With the spike in price in BTC recently, do you gamble more or less during this time? I'm assuming people probably buy less and deposit, but what about the amount that's already in your account?

I will gamble more to doubling my bitcoins, so i can sell more bitcoin and turn it into fiat, but the problem is i already sell all my bitcoins before the price increase  Undecided

I don't think it makes any dfference for people who gamles whether the price go up and now. When I am gambling with bitcoin I don't base it in fiat but play with bitcoin itself. Say, if I normally play 0.01 BTC everytime I gamble, I will still be playing with 0.01 BTC disrearding the changes happening in its price.

Its really no diference since gambling sites has minimum amount to gamble even if the price will rise the minimum  amount will be the same because it is intended to bet and I don't really think that they will get affected to price hike of Bitcoin and I think they will be happy for it because they get more profit for their stock by for their wallet.

In fact i was still playing gambling as usual when the price of bitcoin it was around $ 700. I do not think to reduce amount to play if prices bitcoin went up or not. Even that better when you win in play gambling sell it when the price were high.

I gamble all the time, for me its not important is it price up or down. Simply as that, normally its better when price is up. Then amount of coins I have worth more.

In my opinion this is one of the main advantages that bitcoin offer to people who like to gamble. For example someone buy 1 btc for 450 $. After playing some games for few days he decide to withdraw 1.3. He have nice amount won, price can be 461 $ on that day and he earned extra just cause of that.
That is simple example, I think there are people who approach much more seriously in this kind of earning. And of course its not easy like it sounds, but what is easy this days? Everything is a risk, so why to not have fun while we risking.

I don't see much of a reason for amount gambled to change.
If the value of a major fiat reduced or increased, people using the currency would likely stop gambling because of fear of losing a lot of money. However, most people using BTC don't use it as a major store of wealth, especially those gambling with it.

I know a guy that stopped trading last summer but because of the new
rise and volume he actually deposited at btc-e and is trading again.

there will 100% be more traders if the volume and prices start moving up
or down

Even the price of bitcoin is changing and increases the bet in gambling still the same and i think it will never change.. because its already set.
But if you are a player you can change your bet from big to low because the price of bitcoin is high..

People here most of time use only bitcoin currency. Meaning no currency involved and even with current exchange rate.

Bitcoin = Bitcoin ; just like ; Fiat = Fiat

Even with the price hike I see no changes when it comes to the percentage.

Also on the other hand, with the price hike, many gamblers will now be greed to get more for only a short period of time.

Amount can't change but the price can change, i don't understand for what this thread even the price change because we are place a bet using bitcoin, we already know bitcoin price is fluctuated so anytime we bet using bitcoin, the price still goes up or down in the market.

If you know anything about trading or if you're a trader you love periods like this.

volatility and volume are (or should be) your 'trading friends'.

traders are trying to stay away from stagnant or (lets call it) flat periods when the price doesn't swing much.

Oh, yes, I know that part of trading Smiley I meant gambling on online casinos and not trading. I don't think trading should be considered as gambling, even if there is a bit of chance, though managed, involved.
