My two favorite players are still in the game. Some weeks ago I predicted that Jon Snow or Daenerys Targaryen will rule the throne (unfortunately did not find the post on the quick). Now it seems both having a "special" relationship I think one of both will remain and rule in the end. Just watched the last episode of the latest season. It was the best final episode of all episodes so far. Can not await the next one.

@GOT fans. Suggest me sources of information and spoilers for season 8. It will be a very long wait before we can watch it again but I would like to continue to maintain this thread and keep posting news and other progress made by HBO and the producers.
There are indeed leaks for the upcoming season 8 but according to reports, all of them are fake but without doubt it was really good reading them though, there was lots of deaths in the main characters and there wasn't any Azhor Ahai as a matter of fact.I hope the wait is worth it and that they make season 8 the best of all seasons.
The leaks differ every now and then so i'm.noy sure which is legit ans which is just trolling. I'd rather just rewatch the entire season 1 to 7 if i miss the show than search for leaks hat aren't legitimate. There won't probably any until season 8 starts

I'm a fun and have watched all seasons. I would like Jon Snow (or now apparently Aegon Targaryen) to rule Westeros, but he has a very singular character, and so I think it is not expected. So I bet Daenerys Targaryen

King's Landing could be burned & abandoned(as in Daenery's vision). It could imply people decided to live in other places which have a better climate. If there was enough real estate damage inflicted on King's Landing it might be cheaper to abandon it, rather than repair it. Haha. I'm kidding.
George R.R. Martin seems to enjoy killing off main characters & showing that no one is immune. Maybe his end game is for everyone to die, as you say. Cersei couldn't work together, cooperate or prioritize the survival of the human race above her own greed. Maybe none of them will survive that.
On the other hand, not all visions and prophecies in game of thrones come true. Daenerys child was prophesized to conquer the world. That vision/prophecy never came true. There's a chance Daenerys vision will not happen.

But do you think GRRM is going to give such a poetic ending to a show which is infamously known for killing main characters? Past two seasons we are seeing that the iron throne is not important, so it might happen that neither Jon nor Dany end on the throne but some 3rd person, could be tyrion he is a good political ruler better than Jon or Dany IMO. @gabmen. I agree. We might see Daenerys and Jon die in season 8 with their child surviving under the care of Tyrion, who I predict is also a Targaryen. Everything about Tyrion will be revealed in season 8 from either Bran's visions or from the manuscripts brought by Sam Tarly.

Jon is a warrior and he never wanted the crown at all, but once he knows his birthright, there is no way that he is going to sit idly by and let it go to her aunt and i think love is too much of a word, just because he has a strong attraction towards her and they both had sex doesn't mean he is in love with her.
