has a value which is being weighed against fiat so rise means it is more valuable so that's a change right there for you.
you can't say 1 bitcoin = 1 bitcoin because you are not only dealing with bitcoin. lets say you want to pay for a game on steam today you pay 0.019BTC but if the price rises to $1000 you are going to pay 0.0099BTC so you see the changes are important.

Got your point and that is right. But please understand much my post about "gambling" and not for the buying products. That is for general as a whole.

About your thoughts,if we take it to the reality that is not real happening.

I doubt there will be gambling minimalization for those who always gamble just because the price spikes up recently. Smiley

Same as before i guess. The price of bitcoin is not a big deal for me when I'm gambling. I just bet and win and lose, no need for any consent on how the bitcoin price is high or low. It will be a very big deal if i'm cashing out my bitcoins into fiat money but for gambling, no.

I will gamble more to doubling my bitcoins, so i can sell more bitcoin and turn it into fiat, but the problem is i already sell all my bitcoins before the price increase  Undecided
you can buy your bitcoin back and keep gambling, but if still have luck  Grin , but if you lose and bitcoin price back down again , just don't regret it.

i often try to gamble to increase my bits for the halving. but not too much because there are chances that i can loose all my money. i also do some trades to get small profits of 1-10$ due to slight pump and dump in price.

LOL Grin, not too late bro, you can still take advantage of the price today and ride with the success, for me its a short term investment with a guaranteed profit if you risk now.
