Do you know that port 3333 is open? Have you noticed that most pools have a port 80 option, among others, to test out if you can't connect on port 3333?
I think it's safe to say the USB stick is not the cause of your network issues, so you might consider checking for this kind of problem in the cgminer thread. I'm sure they've been asked and answered a hundred times in the half-dozen years the software's been in use.

Try a different pool. If you were attempting connection requests with an invalid address to ckpool he probably banned your IP.

I have same issue. Running on Ubuntu 16.04. Built cgminer as instructed. Tried telnet solo.ckpool.org 3333, and it works. Also tried slushpool with similar outcome. Have 3 BM1384, all produce same result. I would greatly appreciate any hint as I am running out of ideas.

go to post #1 "Run syntax" and do as described for Linux.
Figure out the logic of the command, where is the miner executable (in which folder), get to this folder using CLI, then issue the command as described in post #1.
Do you really want to mine to solo? Chances are you would get nothing vs maybe getting some satoshi's elsewhere.
Telnet is generally used to see if one can connect to an end point. End point being 'solo.ckpool.org 3333'. I did find that the bc address I provied is incorrect. Assuming that address is correct what else can I try?
Here is another attempt with correct address and debug options

I have the same message(bellow).... on windows on ubuntu with all drivers and on all pools .
The connection to the pool seems to work i have tried with telnet abut my devices are still not working. IS it possible that the gekko devices to have some issues?
Can someone suggest me other work around ?

Somehow, everything you said is wrong.
"on windows on ubuntu" makes no sense.
"the connection to the pool seems to work" is invalidated by the fact your error message is summarized as "you typed in the pool info wrong so it won't work".

I have the same message(bellow).... on windows on ubuntu with all drivers and on all pools .
The connection to the pool seems to work i have tried with telnet abut my devices are still not working. IS it possible that the gekko devices to have some issues?
Can someone suggest me other work around ?

What don't you show us some effort? What have you tried? What is not working for you. Your post shows no indication that you've attempted anything.

Build cgminer-4.10.0-windows-gekko from the first post, for some reason I can not download, the site writes "forbidden".

Where are you in the process that is outlined in the first post of this thread? It would help tremendously to know what you've done so far, what equipment you're using, etc.

I am new at this and at this stage I need advice, not sarcastic opinion. If you don't have an answer then just keep quiet

Can you give a little help for a newbie? I am wondering if I have a dodgy stick or I'm maybe doing something wrong....

I remember VH writing in the earlier pages to run the stick at 100Mhz (maybe even lower). That might readjust something... then once the sticks reset and run at 100Mhz, you can try at higher speeds. You should really get a multimeter and a usb safety so you can check ASIC voltage and how many volts and amps the sticks are needing. It makes tweaking more accurate.
sidehack also said a few pages advice about running multiple sticks and some of the challenges running multiple sticks can cause.
