Bayer Leverkusen have been extremely incredible this season, though they're no longer unbeaten after their shocking defeats to RB Leipzig, then I know Xabi Alonso game strategy have weaknesses and it's been mainly spotted out by their visitors. Bayer Leverkusen are still in the title race this season because winning comes first and we totally understand the long competitive run for these clubs. On the other hand, Bayern Munich drawing points with the visitors at Allianz Arena definitely mean something for Vicent Kompany, does it? I would say this season have been a smooth run for Vincent Kompany as Bavarians headcoach, many thought he will slacked back when it comes to performances and taking the major managerial role in AllianzArena, what happen to him currently?

Bayern Munich will win the Bundesliga, that's my thoughts and view, they just have to maintain the competitive consistent run in the Bundesliga. As for the coach, he's not relenting, a very busy man towards elevating the club to his standards and we all have watch the rapid improvement of the club when it comes to performance against oppositions. All Vincent Kompany needs is more time to make sure he's coping with the current system though it's main challenge for him, why is he here if not for overcoming these challenges?

If we look at the statistics of the match, we can all see how Leverkusen was crushed. Leverkusen had only three shots in 90 minutes and scored one goal. If we look at the ball possession rate, they only had a ball possession rate of 30%, which is usually seen in second-class teams. I expected them to compete head-to-head with Bayern Munich. This match showed that Bayer Leverkusen will not be the champion this year. Bayern Munich will not leave any team alone on the way to the championship with this game. A fair result for both teams, at least Kompany has proven his quality as a reliable manager and is worthy of handling a club as big as Munich.

You are right, This match was dramatic from the start. But I will say that in this match I saw the results as I expected. I expected the match to be a draw. And the match was drawn 1-1.

This season Bayern Munich team is stronger than Leverkusen and also in better form. And Xabi Alonso understands this well. And that's why Xabi Alonso took a risk against Bayern Munich. Leverkusen's players played defensively from the start of the match. On the other hand, Bayern Munich naturally played attacking strategy. The match between Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen was full of drama and tension. From the very first minutes, both teams showed determination with dangerous attacks and solid defense. Bayer Leverkusen last season was undoubtedly the best team in the German Bundesliga but considering how improved Bayern Munich have been since the start of the new season, I wasn't expecting Xabi Alonso's men to get a result against the current league leaders but the reigning champions was able to defile all odds by delivering a resisting performance that saw them leave Allianz Arena with a draw. For anyone who's actually written off Bayer Leverkusen from retaining the league title this season, I think this result will give them a reason to reevaluate.

As a home team, Bayern Munich didn't relent in making sure they are able to hold their visitor Leverkusen to a draw but in the other hand, Leverkusen tried so well to keep Munich drawing against them meanwhile it felt like Munich were going to win due to the pressure they exerted from their end. After all kompany wasn't a bad coach,he's almost beating expectations,many before now taught he was going to struggle against Leverkusen been their biggest German rival after having probably easy opponents all the while, it's been a good season for kompany and Munich so far.

Leverkusen does not have a solid defense, they conceded 10 goals in 5 games and when we look at the 5 games we realize that they conceded a goal in each game, so this is not a solid defense. What happened in the game against Bayern is that they were lucky that Bayern did not have a more effective attack. But this result is not bad for Bayern who are still at the top of the table, even if they are only 3 points ahead, what Bayern need is to keep winning games and have a good defense, because Leverkusen can lose points in the following games because they are not as strong as last season.

In a difficult place, with a less impressive game, Leverkusen was still able to bring home 1 point. In my opinion, it was a strategy to dampen Bayern Munich attack line which was in top form. True, at first glance Leverkusen looked like they were playing to get a draw at the Allianz Arena, and they managed to do so. For Kompany, failing to get full points was a loss, because they should have been able to take advantage of the home game better. In the future, Kompany must try to experiment, so that his squad is able to create more creativity when facing a team that has a solid defense. i have to say that I expected some more resistance from Leverkusen. Now I still went with a draw in the German Bundesliga prediction pool, but to be honest Leverkusen didn't deserve it. It was such a one-sided game. The passes completed. Sure against Bayern in the Allianz Arena, you can never expect to be on eye-level with them in terms of ball possession, but this is quite a bit too passive for Leverkusen. I know that they prefer to play counter attacks in these games against teams that love ball possession, but they are still Leverkusen and can maintain the ball within their own lines and play smart passes between the lines. This looks more like they used any opportunity to hoof the ball out of their own half of the pitch. That's very uncommon for them and they can be pretty happy about that one point.

It was a very tough game for both teams, Leverkusen did came with lots of pressure knowing fully that any slacking will be used against them and lose all three points. The result came out in a very good sense, both teams had to share points instead of giving the other 3 points to nothing and this has kept Munich as the lead and brought Leverkusen to the third position on the table.

It seems that Bayer Leverkusen is also only targeting a draw because after all, Bayer Leverkusen can still play with a good effort at half time until Bayer Leverkusen also managed to make the first.
