GB Coin price trending? http://blog.gbcoinfoundation.org/gb-coin-price-increasing/

Quote
I think what we are seeing here is a trend that will help push the price of GB Coin higher and higher. Some of the smaller miners are selling their coins quickly (see the left pane in the above screenshot), however, investors (the right pane) are placing significant buy orders that will potentially “gobble up” the quantities from the smaller miners.

Yeah, once you start using the exchanges, you become somewhat exposed, but imagine running your own multi-pools with some very high-end hardware. And then transferring the coins to someone (a partner with residency) in a country exceptionally low tax rates.... well, you can imagine the possibilities from here.

Have a read of this:

It is no secret that our current difficulty solution is being exploited by the multipools to take the value of out Feathercoin mining. They use our solution against us to mine without moving the difficulty by much. Wrapper and Wellenreiter have spent a long time simulating our current problem and coming up with better solutions. What we have come down to is a much shorter retarget and the use of two averages compared to just the one.

Unfortunately, because Cryptos are now a serious emerging sector, you have to expect these kind of attacks/exploits more.

In fact, Cryptos are the near-perfect tax avoidance/evasion tool! So you can imagine this kind of stuff happening even more because of the potential high-reward.

Unfortunately it has been proven lately that bitcoin is more traceable that most of other payments.
That's why darkcoin project has been launched.
Unfortunately mining will be over before everybody gets a few coins. In the case of pos coins it's even more dangerous.
And hooping through mixers and having to trust them is a pain in the ass also.

Bitcoin and it's clones were from the start semi anonymous.
And that should be fixed soon Smiley

First workshop images: http://blog.gbcoinfoundation.org/first-workshop-images/

We held our first crypto workshop on Saturday 12th of April at the Avoncroft Arts Centre, Stoke Heath, Worcester. As it was our first workshop we didn’t expect too many people to attend so we invited some local six-formers from Droitwich High School.

In the workshop, Adrian covered mining while demonstrating a mining rig, while Dave covered wallets and the blockchain. As it was a little bit rushed, because we had only just launched GB Coin, we only took a few images – next time we’ll take many more.

Nice work, thanks for the pics!
