Well, this is new and with this development in a new country we are hoping that other country will follow too. Last time I heard Samsung is accepting bitcoin, happy to see that more companies and countries are accepting it. This will help the bitcoin price to rise because of its wide acceptance across companies and countries.

The German finance ministry proclaimed Bitcoin as an unit of account and it could be used to pay tax and purchase goods. The government doesn't interfere in the citizens private choice of money they says that the government should not interfere in the success of the citizens in a free country like Germany . As the popularity of Bitcoin increases the attraction towards Bitcoin also is attracted by financial institutions  .The German government will not tax the users of Bitcoin for using cryptocurrency as a means of payment.
The German are wisely using this system in order to maximize the use of this chain, more countries like them will follow after realizing the benefits, this news are spreading  around and if we keep it readable by newbies possibly they can be attracted and start to follow and used this crypto currency on it's real used, they should be followed by more  institutions and government around the world

Germans like Bitcoin. Due to the difficulty in creating Bitcoin, it is time-consuming and limiting, and inflation is not possible. Bitcoin networks are also governed by rules, rather than banks.

We have already seen US,China and Russia trying to ban bitcoin. But then they realised that it's impossible to do so unless internet gets banned. So they changed their view about almost all cryptos. And now,Germany an economically grown country has accepted bitcoin as a legal tender. If I'm not wrong, japan was the first economic power to legalize bitcoin. Now most countries have started to realise that instead of opposing cryptos blindly,it would be wise to regulate it and generate tax income.

unfortunately the link you linked to the interference and and it can not be accessed.
but this is good news for Bitcoin's price increase, because I believe Germany is a big country with strong finances.

if a large country is open to adopting Bitcoin, then why does a small country not accept Bitcoin?

This is not the latest news. Germany recognized bitcoin a legal tender a few months ago. More specifically, the decision was signed by the Minister of Finance on February 27. And making payments will be possible not earlier than in 2020.

You do not think that everything is so smooth. So Germany has found a way to legalize bitcoin in its benefits. So they came up with a way to track transactions and track down scammers. Maybe they just want this action to increase the state of their economy, more tourists will have miners and other crypto currency holders.

A great and heartwarming news from one of the Super power countries. This is enough for the doubters to know that there is absolutely nothing shady about bitcoin as more developed countries are embracing it. If any country is still thinking otherwise, such country is doomed to find itself far behind in the nearest future.

Wow this is simply amazing news.  I have said it before but I think the governments and bankers wanted Bitcoin all along and most likley created it themselves.  If you see more and more countries doing this then you know Bitcoin was the chosen one.  Get in early!

I am from Russia and I very much hope that our government will do the same in the near future. Now they are wary of cryptocurrencies because of their high volatility. But when they finally understand all the advantages of cryptocurrency, I hope it will come into use. The main thing that the regulation was not very strict.

Germany is a strict country. If they are open to the special currency, many European countries will support bitcoin.

Welcome to February 2018. You are a bit slow there, mate.

Virtual currencies (cryptocurrencies, e.g., Bitcoin) become the equivalent to legal means of payment, insofar as these so-called virtual currencies of those involved in the transaction as an alternative contractual and immediate means of payment have been accepted.

Somewhat ironic, the video you shared is from 2013.

Damn it, looks like no-one even noticed your reply, since everybody is just repeating the same crap over and over again.
I can't even view the video, but I wasn't able to find any recent news articles that mention this 'news'.

Found this one from a year ago:

Really OP, do some research before posting outdated stories like this.

On a side note: they should just outright ban everybody who replied to this thread without doing the most basic of research.
You guys just show that you're only in it to increase your post count.

Yeah. It is great that the trend of nations is evaluating bitcoin and crypto more positively. Maybe I missed this party. I realized information about Malta, the dynamics of Mastercard. And maybe we will have an early moon in Q3. Cheesy

If this is actually true, then it is very good for cryptocurrencies. Let every other country also follow suit so that cryptocurrencies will reach a more greater audience.
