For the Bundesliga, yes. Finally, the unbeaten record by Leverkusen was broken. Leipzig, fortunately this is also one of the top Bundesliga clubs, so it's not so embarrassing. Now, their focus is to defend the Bundesliga title.

I bet that if you were the Bayern Munich coach, they still would have won 3-2 against Wolfsburg and 2-0 against Freiburg at home. It is the quality of the players in those games, not the coach. The coach comes into play when the team plays brutally dominant and you can literally see that the coach is transforming them into a monster. As I said before, Guardiola did that when Bayern couldn't be beaten in the Bundesliga and Heynckes did that. It was insane how the team played back then.

Take Liverpool as an example. Klopp needed a few years, but then the team was turned from a Volkswagen into a Ferrari. Same guys, but trained by Klopp. Bayern has achieved nothing. They won at home against Freiburg and you are talking as if they have just hammered Real Madrid, lol.

I agree with you that many fans have really underestimated this Bayern Munich this season just because they are managed by Kompany who man think his limited knowledge and experience will hinder the club’s progress, many still want him out as they believe he is not the right choice, but my emphasis has always been that he fits perfectly for the club to me due to how his style. At his former clubs he couldn’t implement his pattern of play because of the players there but at Bayern Munich he has the quality of players to play that styles.
I wasn’t surprised with the win today because i had predicted that Bayern Munich will definitely try to take advantage of the the points dropped by their rivals or title contenders, so it was a much needed and also well deserved win.

As for Stuttgart, I had predicted them running into difficulties this season due to their sales of players and them not being able to replace most of them. Now they will add the Champions league football to their games which is definitely going to affect them if they remain in this current form.
Heidenheim on the other hand since last season have shown similar characteristics like when Leipzig was promoted first to the champions league, last season many expected their drop back to the lower division but they stayed and even went ahead to get a spot at this season’s European competitions. They picked up right where they left off and I think they will grow more and would be a huge threat to just any club this season

What a weird game it was yesterday between Leverkusen and Leipzig. Everything was going smoothly for Bayer, they played at home, they took a 2-0 nil in the first half, they were dominating in possession and shots on goal, but Leipzig proved they are not to be underestimated, they fought till the end and managed to grab an important 3 points with a 2-3 win.
That ended Bayer's run of Bundesliga games without a loss of, if I'm not mistaken, 34, and now we know Bayern's record is not under threat. At least not for now.

It's almost like Leverkusen exhausted their luck in the last season with last-minute equalisers. I still believe they are more than capable of defending the title if they don't let that loss get in their heads.
Meanwhile, Bayern scored a 2-0 win over Freiburg and moved to the 2nd place of the table behind Heidenheim.

Die Roten pretty much dominated the match and their opponent did not have much chances to actually do a lot of things in this match. This has been a very good start for Bayern Munich this season. I hope they will be able to stay consistent and not face injury problems as well. And of course, good news for them is that the unbeaten streak of Leverkusen in the Bundesliga has been broken. Maybe Kompany is actually going to prove me wrong.

It seems that we underestimated Bayer Munich and Kompany, in the end they proved themselves to us that he can beat Freiburg, previously Stuttgart played very badly and made me disappointed when they were defeated by Freiburg and even yesterday they were held to a draw by Mainz 05.

Well, I think we will just have to accept that we had a little too much expectation from Buyer Leverkusen this season. And I understand why people had these expectations. the team literally did not lose a single match in the last season in the Bundesliga. So it is understandable why people might have thought that they were going to win this season as well. But I think we forgot that they were actually lucky in a few matches in the last season. Seems like it is not going to be the same in the upcoming season.

Leipzig is a good team and they always play very decent football. They are also pretty much in competition for the top four positions in the Bundesliga. So these kinds of performances are not that much unexpected from them, to be honest.

But indeed this victory is a deserved thing because after all, at this time Bayern still have to maintain consistency in order to make the supporters believe that management made the right decision to bring Kompany to the Alianz Arena.

It is undeniable that Freiburg is still one of the dark horse clubs but their performance problems last season made them lose momentum a little and it could be that for this season it will also remain the same especially in today's match Bayern still looks very superior and winning by 2 goals I think it's still quite feasible even though there are still a few things that must be improved from Bayern especially for their finishing problems which are not very good because seeing from what happened in this match Bayern's finishing still cannot be considered good even though their dominance is very strong.

I am quite surprised to see the progress of Heidenheim because since promote i have to says Heidenheim performance is very fantastic and last season they are not only successfully to survive in Bundesliga 1 because Heidenheim also can finish at 9th place and playing at qualification stage of Conference league and in this competition Heidenheim can able to advances to the league phase which if i am not mistaken this is the first time for them to playing on that competition

In Bundesliga too Heidenheim performance is really impressive because from 2 latest matches Heidenheim can beat their opponents and today they can win with big scores from Augsburg and so far Heidenheim has scores 6 goals without conceded and they also can occupy first place of league table

Bayern won their match, and as for Leverkusen, sooner or later they would have lost anyway, I think it's impossible to go two seasons without losing, so every time such a bet on a win was closer and closer to losing. Leverkusen have already set a record for games without defeat, I think they are proud of themselves and can start working on such an achievement from the beginning, if they have the strength to do so of course

I also got my doubts about Bayern Munich but when it comes to play at home they are very good and i guess i was right on my bet that they have won.
On the last weekend game between Stuttgart against Freiburg i think there Stuttgart played just really bad.
But what i am surprised is that Heidenheim is playing very nice with 4 scored goals about Augsburg , now they are first with that win.

That's one year and three months already. Xabi Alonso really influenced Bayern Leverkusen players to push on to this moment. I will love to see that they win the Bundesliga League Competition again this season. This is the first lose they've had but I don't see them losing conservatively. The lose has happened, now it's time to focus on the next game. Bayern Munich can thrive this season, but that of Borrussia Dortmund, I will need them to convince me. Xabi Alonso remains the best tactical manager in the Bundesliga League Competition still this season, I don't see Vincent Kompany ahead of him right now. IMO, Bayern Munich's first match conceding two goals is not a measure that their defense is having serious problems. Moreover, one of the two goals scored by Wolfsburg came from the penalty spot. In fact, because they conceded two goals, it became Kompany's homework to evaluate his team as a whole and not just the problem of his defense line. In the match against Freiburg, Bayern Munich did a very good job by defeating the away team. Their defense line was quite solid, as was Neuer who performed quite well in guarding his goal. Statistically, Bayern Munich dominated the match. In the first half they appeared far more dominant, but unfortunately in the second half they slackened off a bit. Uniquely, Kompany tried to apply Pep Guardiola's mainstay pattern, although it did not produce many goals, Bayern won the match with a clean sheet. Exactly what i thought too, We should not expect such a brilliant performance from them like last season but that doesn’t mean they cannot be good for the season. They still play well but the fact that they didn’t add more players to add strength to the team might affect them a little bit.

I am concerned about the players fitness because if they don’t have much squad depth to provide options for the players in different positions they might get fatigued as the season progresses, they have numerous competition to compete in and playing matches weeks in weeks out might tire them out and cause injuries to players.

I think maintaining a Champion League spot should be what they need to do at least even if they can’t win the title again.

After witnessing the great dominance from Leverkusen last season, our expectations were naturally high this season. But Xabi Alonso seems to have completely failed to live up to the fans' expectations. The Leverkusen team was ahead of Bayern Munich by a big margin of 18 points in the previous season. But I don't think it is possible this season.

We saw poor performances from Leverkusen in both matches. Leverkusen was also defeated in the first match against Gladbach. I would say they were very lucky to secure 3 points from the match. But Leverkusen couldn't do it against Leipzig. Leipzig's performance was good enough. Leverkusen's defense on the other hand was weak. Leverkusen's weak defense took advantage of Leipzig's players.

Leverkusen's attack is strong this season as well. If Xabi Alonso can strengthen the Leverkusen side's defense then I guess we will see a better performance from Leverkusen. Leverkusen's defenders need to work harder.

fans' expectations for Leverkusen must be like last season. but the results can't be like that. other teams also have improvements to compete and Leverkusen may not realize it.
the match against Leipzig was a blow for Xabi Alonso. there was a gap between the midfield and the back line that was too late when facing a counterattack from Leipzig. this transition failed to be played by the Leverkusen squad.
this season Munich will be more confident to win the Bundesliga. when seeing its strong competitors last season experiencing a decline in performance at the beginning of the season.
