“Just Texas” is one of the companies he lists on LinkedIn. It’s all just a shell in a shell to hide his fraud.

Checking name changes in Texas. I got to think since everything is in her name, he has not legally changed his name. At the same time I don't know how operating an internet company with a fake name can be considered legal? Of course he could always say Jaden David are nicknames.

https://www.legalzoom.com/articles/how-to-do-a-name-change-in-texas

You're not filing with intent to defraud anyone or to avoid creditors
Your new name is not vulgar
Your name change is for a good reason, as granting the name change is at the discretion of the court
You haven't committed a felony
If you have committed a felony, you've either been pardoned or it's been two years since your release from prison or completion of probation

According to the Texas taxable entity search the HXO business no longer exists:

Loading...

The explanation for "franchise tax ended" is:

The entity's franchise tax responsibilities ended because the entity has ceased to exist in its state or country of formation or has ceased doing business in Texas.

I don't recall if it was still active a few days ago when it was first mentioned in this thread. I like the idea that Homero is in full panic mode and closing down his shell companies Smiley

That's true, even only 1000 users is a lot since half of that are not even getting service and still paying. The real question is this:

Through this scheme, GARZA defrauded hundreds of individuals around the world of a total of $9,182,000.  Judge Chatigny ordered GARZA to pay restitution in that amount

From the DOJ and below an article from the reformer:

He started a new business, said Garza's father-in-law, to find a way to pay back his victims and "Because of his strong faith and because it would make God happy. I believe with every fiber of my existence he is sincere ..." No one in court would name the new business or categorize it.

I think the Judge even heard about this and based his sentence on it that he had a "secret company" or some shit and had to be kept secret from the trolls. Have any of the victims received a single nickel from him at this time or are they all going to plastic surgery, leased jets and lamborghini?

Some other notes:

Pretty nice fucking house for an ex-con! Note the black metal winding staircase, same as in the photo of him from linkedin posted earlier here...

zillow stair:  https://ibb.co/JcK6bx3
linkedin stair: https://ibb.co/K9PFw8k

Sold on 05/27/21 Zestimate®: $1,094,700

So say 1 mil for the house and say max 1 mil to buy the existing internet company, have any of the victims seen even a nickel as directed by the court before these lavish purchases?

That house is incredibly tacky… makes sense. Looks like it sold for $750k in 2021… how do you have $750k in cash or in credit worthiness/poi straight out of prison?…. who do we get into investigate him? probation officer? Any ideas?… Still seeing tons of fresh complaints and new FB groups popping up like “former Nomad internet customers” - enough people that have been scammed sufficiently enough to join a damn Fb group about it. I know there have been tons of FCC and AG complaints, but getting in touch with someone familiar with the scumbag is probably best

I'm really thinking he's got a stash of BTC hidden away. I'm also thinking he bought that Nomad ISP based on this plus the BBB reviews were pretty good up until this year when he obviously came along. The Feds need to investigate where all of sudden he's flush with cash to buy this, have apps made, all that plastic surgery for her etc. etc.

Based on archive.org, the nomadinternet.com site exists since 2001, was dead from ~2008 and the supposed ownership change probably happened in ~ April of 2020 when the site design changed to the Homero style, which also coincides with his release from prison.

Not sure about the BTC stash. Obviously with the run up to $60k+ he would have needed only a few coins for some fancy cars etc. On the other hand, this nomad scam is likely very profitable in the short term. He's charging $100+ per month for something that costs him likely less than $40 and aside from the website and a few paid articles and probably some ads there doesn't seem to be any significant expense... so it's like $50 pure profit per "customer" per month. If he's got at least 1000 suckers (judging by the number of reviews - quite possible) he can live quite lavishly until the feds come knocking again.

They were great before they got greedy and decided to sell to ******** The way the merger happened was completely unprofessional, cutting services to all existing customers for WEEKS and offering no real support or resolution. Trying to get ahold of customer service was a joke and it took hours of my time to get a partial refund as I had paid for a full year and was still 5 months away from completing the year. I still did not get all my money back. Do not do business with this place, they are a joke and a complete scam. Dont just take my word for granted, check ******** check any other review site, all of us customers have experienced the worst customer service.

You can now find him going by “Jaden Garza” and scamming people at Nomad Internet. Just missed his big social media scrub (he knows, we know 🫣🤣) but the freshly edited business page Twitter is @ nomadwisp & the complaints are all over the internet! 👀

So 10/14/2020 was his date of release.  His supervised release is supposed to be 3 years after that.  Who the hell is supervising him?  He is not supposed to be running another company I would assume.  I forget what the sentencing papers said.  Looking them up.

Everything is just a fuck up. Even has apps all with 1 stars.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.shopney.everywhereinternet&hl=en_US&gl=US

How does that work 5 reviews in total 1 star each, yet he's managed to manipulate the ratings with non-existent 95 5 star reviews?

I think it shows only reviews for your country/language. So they might have bought some fake reviews from that guy in Rwanda or whatever, which don't show up by default.

By the way, this is a phenomenal tool. Punch in any user name and it searches all social media to see where being used.

Take his very unique youtube name: jadendavidgarza4372 and you can see he has been quite active. Most scrubbed now it seems.

Definitely him and his little urchin in the profile pic.

That’s awesome, thanks for the link. Luckily I wasn’t scammed out of big money, but I’ve lost enough money to Nomad that hasn’t been refunded & enough days of work because of their BS… so I’m bent on keeping tabs on Garza and making sure he can’t so easily take advantage of others. I see he has now changed the Twitter link on their emails to route to @nomadwisp… he is definitely doing his best to scrub anything where he linked himself to the business… no more “ceojaden” or “nomadjaden” etc… fuckin sleezeball

Wow!  Cheesy

Damn, that tattoo reminds me of the Time Magazine waiting room. Immediately I'm thinking its fake and the use and pose is to ensure the viewing public, that the ugly face of Homero is indeed this Jaden character. Anyone doing a cursory search of nomad before signing up is supposed to be assured that that is Jaden Garza.

At the same time I wouldn't be too surprised if he has gone to all that effort to change everything, but can a felon ex-con do that since all legal paper work is in his real name?

Fake as fake can be. Didn't his hashlets have something similar ticking away at every purchase or some other bullshit like that?

Put this here for any poor victims of his internet scam to see:

https://www.justice.gov/usao-ct/pr/former-virtual-currency-ceo-involved-9-million-fraud-scheme-sentenced-prison

John H. Durham, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that HOMERO JOSHUA GARZA, 33, of Texas, formerly of Somers, Connecticut, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Robert N. Chatigny in Hartford to 21 months of imprisonment, followed by three years of supervised release, the first six months of which GARZA must spend in home confinement, for his role in his companies’ purported generation and sale of virtual currency.

https://www.sec.gov/litigation/litreleases/2017/lr23960.htm

The Securities and Exchange Commission has obtained a final judgment against former Connecticut resident Homero Joshua Garza charged with conducting a fraudulent offering of unregistered securities and operating a Ponzi scheme.

The remarkable history of "Nomad Internet"

Oddly enough it sounds EXACTLY like his rural Vermont story and of course the article is written by none other than...

Along with a very nice bio of one "Jaden" Garza

I wonder if he's forced his children and his wife to call him Jaden now? How fucking awkward is that.  School events? "That's my daddy Josh um Jaden over there"
