i think if you are doing gambling in bitcoin then the price carry no meaning. but if the you doing it in USD or any other currency then you must first calculate the bitcoin and then do gambling because in USD the bitcoin rate is changing on daily basis.

There will be somehow impact of these spikes in price of Bitcoin. As long as I am concerned I also have limited my gambling limits.I know I can not win always.I begin to place lower bets.We can say these price changes will not bring more profit to casino owners. It will remain same in spite of Bitcoin to reach higher and higher.
gambling strategy also change with the change in price. when you earn more you like to bit a lot.

With the spike in price in BTC recently, do you gamble more or less during this time? I'm assuming people probably buy less and deposit, but what about the amount that's already in your account?
I still gamble the same amount before the price went up. The balance left/stuck in my account(while the price went crazy) are only profits i made from the sites so i dont need to buy and deposit again.

This change is price in my opinion will bring more revenue to gambling casinos/sites because now chances to win more money is at first glance.People really don't care much of how much they are paying to gamble they always see how much they can win.Personally I also am not worried because over all for me is same as was before price spike.

BTC price rise or drop doesn't matter for me at all. I base my gambling bankroll tight and have dedicated gambling budget.
I play mostly with BTC I earn from signature campaigns anyway, so if price BTC is high I might use 0.01 BTC for my gambling activities instead of 0.02 BTC, that's all.

I was always gambling with limited amount everyday. It really didn't effect me much.It is same if we have closer look if price is higher then chances of winning good money also are increased. There is some type of balanced when we look at buying/selling cost of winning amount.I don't think there is something to be worried about.

Yeah many gambling sites are like that right now. I am really surprised that they don't follow the fiat and instead follow BTC. There should be changes since it doubled in value.

I think it is going to effect things a lot and also in different ways.

for example I think for old gamblers who have been playing these games with bitcoin for a long time, they will continue playing with the same amount as before since it is all about bitcoin and 1BTC = 1BTC in this case.

but for those who want to buy bitcoin and invest in gambling or start gambling with bitcoin or those who are small time gamblers who gamble from time to time it is different because these will always measure things in fiat value so since 1BTC is $700+ these days they will invest and make smaller bets.

It's getting more expensive to gamble on Bitcoinvideocasino now, I wish they added lower minimum bets to their slots.
Especially if the price goes up even more.

That progressive jackpot does look more interesting though Smiley
Yes, now a day the casinos seems more interesting as the price are higher even with small amounts too. It is more fun to play. But it may make more regret at the same time when lose ! Sad

right now comparing with the time this topic was started a lot of things have changed. right now the price rise is so big that you can easily lose a lot of money if you lose today and tomorrow the price has gone up $50.
that is why i think i will be pausing all the gamblings for the time being to stop the losses

I've been needing to take a break from poker to recharge the batteries... converted my roll to BTC and have watched it increase without playing a hand Smiley #winning

Nice! Congrats Smiley Where are you playing poker, if I may ask?

I don't think the price fluctuation would effect gambling decisions as a whole very much.  Most sites don't even display a fiat value when placing bets.  All the gamblers see is their bet, denominated in BTC, so in their minds 1 BTC equals 1 BTC.  If people placed bets in fiat value it would be a different story.

yea thats true, i gambled on a casino and the daily volume is the same every day almost, gamlers like to play all day

i, personally, bet less when price is increasing massively..
But a lot of people just stay with their standard bets/bankrolls.
Yes there is lot of people stopped betting now. Because the price is varying too huge now today morning it was 590$ now it decrease to 570$. So now i too playing with only small amount only and i too stop other games now only betting on sport so let's see how many days this price will be stable.
