Who's coming for the big titles this season? Definitely not Leverkusen because they're weigh out of form and struggling to win current games. What's happening for Bayer Leverkusen this season? They recorded defeat this season and sitting 4th position on the Bundesliga table and you expects that to be an epic stats for the club? Xabi Alonso have alot of work to reinforce this season because his team is absolutely another version we anticipated it to be this season. There's precisely huge difference this season and this have become a major concern of the club's board and the supporters, showing off their frowning faces.
They had players who wanted to leave but the club tried so hard to commit them to play for one more season, Jonathan Tah was one of these names who wanted to leave to clubs like Barcelona and Bayern Munich. Let's say they can stay in the top four all throughout the season but winning the Bundesliga is not something I see them doing. It could finally be that season for Harry Kane to win silverwares and a trophy in his career.  Xabi Alonso has also been linked to leave for Real Madrid.
At the beginning of this season it was already clear that Leverkusen was not like last season anymore so of course their percentage to be able to defend the title was very small.
What happened last season was a surprise for the Leverkusen team without being able to repeat it or defend it.
And if seen as a whole of course Bayern is much stronger this season after making many changes to cover this season making this team stronger and if this can continue to be maintained then it is very likely that they will be able to win the Bundesliga title again.

The defeat was indeed a huge defeat they never expected, the revenge Barcelona did on them was above my expectations, but it was a big achievement for Hensi Flick as Barcelona's Manger, and it was a set back for Bayern Munich in the Champions League campaign, and that defeat has reduced Bayern Munich's hope in the Champions League, that is why they came back to focus fully on the Bundesliga.

The high goal scoring ratio will be back soon because I am very sure that Harry Kane will want to make sure he win the top scorer of the Bundesliga again this season. I am expecting Kompany's side to keep improving and to keep given huge points gap in the Bundesliga because currently, they are leading the table with five points difference ahead of Leipzig, and Nine points difference ahead of the defending champions Leverkusen.

IMO, I have a different view, I don't see Bayer playing badly when they met Barcelona in the Champions League. In that match Barca played well as well as Munich, but unfortunately Flick is much more experienced and knows very well how to handle Bayern Munich so that Barcelona can beat them. which we can interpret, Bayern Munich lost tactically to Barcelona. talking about Bayern Munich's matches in the Champions League, especially in the two matches with defeats, the real obstacle is that sometimes Munich has difficulty creating every opportunity to score goals. In the match against Aston Villa, Vincent Kompany's team had many opportunities, but none of them were converted into goals. apart from their two defeats, Bayern Munich actually still has a chance to qualify for the next round. on condition that they win the remaining matches. by the way, I doubt that a club as big as Bayern Munich will choose to focus more on the Bundesliga. because, they still have a chance to enter the next round. but let's assume that Bayern only focuses on the Bundesliga, if that is the case, then Kompany's work will not be too burdened. In addition, Bayern Munich does not have a tight schedule and they can focus only on the Bundesliga or even the DFB Fokal competition as well. Well, as we know, Bayern Munich is currently leading the table even though the points difference is not too obvious. My guess is that they will likely remain leading the Bundesliga table for quite a long time.

I don’t think Bayer Leverkusen can get the title of the Champions League; they will just try their best for now, so it will be a double loss for them. They will lose both the Champions League and Bundesliga titles because this season is filled with competition and challenges from various angles, and most especially in the Champions League, you must have experience, not only performance, and there are better teams that can make it to the trophy, not Bayer Leverkusen, so to me, I think we should not even have higher expectations for Bayer Leverkusen because they will not make it as we expected.
The champions League is never a target for Bayer Leverkusen, rather just trying to gather the best experience that can get should be the best Leverkusen can think of really doing at this point because they see that their performance isn't up to the level that will get them a decent finish at the champions League so obviously the trophy is very far away from them but what I know they can do would be trying to finish top four in their domestic league and having another attempt att he champions League that time they will be returning with experience.
I think there is no club that does not target the title in the Champions League, all clubs that fight in this tournament definitely want it, only their chances of getting it are quite small because the competition in the UCL is very difficult. Leverkusen may not get the UCL title because their experience is not that much there, but no matter how difficult it is, Leverkusen will try until the last drop of blood to be at a good level, whether until the quarter-finals or semifinals and for the Bundesliga they will try to finish in the top 4.

You are correct Bayer Leverkusen winning Champions League is unlikely now. More realistic goal is finishing top four in their league which would get them back into Champions League next season. With focusing on their league and gaining experience Leverkusen can strengthen their team and improve their tactics in Europe. Finishing top four and returning to the Champions League with experience is smart goal for Leverkusen. This will help them grow and possibly do better in competition next time.

Leverkusen is not as I expected before I still believe xabi alonso's troops can compete again like last season and also be able to defend the bundesliga title but the current condition does not reflect all that, at the same time bayern muncih is back on the right track with kompany his performance is extraordinary. I hope munich can maintain this positive trend in the long term, I want to see kane get a title for the first time at least before he retires there is a title that has been won.

It's impossible to expect Leverkusen to repeat their performance from the previous season, they were very lucky to win the league last season, and Bayern Munich was not in top shape. When Bayern Munich recruited many players to improve their performance, I believe Leverkusen will face difficult challenges in the league this season, they are currently in fourth place, and they only earned 17 points from the ten league games they have played. Xabi Alonso and his team appear confused this season; their performance is inconsistent; they can win one match and lose the next, and they were also beaten in their first home league game of the season.

However, Kane has not won a trophy in his career, this season could be his chance to win a trophy with Bayern Munich and his first professional title. It would be very exciting if he could lift a trophy. Many people claimed that Kane's poor luck was the reason Bayern Munich didn't win the trophy they usually did the previous season. Since Bayern Munich is leading the league, let's see if he can end the curse this season and take home the league title.

A lot of expectations were put on Bayer Leverkusen this season due to their performance we witnessed last season, but last season was not this season in which a lot of teams have tightened their belts to be more serious just not to lose against the upcoming teams, so having hope that Xavi Alonso will still have something to do to make it to the title of Bundesliga this season is something that will be a miracle; if not, I don’t think it will be an easy task for him.

Although you have mentioned that they are now 4th in the table, which they played a total of 10 games already, and they won 4, lost 1, and drew 5, last season they didn’t lose any game; it’s either a draw or a win for them, so there is definitely less hope for them now.
It will be quite difficult for Leverkusen to repeat the success like last season, this season has only been running 10 matches but Leverkusen's points difference with Bayern Munich is 9 points apart, of course that is quite a wide gap. With the many draws they have recorded, of course we doubt that they will be ready to compete strongly with Bayern Munich in the fight for the championship title.

Moreover, this season Leverkusen must focus their energy on the Champions League, so it will be quite different from last season. Xabi Alonso will continue to try his best to bring Leverkusen to be able to stick closely to Bayern Munich in the standings. Therefore we have to see their performance in the winter transfer market, whether management will bring in more qualified players to help them become champions this season.

I'm not at all surprised by the difference in Leverkusen's performance this season. They will definitely lose their best form after the change of season even though they had a really great season last season. Maintaining the team's performance exactly the same as last season is very difficult, this is not only experienced by Leverkusen, but all other teams are also the same if they have a record like Leverkusen last season.

This season Kompany with Bayern Munich can be expected to win the Bundesliga title. Bayern Munich's performance in the league is very convincing and so far Bayern Munich has a point gap that is safe enough to lead the standings for longer, even until the end of the season. Bayern Munich has not been defeated in the first 10 weeks in the league, this is Kompany's neat record for his first season at Bayern Munich.

I am not surprise by Bayer Leverkusen performance this season because I actually anticipated this to happen, they were excellent last season and that was what was needed to break the Bayern Munich dominance in winning the league and then right after they did that I didn’t expect them to replicate such form again because it is definitely not going to be possible even if they kept the same set of players, they have more serious competition to play this season compared to last season. Although this season I wasn’t expecting them to actually lose some kind of matches that they lost or draw but there performances isn’t quite surprising at all. For me I see Bayern Munich clinching this one because I don’t expect that Leipzig to maybe do any challenge due to their squad depth

Bayern Munich have dropped points in two matches in the Bundesliga. Bayern Munich failed to win against Frankfurt and Leverkusen. However, Munich's players played well in both matches. But we haven't seen a better performance than Munich in the Champions League. Munich have lost their last two Champions League matches against Barcelona and Aston Villa.
Sometimes when teams get hit with some bad result that were not expected it turns out to affect the players psycho negatively thereby making them less motivated and this may persist if nothing is done immediately to motivate the players as quickly as possible to raise their morale. For me, I think the Bayern side has not been able to get over their humiliating defeat to Barcelona in the Champions league and that's why their large goal scoring margin has drastically reduced but if they can at least get a win with a clean sheet with maybe 3 goals then they may be able to get back to how they started this season.

With the break underway, we can easily look at all the teams, seems like there isn't any team missing games, they all equally played 10 games, so we can now easily say that Bayern Munich will win the league. I get that it may not feel like that because it was close, but the gap grew and now it's five points. Leipzig did a good job hanging in there as close as possible, but with a loss and then followed that with a draw, suddenly they got five point gap when Bayern ended up winning both of those games.

If you want to beat Bayern, then you need to end up with a better result as well, and you need to keep winning, the moment you have back to back bad weeks, Bayern will use that as advantage and put a gap between you. The gap is two games now, and I do not think that Bayern will have 2m ore bad games than Leipzig for the remainder of the season, which is proof that we are not going to end up with anyone but Bayern win the league this season.

We should not reach any conclusions so early. Because there is still a long way to go in this season and there is also a good enough time for any other team to actually catch up to them if Bayern Munich starts performing badly. And I do not think the whole season is going to go that smoothly for them, especially with the new coach. It is only a matter of time before some coach finds some weakness in their tactics. Something similar like what happened with Leverkusen in the last season. At least that's what I am thinking right now. But if they do not face any problems, then it's all good, and I think if the performance does not deteriorate for Bayern Munich, they are definitely going to win the league

Sure. It’s obvious Leverkusen are not lucky compared to last season, and I think this shows that Bayer Leverkusen cannot keep a long-term consistency like other big teams that have been performing for like 2 or 3 seasons have been doing because I was thinking they would be able to dominate the Garman League this season again, but unfortunately they failed to do that. They are not in good form like last season, which is obvious, and there were last season matches that they won only 1 that drew 4. I think that if no use, they would have won all the matches. I think that would be better, but they failed to do that.
Winning all the matches in a season is one thing I have hardly seen any team achieved, they may have been able to stay unbeaten for the longest but they have not actually won all the games in that season, rather they only win a few and draw the rest.  But in the verm a league, Leverkusen isn't doing so bad just yet already so I don't think we can see them any less, they can still be able to achieve a whole lot before the season ends Just that they will still need to improve their performance to get such results but they aren't lost of hopes already, there's still room for them to still be able to make up for the losses and set back so far

I agree that Leverkusen is not going bad but they are still not having as good performance as they had in the last season and they are far from the good form we saw from this team.
Leverkusen is still fine with Xabi Alonso but we can't expect to see the same good performance from Leverkusen during all the games and all season because not losing a single game and winning all the matches in to sometimes easy to do even for the stronger teams. However, the good thing about Leverkusen is they try to make the team stable and avoid making huge changes during the summer.

Kompany has been doing well since Tuchel left the club, and I am confident that he will try his utmost to win the Bundesliga title this season. I believe that Kompany focuses on the Bundesliga rather than the Champions League.

The moment a trainer of a top club like Bayern would even dare focus just on the championship it's the moment the will be fired without any other question.
A team like Bayern saying we're not interested in the CL, just the championship? Are you kidding?

It's not that they are focusing on it, it's that they have a setback in the CL and the other top teams in the Bundesliga are doing just as bad, look who's on second place, Leipzig, with is 4 losses out of 4 matches in the CL, Frankfurt is not even in the CL, Bayer and Stuttgart are doing just as bad, and Dortmund is the leader of inconsistency no matter what matches you're allowed to pick from what tournament.

Yes ,but isn't necessarily that the club would come out to say that their focus is in champions league alone or not but from the club's performances and when compared on the Bundesliga league side and the champions,it's very possible to tell where their interest is or they're most focused. From their performances on both side, it can be said that Leverkusen have had a good winning ratio in the Champions League than in the league side.

No, it is not possible. Do you think that Bayern Munich doesn't care about the Bundesliga? Why have they won all their games and tied two games, but in the Champions League they have already lost two games. Now does this mean according to your theory that Bayern Munich puts more emphasis on the Bundesliga than on the Champions League? What about Liverpool? Is the Premier League less important to them?

This thought has been brought up multiple times and I will never understand why someone here thinks that clubs focus more on the Champions League than on the domestic league. They can do that when they are in the knockout rounds, have to rotate players in an and out and the domestic league games are not of that much importance. That's a different story then, but normally they are focusing on the domestic league as much as they focus on the Champions League. The difference is that the Champions League still is a highlight in every career of every player. It's normal that players sometimes come across as if they give a few more percentage points.

In the Champions League Bayern is not having very good results. However, the Bundesliga is a different story. Coach Vincent Kompany and his students are leading and maintaining an unbeaten streak in the Bundesliga. These results show that Bayern is still a strong team in the domestic league.
Jamal Musiala's only goal against St. Pauli helped Bayern extend their unbeaten run in the first 10 matches, winning 8 and drawing 2, gaining 26 points. Coach Vincent Kompany kept his unbeaten record equal to the points record set by Pep Guardiola in 2013. Bayern are settling in under Kompany and if they can maintain their current form, they are well on their way to reclaiming the title from Leverkusen.
I wouldn't say that Bayern Munich's poor performance in the champions league is due to inexperience on the side of coach Vincent Kompany but rather a function of the ever changing nature of the clubs competing in the tournament and at such has greatly impacted the teams involved and that's why you see a big side like Bayern Munich struggling all the way but seemingly doing well in their domestic league.

As it is right now they are not the only club facing this menace, perhaps several other teams that we would have expected to qualify for the the next round without experiencing much flip flops but that isn't the case as there are a lot of them struggling as well, and I think Vincent kompany shouldn't be blamed for what happened to Bayern because the result he is getting in the German bundesliga is enough to convince the board that he is able to lead the team to glory sometime in the future, and they need to be a bit patient with his style of management.

Though in football, you can't be very sure if a team can be able to maintain a certain level of performance for a long time but I don't think there's anything that's gonna stop Bayern Munich from winning the German Bundesliga this season. Just like you rightly said, they've been struggling in the UEFA Champions League and did suffer a huge defeat at Barcelona this season but I think their performance in the league is okay enough to help them reclaim the league title this season.

Munich is currently leading the Bundesliga standings. Several teams that were previously predicted to be competitors such as Leverkusen and Dortmund seem to be having difficulties. Munich will correct their mistakes last season and will bring home the Bundesliga trophy again this season. Moreover, with Kane's current good performance, he has the potential to score more goals in the Bundesliga for Munich. He is a goal machine that Munich has. 10 matches with 11 goals and 5 assists.
