Even though these religions have prohibited gambling, men and women still gamble, and many are addicted to gambling.
If this is the case, it is contrary to the purpose of gambling, where gambling is only to have fun.
And all of that can be overcome if gamblers, men and women, have self-control and self-discipline so they will not use gambling to make money.
If we refer to the research, it may be true that women are more interested in percentage-odds-based games while men are more interested in skill-based games.
But for the real answer, we will never know because that means we have to research gambling in all countries, both those that prohibit and allow gambling.

       -   There are other religions that do not prohibit gambling, such as Buddhism, Hinduism, and others. This means that in these countries that I have mentioned, the religions do not say that it is forbidden to gamble, whether it is a woman or a man, nor is it mentioned whether even a child can gamble too.

But there are other religious countries that oppose gambling, such as Islam, Christianity, and others. Because for me, there seems to be no difference between women and men; if only there were when it comes to self-discipline and self-control, this is the only part where I see the difference between them.

Gambling knows no gender. It doesn't matter whether if you are a man or woman, or if you have different gender orientation. If you want to gamble, do so. Just remember to do it responsibly and moderately. Discipline will play a big role in someone's gambling journey. Having a positive effect or a negative one will manifest depending on how you play and if you abide with the boundaries that you have set for yourself. If you won't be a calculated gambler, and rather be an impulsive one, regardless of whatever gender you have in the spectrum, the chances of losing will be high. This is because betting and playing with analyzation is still much better to be combined with skills you possess and luck altogether for higher probability of winning.

Additionally, if you will be a risky one that will just play based on what your guts tells you and if you will be controlled with your gambling urges, the chances of you being addicted and dependent with it will be high too.

Both men and women, regardless of societal lens, have recreational pursuits. It's human nature. Gambling, as an entertainment form, shouldn't be the yardstick to measure someone's moral compass, especially when seen through a gendered lens. Men, women - it doesn’t matter; everyone deserves autonomy in their choices. But here's a thing to note: Gambling, while a form of entertainment, can have serious consequences if not approached responsibly. Research & studies show the negative impacts of unchecked gambling on mental health, finances, and social relationships. It's not about who does it - man or woman. It's about how it's done. Responsibly, within limits. I'd urge everyone to educate themselves, understand the stakes, and act wisely. After all, informed choices pave the path to balanced living. Wouldn't you agree?

         -    In this regard, I also agree with what you said, mate. It is true that often women, when they know that they are winners,  quickly decide to stop playing immediately, unlike men, who, the more they enjoy winning, are more and more determined to play gambling because they think that they will never lose. In short, the savage has entered, usually the men.

Compared to women, I rarely see greed enter their minds. And like you said, women can control their emotions more easily when it comes to situations where they need to stop or not.

They are winning already. Vanessa Selbst has won $12 million during her poker her poker career. Liv Boeree - almost $4 million. Maria Lampropoulos - almost $3 million. There are many others like Maria Ho, Vanessa Rousso ... There are so many of them women winning big money in poker that I mentioned only very famous(in my opinion) ones. Let us not take this discussion to a different direction right now,  because from the last few comments,  it seems to me that there is some level of misinterpreted concept which points to portray a picture of making the topic look as if we are talking about gender inequality between male and female.

Meanwhile our main focus on the discussion is on men vs women involvement in gambling,  which has been a topic that we have discussed recently on several threads on Redits too so it means that this topic is gradually gaining attention and there is a reason for that.

Gender inequality and kind of criticism is never been new into this wicked world on which men would be always having the impression that women should really be that good in staying up the house and washing dishes and take care of our kids. and shouldn't really be that be able to go into those places on where men do stay and hang out but those kind of behavior and belief was already that ancient. We know that women nowadays could really do things on what men could do and having those kind of impressions are long time gone already and its been proven out already that women could do things on what men can do.

There is equal right to women gamblers such as men too. This is gender equality and we should not see it from a different angle. If a man or a male can boldly go and bet and make money for themselves, likewise women too can do the same and have a good time with themselves trying there luck. This is more about freedom and we need to make sure we don't segregate things here and leave a bigger part for male to benefit from. I know so many female gamblers from my region and they do that without any fear of what the society thinks about them because they also have the full backup and liberty to go for what they like doing.

I go with that last part as women is more emotional than men, they don't want to risk as they know that if ever things turned into worse the chance that they might collapse or maybe they might be overthink and be depress unable to cope up with the money that they spent and lost during their gambling sessions.

Women are more on the positive side of life not more will be willing to take the big risk and gamble with their fate, they've got an organize mindset which mostly focuses on family needs.

I agree to that on which women are really that very skeptical or really that in hindrance on whatever things that involves money or basically be spending it up on something which whether they would be seeing for it to be worth or not. They would rather prefer on spending money with beauty products rather than on losing it on gambling but since there are still women who do gamble for such leisure thing then its true that they are really that more better when it comes to control compared to men but we know that this one involves luck and this is something that cant really be altered out or would really be influenced whatever the gender it would be having.

There is really that always that gender discrimination and this is something that very common or usual on this community which men would really be looking down on women.
They would be always having that kind of impression that they shouldn't really be involving on things on which it is really just that good for men which there's nothing
we can do on changing up that kind of thinking or mindset.

I guess this opinion makes sense that is why there are also lots of well-known women gamblers in history. They've won not because o their gender or dominance in the game brought by their intimidation towards their opponents but y their discipline in playing the game. For every game that they've entered, they are the ones in control.

Most women don't like gambling because they have a low tolerance for it. They value more the security of their money rather than risking it and have the probability of losing. They cannot take such big risk, when they do- they are very conservative.

Female don't like gambling because they always think other wise in anything concerning money, it's rall and hard before you see any person who is into gambling, the men like gambling because they feel that they are meant to catter for the family they find themselves, so the kind of risk man takes woman can not take such mistakes because of they know that most of them depends on Female gender from my understanding, secondly what discouraged female in gambling is that they cannot hold their feelings when they lose.

Now, about your wife and friends feeling embarrassed, let me tell you: thats a societal issue, a mechanism of control. Its a way society pressures us to conform. You're right about the language; it can be toxic. The term addict gets thrown around like its nothing. But get this, gambling, like drinking or eating, has a healthy limit. In online casinos especially on a crypto basis we cannot know the gender percentage between men and women because there is no way to determine if the gambling account belongs to a man or a woman.
I think there are no gender differences in gambling because gambling is a choice and there are no regulations relating to gender differences.

All religions have quite strict regulations in fact I am sure that all religions will never condone gambling activities and there will definitely be prohibitions against gambling.
But what you say is true is that not everyone will truly obey religious rules whether they are women or men because there will always be people who break the rules.

But it could be that with technological advances like now, where there are many fiat and crypto-based online casinos, women want to try gambling. Even in the casino's that I have been playing, I have seen women as well playing a lot like their counterpart and they are winning big as well.

Women who Actually have these prejudices always show no security, and that is not the idea, they need to have their Security , if they feel good in a casino then they Should have fun in the Casino , no Matter what they Do.

With the rise of female gamers, females who are earning their own money, definitely there will be a lot more females who will associate with gambling.

But the reason why I think the casinos are not involving themselves too much with women population is because it is sometimes which is actually very problematic. A man understands what will happen when he puts his money on the line for gambling. Either they get the money back with a little something more or they lose the money. But they are never going to cry about it. The problem with women is that they do not take accountability. All it takes is for one woman to make a stupid video with her iPhone that she got scammed in a gambling situation or casino, and the casino is definitely going to face a lot of backlash.
