Bellingham is joining Real Madrid by the end of this month officially. This was one of the most profitable deals for Dortmund in the recent years though. In this way they can still reach their main target for a season even if they don't make it to the Bundesliga title. This target is to make a big profit in sales of talented young players such as Bellingham. Despite doing this the ending of this season wouldn't be forgotten too easily in my opinion. Because they literally handed over the title to Bayern Munich despite having a comfortable match on paper.
Fans and the board should still be happy with Terzic's work in general. This was really one of the closest seasons to the title for them.
Bellingham official transfer to Real Madrid before the end of the month represents one of Dortmund most lucrative deals in recent years making it a stunning accomplishment. They can still achieve their main objective for the season thanks to this tactical choice even if they don't win the Bundesliga. Dortmund shrewd economic sense is demonstrated by its ability to make substantial profits from the sale of young bright players like Bellingham. Even though they lost the championship to Bayern Munich despite what appeared to be a comfortable match on paper this season painful end won't be soon forgotten. But Terzic outstanding performance overall should comfort supporters and the board as this season saw them come tantalisingly close to winning the prized crown.
Financially, it is clear that they will benefit from this, but again, for now, they have to find young talent again so that their condition is not bad in the following season.
They have currently lost 2 players because apart from Jude, they have also lost Mahmoud Dahoud which of course this will leave their midfield empty.
They should try to do better in scouting youth talent as they always do and of course find the right replacement for the abandoned midfield.
On the other hand, now they have to try to protect Moukoko because if they lose this player then their gap will certainly get bigger.
Borussia Dortmund is known to be selling their best players in almost all the summer transfer windows and that is why Bayern Munich will continue to dominate the German Bundesliga for more seasons to come.
Jadon Sancho was sold last two summer before Erling Haaland was sold to Manchester City last summer and now Jude Bellingham has left for Real Madrid. I think the club's transfer strategy isn't concerned by the success of the team rather they're more concerned by how much they make as gains when they sell these players. They might also be lucky raise another great player before the end of next season and still sell him at the end of the season
Many people still don't understand the tactics used by some clubs like Dortmund and Arsenal at some point. It is like a farm to detect and to form talented players then sell them for a nice reward. Haaland was the best example, no one thought that Dortmund continued to win without him but they did win many times without having Haaland in the club.
Compared to Haaland, you can say they sold late and the price given was also not too expensive, it would be better to say that the example is Jude here
But it's not too strange for that because indeed some of Dortmund's players can also be said to be fields for them and this doesn't happen in just one or two seasons, but almost every season they always sell their players at prices that are really quite high and this is the way they are at an advantage. apart from Bayern who did make the bundesliga like a farm in terms of trophies, Dortmund also did the same but their focus was on the players.
