Pauli started the season very well. But towards the end of the season, they had a very bad rhythm. Which is why they failed to rise to the top of the points table. However, with Werder Bremen and Schalke is out of the second Bundesliga next season, Pauli and Darmstadt will have the advantage of being at the top of the points table. I think Pauli will try to strengthen themselves next season and have a consistent performance.

I cannot say that their season was 100% successful because they had a good chance of getting promoted in my opinion. I believe they will be able to do well with the squad that they have but for a promotion, I also agree that some changes need to be made in the squad. In the next season, I see them as potential candidates to be promoted because the competition is going to be a little less because Werder Bremen is not in the 2nd Bundesliga.

I honestly believe that the teams that have been relegated did not deserve to be or to stay in the Bundesliga next season. They have played very badly and they obviously need to prove themselves again in the second Bundesliga the next season. But even though Hertha was in the relegation zone I am actually quite impressed that they have been able to play in the Bundesliga for 5 years straight now. They have shown good performance against Hamburger to stay in the Bundesliga again. I cannot say that it was very deserving for them but I honestly think Hamburger had a really good chance that they blew.

That is exactly how I see it too. There are great teams again this year and it will certainly be exciting to see which teams will fight for promotion and which will fight against relegation. The match schedules for next season will be published at 17th of June.

It's definitely nice to see Kaiserlautern back in the 2nd league. On the other hand a pity that Dresden has to go, it's also a club with tradition and many fans, but then again without a single win this year, so they have definitely not earned to remain in the 2nd league... It would have been pretty funny actually if the game had ended 0-0 and Dresden won after penalites 
So this was the last game in the german professional leagues, summer break is coming

Hannover,Kaiserslautern,St.Pauli,Düsseldorf,Nürnberg,Hamburger SV,Magdeburg,Braunschweig.
they're all teams with lots of fans. it's bound to be a fantastic and exciting season.
even if bremen and schalke are missing, there will be many interesting duels. i'm looking forward to july 15 when the season starts again 

after 4 years in the 3. liga we finally see the traditional club back in the 2. bundesliga
dynamo dresden on the other hand has been relegated to the 3. liga after only one season and in this calendar year still without a win

St. Pauli has to build a new team. Some important players are leaving. For example, Finn Ole Becker. They have to find a good replacement. The 2022/2022 season was a very successful season. I am not sure if they can do it again in the new season.

I am actually really hopeful about St Pauli next season to be able to get promoted to the Bundesliga. Because they have certainly shown good performance in this season. They did lose their way in the letter part of the season but I believe overall their performance was quite impressive. Darmstadt is also up there in terms of performance and expectancy. Nürnberg, I am not most excited about but they can also put up a good fight against better teams.

the season is now over. Schalke and Bremen leave the 2.bundesliga. bielefeld and fürth join from the 1.bundesliga.
and Magdeburg and Braunschweig join from the 3.bundesliga. and the winner of the Kaiserslautern vs. Dresden match.
but who is the favortit 2022/2023 ? I think HSV will play a good role. and also St. Pauli and Nürnberg.
the season starts on 15 juli 2022. until then, some clubs will still present new players.

I was just checking the past years of the 2nd/3rd league relegation matches. Here some statistics that might be interesting for tonight's game:
- The team from the 2nd league was only able to win 4 out of 13 times in the past. Interestingly this is the opposite than in the relegation from 1st to 2nd league (advantage Kaiserslautern)
- Dresden already has been twice in the relegation matches, once coming from the 2nd league, once from the 3rd league, both times they won the duel (advantage Dresden)
- When the first leg ended 0-0 (happened 2 times so far) then always the 2nd league team won (advantage Dresden)
- They were three more matches where the first leg ended with a draw (that wasn't a 0-0), in those cases always the 3rd league team won (advantage Kaiserlautern)

so let's see which series will break tonight

I doubt if playing at home for Dresden will make them win the game against Kaiserslautern in the second leg of the encounter today, Dresden has not been in good form and playing against a stubborn team like Kaiserslautern, you need to be physically feet to face them.
Judging by their performance, I think the game will end in a goalless draw or 0:1 in favour of Kaiserslautern or possibly in a penalty,  we are expecting to see a very strong game today.

Dresden vs Kaiserslautern and actually Dresden have the benefit because playing at their home ground but i highly doubt they can win the match because Dresden had poor performance even since December they never win until now and regarding this match i assuming both of teams have equal chance to became the winner and not impossible for them to playing carefully because each teams do not want to conceded goals early but i have thoughts the match will be ended draw at normal time and for bet option i would like to pick draw

I have a strong feeling that this match will go into the penalties shoot out, because both teams lacked the firepower in front of the goal during their last encounter and I don’t expect much change from them. Furthermore at this point it’s very difficult to chose a favourite side, and therefore if anyone is wagering right from the start how are you selecting which team to wager on as both teams are looking equal to me?.

The game is now pretty much open, the odds for winning the duel are Dresden 1.72, Kaiserlautern 2.05.

I expect the game to go similar to the Hamburg vs Hertha game, the first goal could decide this game. There is no tempting bet here in my opinion. We might see a very nervous game with either a lucky punch or even going into penalties.

Hamburger SV deserved to lose. They didn't do enough to win. It is a pity for the Hamburg fans. I am curious to see if Tim Walter will continue as coach. I would not like it if there was another new coach and another change in the team. They should continue to work together.

i think tonight the first 15 minutes will be very interesting. hertha bsc berlin will try to score a very early goal.
then everything is open again. if hamburg manages not to score a goal in the first minutes it will be damn hard for berlin.
i will turn on the tv again tonight at 10:25 pm. then i hope that everything is over and hsv will play in the 1.bundesliga next season.

hsv will continue to play in the 2.bundesliga next season. they lost the second relegation match against hertha bsc berlin with 0.2.

That is what I think Hamburger may do with Hertha tomorrow, this is an interesting game in my opinion, is there a way for Hertha to come back from the 1st game lost, or this will be the end for Hertha, I think this will also challenge Hertha's determination in winning if they can really win against Hamburg with those injuries and their best goaler is in a pinch of getting suspended, this can surely determine if Hertha can beat those obstacles, but for me, given all the comparison for this teams, in terms, of their injuries, risk of suspension of players, and team statistics I really think that Hamburger SV has the highest possibility in winning this game,


They don't have the strength and will to win a game at all it is hard to force a win against Hamburger SV because 1st Hamburg doesn't have any problems with injuries, although there are some it is not their name player, as long as they have an intact main player they can win this, 2nd comparing players that have most goals on Hamburger SV  and players that have most goals on Hertha, pretty much Hamburger SV had amazing players, and 3rd they have gradually won 16 games in the 2nd Bundesliga while Hertha got only 9 wins So comparing this we can surely who has the high capability of winning, but this is Bundesliga so anything can happen,

as I mentioned it is indeed difficult for Hertha even with their full strength in the first leg it has been difficult and now they are lacking a lot of players there, of course it will be more difficult and the chances for them to win are getting slimmer in this case.
