Any plans for offering a volt-mod service? Maybe with a hosting option? I've got 48 miners I'll send your way if you need a genie pig.

Just wanted to say that I have been very pleased with GAWminers.  They are now hosting both a 10 pack and a blade for me.  Portal is working fine and I can see all my miners.  They have remained stable, much more so than my GPU's at home.  I'll continue to do more business with them as they really treat the customer with care and personal attention.

Placed my 3rd order with GAWMiners!

Do you guys ever do special deals/sales on your mining cases?  I'd really like to pick-up the Gridseed T2 case.

Edit:  Also, is there a lead time on cases?  Most of the Scrypt cases I've seen like that always have a few weeks before they actually ship. Sad

Hi, thanks for your question!

We have a few day lead time on cases and we plan to continue to shorten this. We actually bought spotswood production line, so we are now the exclusive provider Smiley This will allow him to produce his high quality case at scale! It will take him a bit to ramp up production.

As far as promotion go, this case would be eligible for free shipping!

GREAT NEWS

Today Gridseed announced their picks for the five, world-wide, authorized resellers!

We entered this space several months after our competitors. We were competing with companies that had months to show Gridseed their capabilities, and we had just two weeks!

In every way, we were the underdog. We had less experience, less time, and the least amount of market penetration.

Today we were placed in the top 5 Gridseed distributers in the world! Check it out!

We plan to use our new position to continue to raise the bar and create even more benefits for our customers. The best is yet to come.

Every bit of this victory belongs to you. You guys believed in us before anyone else did.

-Thank you from the entire team here a GAW Miners

I've had sort of bad experiences with zoomhash and hash-master with obtaining 10 packs of gridseeds.  I placed an order with gawminer yesterday for a 10 pack as the price was down to $1695 shipped for the "kit".

Today rolls around and my order still hadn't shipped so I contacted them tonight after checking their site and noticed they now had the 10 packs hosted for a year for the same price.  I emailed my rep (Josiah) and asked if I could get my order converted to a hosted order since it didn't ship out today.  I then ordered another hosted 10 pack on top of that (and pointed them both at magepool).  I got an email back 20 minutes later from Josh stating that both were setup and mining to my pool.  After verifying this was true I commended them on the excellent support (at 9pm eastern time nonetheless).

I was very happy with the service from them as they've been the opposite of most vendors I've dealt with lately in our industry.  Josh helped he out a ton tonight and I greatly appreciate him help me get this up and running ASAP.

I would really like to see a option for adding back-up pools as that's fairly important to keep the pods going at all times.

totally agree with that and while at it - a maintenance support option for when our warranty period is over.

Agree.. UI is looking good.

I too would like to know what Errors and Utility means exactly..

Also some pointers and suggestions on when and why we might even need to restart a miner?

I noticed the other day I had a miner down and when I tried to just restart that one miner, it seemed to reastart the whole 10 pack..  So Info on how all this works would be good.

I have been pretty much trying not to touch anything in the UI now that my 20 pack is running good..  Dont want to break anything or cause downtime to myself..   Cool

My understanding is that "errors" value means hardware errors.  Utility is somewhat questionable.  I believe cpuminer doesn't report correct hashrate for gridseeds, cgminer does, "utility" may be derived based on accepts/rejects, however locally I see weird "utility" values from cgminer.

Restart probably restarts controller, so it looks like each 10-pack has its own controller (I noticed the same thing, restart one miner, and the whole 10-pack goes for restart).  Also I think you have to restart controller/miners to update pool (at least that's what I do locally using RasPi).

You are on point with each ten pack having it's own controller. Also just a fyi. I know I when the UI first came on line I went through and started restarting units showing red. Well because I didn't know ALL the units on the same controller would restart together and were not individually controlled I basically cue'd up a bunch of restarts on the same units. They emailed me and explained how it worked and it now makes much more sense and no problems.

We need am GAW Early customer appreciation club..    (Defined by anyone that purchased from GAW during their first month in business)

I feel they kind of do already internally Wink

I know that they overcompensated for the outages of the early customers and occasional misplaced shipment during initial rush.  Right now everything is smooth as butter.

Very nice UI , it does work as I tested it with different workers and servers and was great seeing them go down and up, the accepted and rejected columns in the UI today was an excellent addition.

Observations :
-I would like (nice to have) - a way to name/personalize each of my miners so I know which miner is down.
does miners come in the same sorted order always (ex. miner no. 6 is always miner 6)

-Can you sub-assign miners ? (what if I owned two 10 packs of miners, how to assign different worker names)

-Will there be an API key ?

Personal experience :
My experience with gawminers has been nothing but positive - they handled all my issues in top shelf manor - nothing but the best (superb communication and very rapid response to all my issues no matter how small it was).
I'm hoping they stay around for a very long time and I'm happy to know I now have a team who takes personal responsibility in making the customer and their issues a priority.

I dunno if this is typical support from them but I had a miss-communication issue in which I reached to them at 1am in the morning and they responded within 10 minutes of me creating the issue ticket (yeah even at 1am in the morning they did respond) - impressive to say the least.

I got 2 phone calls from them yesterday. One to let me know that they were hard restarting the miners and there would be a some down time and one to let me know they were back up. I am please to report that since they have come back up my hash rate is higher then it has been in the past and all my miners have been showing green in the UI Grin . Still can't say enough good about there customer service.

Also it looks like they updated the UI, It now includes accept/reject rates, errors and a third column called utility. The first 2 I understand but I am not sure what utility is showing?

HI,

Has anyone ordered a Blade yet?
Have the Blades shipped out yet?
Anyone receive a tracking number yet?
Anyone having theirs hosted right now?

thanks!

I have ordered one of the Blades from them and I am having them host it. According to their website it should be going live within the next 24-hours (4/8/2014). As far as when it goes up and how it works. I'll let you know. Wink So far, these guys have been great with the service. Smiley

Also ordered a Gridseed power supply from them before, had a little hiccup due to it being around the same time that everyone here spammed them with Gridseed orders; but Josh MORE than made up for it. These guys are awesome and take care of their customers. No matter how small the order is. Wink
