Dortmund are in a really desperate condition this season. They collected only 16 points in 10 games so far. I must they aren't productive enough. However the main problem is their defending... 

The number of goals they scored and conceded is the same now. I mean Dortmund never had an amazing defense for many years. But this is just too much for a team which is called one of the biggest teams in the Bundesliga. Do you think Nuri Şahin will be given a season-long time? Normally I would say they should be patient at this point. There are stories turning into good ones after starting in a similar way. For example Arteta - Arsenal. 

Yes of course I think everyone will think the same as you including me, moreover the difference in points between Bayern Munich and Leverkusen is now quite far even though Leverkusen is still in the top four of the standings, Bayern Munich is ahead by 9 points over Leverkusen and they went through it without experiencing any defeat at all since this season started which of course the result makes many people assume that it seems like we will see Bayern Munich again win and seize the title from Xabi Alonso's squad.
On the other hand yes it is true that even though the situation now looks difficult for Leverkusen but it does not mean everything is over for them, there is still time which means the opportunity is still open even though the space may be getting narrower.

By the way, in the next match Leverkusen will play against Heidenheim, Heidenheim is not too favored, they started the season badly which resulted in more defeats than wins but I am quite doubtful that Leverkusen will be able to get full points in this match considering that in the previous match they failed to win the match against Bochum which is the team with the worst performance this season without getting a single win, but Leverkusen should be able to get maximum results considering that they will be playing at home in this match against Heidenheim.

Bayer Leverkusen is still a good side but four draws in five games really affected their position in the Bundesliga. There are still many games to play, therefore, we cannot write them off so that they would not defend the title. But comparing their performance last season, we might conclude that their output has drastically reduced. Last season they were invincible because they were strong and also lucky. They were fortunate to be having late wins as if Mother Luck was always by their side. Comparing Bayern Munich and the former champion, the former is having a good time in the German League, while Bayer is having a slightly better experience in the Champions League because they are one point better. Vincent Kompany and Xabi Alonso are championing a new phase in the German League.     

Coincidentally, there are weeks where big teams across Europe tends to lose their games against supposed "smaller" teams but there's no such thing in football as designated weeks for big teams to lose their games. Bayern Munich were surprisingly beaten by Aston Villa because Aston Villa was the better team on that very day. Bayern Munich under Vincent Kompany without doubt have improved from what we saw from them last season but they'll have to learn how to remain consistent to win a major trophy this season.

Of course, that was definitely known, we are not going to end up with Leverkusen winning like they did last season, that was one season only and they are not going to get the same result again at all. I bet that they are going to have some issues even further down the line. Xabi Alonso already proved to the world that he is doing great, and he is already rumoured with REAL Madrid after Ancelotti term is over, right now Ancelotti is not doing amazing neither, which means that if somehow we see Ancelotti get sacked, which could happen with the way things are going for them, we could definitely end up with a much worse result as well.

I believe that Xabi to Real Madrid would be a good move, that will give Real a chance to keep dominating and Xabi to show himself at the very top level as well. We have seen him take a Leverkusen level team to win, so imagine what he could do with a team like Real Madrid, so this Leverkusen time is very limited there.

One of the reasons that their performance is not as we all expected was because they joined the Champions League. If not, they are still trying, but as it is their first time joining the Champions League, it has to affect them that they will not be able to perform as they did last season. That is why they are not trying as we all expected.
 
Although if Xavi Alonso tries bringing in more talented players, then I think they will be able to perform better, but for this season, I don't think we need to have hope in them any more because the title is not on their level for now; they can’t get it.

You said it well, I thought the same thing too but they really disappointed me against Aston Villa, before the game they should have known how good Aston Villa played last season, I also think Bayern Munich will win but they deserve what they got why will they loss focus like that, I thought the will want to break Leverkusen unbeaten record since they are still maintaining unbeaten in their home league but they choose not to. Bayern Munich are still the only team that haven't lost a game in Bundesliga, at the beginning of the season I thought Leverkusen will be a serious headache for them but the choose to decline in the performance which make me give up on them, what happen to the motivation they got last season, it so bad to see a team played well last season and lost in the following season, now they are in fourth place with 17 points, 4 wins, 5 draw and a lost while there last season competitor are leading the table with 26 points and unbeaten.

Bayern got a manager bounce effect. They struggled last season. But, after a new coach arrived, they performed better. They're leading with 5 points gap to the 2nd position. Their odds are also getting smaller. Many bookies now believe they will win this season.

Although, we're still far away from the late season, we could see a surprise at the end of season. That could force Bayern to ensure its stability until season's end. Another club could surpass them as the gap is thin.

What Xabi Alonso done last season at Leverkusen is very fantastic because basically Leverkusen is not a big team in Bundesliga and Europa League even if we see from the current squad of Leverkusen their quality is below to Bayern Munich but Xabi Alonso can makes this team very solid even Leverkusen can ended Bayern Munich domination in Bundesliga and this team also can successfully to advances to the final match of Europa league

These achievements makes some people predict in the future Xabi Alonso could being an great manager and if he can handle big teams such as Real Madrid or Bayern Munich then people believe he can bringing those teams to gets the trophies besides that Xabi Alonso also potentially can being an the replacement of Ancelotti in Real Madrid

This sounds really funny as I don't think there's a design that an week should be for big or small teams to loose or win but maybe they all could and can win or loose at any time, it was just a coincidence that at a time the bigger the teams were loosing all together. I have always been of the opinion that knompany is doing well and shouldn't be considered any less because of a loss or even champions League performance as he's lack the experience at that level but at the domestic league he's doing well and if he's not able to get an unbeaten run throughout the season but is able to win the domestic title, then he did well even in other seasons where Bayern had won the title they didn't necessarily have an unbeaten run.

It is difficult to maintain consistency like last season and I don't see Leverkusen's ability this season having the same chance as last season. Xabi Alonso performed well last season with Leverkusen and he managed to break Bayern Munich's dominance in the Bundesliga but they failed to achieve the final result in the Europa League because they lost to Atalanta in the final match. Now if we talk about the Champions League, it is very difficult and the new system that is implemented may be different from before so that Leverkusen's chances of performing better in the competition are much smaller because the competition there is much tougher compared to the Bundesliga and the European league.

Bayer Leverkusen are nowhere to be found this season, although they're in the competitive title race but finding them to be ranked 4th position is concerning for everyone. They did great last season, winning the Bundesliga title with an unbeaten record, we consider that to be a brave one for the club but what happen this new season? Things changed and Xabi Alonso working for a change. On the records, Bayern Munich are back in shape and winning the Bundesliga title this season wouldn't be a problem on their ends. Vincent Kompany ensured his team are in good position to withstand any solid oppositions this season. They're all in for other priorities, talking about top goals like winning the UEFA Champions League title, how does it sounds? Magnificent right? The Bavarians are working entirely to secure golden chance towards winning top trophies this season.

I think Alonso have great potential to become a great coach in the future, last season Alonso managed to bring Leverkusen to be championship in the Bundesliga no one even thought before if they could win the league undefeated, their journey in the Europa League is also very impressive although in the end they has to run aground in the final after being defeated by Atalanta,  this season Leverkusen journey in the Bundesliga is not as consistent as last season, but even so they are still able to become a team that is in the bigfour zone today, although Leverkusen is still struggling to overcome the challenges that exist in the Champions League, but I think alonso will be able to overcome each of those challenges although maybe their journey does not reach to the final.

Bayer Munich's chances of being able to win the Bundesliga trophy again are indeed very large this season after everyone saw Bayern Munich's performance at the beginning of this season. So it makes sense that some people think that Leverkusen will not be able to defend their title again this season because Leverkusen's performance itself is also very different from last season. But that doesn't mean that Leverkusen can't keep rising because there is still enough time so that Leverkusen can try every week to get a win in order to be in a much better ranking.

It seems that week that Aston Villa won Bayern Munic was designed for the big teams to lose their matches because it was not only Bayern Munic that lost but other big teams including Barcelona losing to Monaco. So we can pardon Vincent Kompany and his boys because they are still in the competition and not out. At their local league they are doing extremely well and are even the favorite to win the league. If they continue in the current form and ensure they maximize every opportunity they have, the league will certainly be theirs.

Bayern Munich haven't played bad this season even in games that they lost, they have just been very unlucky while other times they get too lucky and score lots of goals. For the both games that they lost against Aston villa and Barcelona in the champions league, I think what happened was that Vincent Kompany underrated the both clubs. He thought he could win Aston villa easily and didn't think properly for the match while Barcelona use to be their regular victim but that day Barcelona played better and were in top form. Bayern Munich will be winning the league this year as not many teams are showing strength in competing for the title.

For me it's not something strange and it makes sense. Now we see again how Xabi can bring Leverkusen to control the bundesliga last season and with that achievement Xabi has ambitions to pursue the title at UEL and has been failed by Atalanta. After that Xabi might have the ambition to try to pursue the UCL title (though impossible) but Xabi only tried his best.
The Leverkusen coach only tries to get luck on the new system at UCL which provides an opportunity for other teams to try to pursue the title and Xabi only has the confidence to appear consistent at UCL even though the appearance in the bundesliga becomes a little bad.

Leverkusen never had UCL as their main target in the Champion League. They were only aiming to play regularly in UCL to get money. I never heard if their coach, Xabi Alonso, showed ambition to take UCL as their target. It has been so long since the last time they played at UCL.

They don't have big ambition to compete for the trophy. It's weird when you guys were talking they were intending to win UCL title.

It seems that Xabi Alonso still has to play a more extra role in the current season because now there are many other teams that have found their best tactics so that it has made it more difficult for Leverkusen to compete at the top of the Bundesliga. And it seems that Xabi Alonso has to think hard so that he can join in the transfer market in January in order to get some players who can boost Leverkusen's performance for the rest of this season so that Leverkusen can rise again even though not to win the trophy in the Bundesliga this season because that is indeed difficult for him to achieve this season.

Munich is gradually becoming dominant again in the bundesliga as they have always been except for recently when Leverkusen had a chance and won the title. I doubt if Munich will be able to stay unbeaten this season as the competition in the bundesliga is getting really tough this season unlike previous season where they had to enjoy dominance much enough as away from Leverkusen they have got others too trying to be top contenders through Munich still tops ahead with a whole lot of points. Leipzig and Frankfurt is gradually even looking like they will do even better than Leverkusen to me in the bundesliga this season.
