Union Berlin that I thought they will make the competition tough and not give Bayern Munich a breathing space could not continue with a hard game, and now I thought Dortmund will do the same having the same point with Bayern Munich but they missed having a three point that would have made them to still have the same point with Bayern Munich.
Indeed, when the three teams had won the same number of points, I had thought that Union Berlin would be a destroyer of the competition between Munich and Dortmund in the standings. But unfortunately they played very badly in 5 bundesliga matches and only won 1 win, 3 draws and 1 defeat which made them currently unable to compete again with the two top bundesliga teams.I had very high expectations from the Union Berlin team this season. Expect the Union Berlin team to continue their fight against Bayern Munich for the title this season. And Bayern Munich's dominance in the Bundesliga will end. But this is not happening. Bayern Munich is once again dominating the Bundesliga as in previous seasons. And Union Berlin is now far behind. Union Berlin's chances of qualifying for the Champions League also seem slim to me.
Now the gap between Bayern Munich and Dortmund is only 2 points. If Dortmund's performance improves, Dortmund may continue to fight for the title. But I think the Bayern Munich team will be the champion this season like in previous seasons.

But their performance in this match was poor. They dominated the match, attacking a lot. But did not keep their defense strong. In the past matches we have seen Dortmund attack less but their overall gameplay has been stable. But even though Dortmund attacked a lot in this match, their gameplay was not stable.
In attack Dortmund played very well, but in defense they again make mistakes. I will say that Schalke were also good in this match, they were very active and it was obvious that they wanted to level the score with all their might, in the end they succeeded.Schalke have fallen too low in the table, they need to get out of there, and they have the potential to do so. Bayern are back in the lead, while Union Berlin, which until recently pushed Bayern out of first place, is already 7 points behind Bayern.
I noticed that Union Berlin have very good results when they play only in one tournament, but as soon as games in European cups are added, the results immediately deteriorate, perhaps the players simply do not have time to have a good rest.
I watched Dortmund's performance in the previous few matches against Schalke. Although they attacked very rarely, each of their attacks was organized. And their defense was solid. In the 5 matches prior to this match, Dortmund conceded only 4 goals, while they scored 14. Dortmund would not have dropped points if the defense had been strong against Schalke.

Its a shame and i am really disappointed from Dortmund a bit.And also Union Berlin against Wolfsburg played a draw and they all have played again for Bayern munich.
Hopefully this lost points for Dortmund and Union Berlin will be not missed for them laters when the season gets to the end.
Next week it would be interesting when Munich is playing in Leverkusen.

no one expected schalke to be able to score 2 goals against dortmund when dortmund was in their best form, haller and bellingham were not even able to do much. the match between union berlin vs wolfsburg was quite fierce, this draw made union berlin and wolfsburg's position in the standings unchanged.

This season turned out to be very competitive. Union Berlin topped the table from the start of the season. But the team miserably lost the truck. And now it is challenging for them to qualify for the Champions League.
We thought that even if the Union Berlin team fell behind, Dortmund would continue to fight for the title with Bayern Munich. But Dortmund lost points against Schalke. Bayern Munich has once again taken the top spot in the points table.

Dortmund policy is really affecting them, how can a club sell their best players and expect to perform very well and to win the league. I don't see Dortmund good enough to the Bundesliga league this season. Dortmund have the habit of selling their best players and don't make plans of winning trophies.

Schalke is really bad this season compared to Dortmund but yesterday's derby match will always be a difficult match for both teams including Dortmund even though they are in a better position than Schalke and it has proven so when Dortmund can only get a draw it is not surprising, only of course it provides additional disadvantage for Dortmund because the competition to pass Bayern positions will be increasingly difficult.

Union Berlin's poor form still continues. This was their fourth game in a row that they lost points in the league. Their most recent game was against Wolfsburg away though. That's something to be chuffed about! Who knows, they might just pull a rabbit out of a hat and mount a late-season comeback to win the league title. But let's face it, they've hit a rough patch, losing points in four consecutive league games. That's like misplacing your keys four days in a row! Maybe a rabbit's foot or a lucky penny could help them turn things around!But their job about keeping themselves in top four will not be easy at all. We can't really blame them for their struggles. As Mourinho said in an interview now he is jealous of Bayern because when Nagelsmann needs to bring on three new players, those players are called Gnabry, Sané and Mané. Mourinho added he would be happy to even have only one of those three guys!
Now Union Berlin isn't used to that pace although Bayern doesn't even play the best of the best right now. But if even Dortmund isn't able to keep pace, how should Union Berlin then be able to? Now it is only a question of time for Bayern to win the championship again and it is once more because their strongest contenders are losing games against weak teams.
