As far as I know you don't need zadig for bfgminer. Just cgminer. Check on the BFGminer thread and re-check the beginning of this thread.
i read somewhere that i could use bfg

Yes you can but I don't think you need zadig for BFGminer. Zadig was only needed for Cgminer.
thanks

If they don't tell you why would you even trust them?

What else are they capable of if they don't help you to mine their coins ?

what is this "brake pedal" you speak of?
reading this ENTIRE thread helps. not being sarcastic, its a chore i know, but the wealth of knowledge of many many compac users is in here.

no offense intended but people seem to have to mention this a lot in this thread. my turn this time.

hello there,
i would give anyone 0.05 btc to setup for me GekkoScience Compac BM1384 Stickminer
to mine hidecoin https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annxhd-hidecoin-official-thread-double-sha-256-nodejs-1689471

https://hidecoin.info/

send me PM if you want, could use teamviewer to setup

what you have to do is mine on the wallet with bfgminer with stratnum proxy.

cgminer probably wont work in this.

Ooh La La, C'est Zoom!
If you are looking for a decent powered USB hub for Compac stick miners, I posted this on another thread in this sub-forum:

Superbpag 7-port
https://www.amazon.com/Superbpag-Portable-Charger-Transfer-Samsung/dp/B013OK10YM

USPS says it is out for delivery.

Edit: It's arrived. It's solid USB hub with a built-in power supply. No issues with running the Compac at 325MHz. The other hub ran at that speed, but wasn't too happy about it.

And this is what my setup looks like:

It's been stable since I installed it and started running the Compac (voltage adjusted to 0.800, frequency at 325 MHz, 17.8± ghs). Current cgminer instance running on my Mac Mini has been up since 29-November.

Bitcoin FTW!
That actually makes me think, you wouldn't get temperature data since it uses different data lines but I bet you could drive an S5 board with a USB/UART adapter using vh's new code. That's basically what the stick is, is a 2-chip version of an S5 board.

Well, they did it back in 14 for the S1 and S3, wouldn't be surprised if this would work. With enough effort S7 boards probably might be able to as well. Pretty interesting stuff.

Well that is slightly easier than altering the /etc/rc.local file every time and rebooting.
Um, ja... Back when I ran my 10GHs BFL cubes I tried using cgminer and for the life of me could not get the hang of it. BFGminer was plug-and-play with a CLI. I do believe there are some 3rd-party GUI programs for it as well.

Thanks for the info. I'll install it onto my Pi alongside cgminer gekko rev2  then I can have a choice of what to run my compacs on.

Well I *do* have one more s5 if you need one to play with...
