Only 5 matches have been played so far so it's quite difficult to assess the standings, it's obvious that many are level with each other and it's not surprising to see teams that aren't normally in the top 3 in second and third place. When at least 10-15 matches have been played, then we can make some statements about the position in the table. Bayern dominated yesterday but couldn't pull out a win, Leverkusen as usual showed their level of performance

The last Europe League game of Frankfurt was against FC Viktoria Plzeň and it ended in a draw. The German side gave away a two-goal advantage, and it was heartbreaking. The Czech club put up a good performance by coming from two goals down and leveling the score to 3-3. The home side fan was disappointed because their side was leading till the 86th minute before the Ghanaian footballer Prince Kwabena Adu got the equalizer, and Václav Jemelka, in the extra time, gave the club one point with his goal in the 92nd minute.

In this match, Bayern Munich played really well. But I can't say that they deserved to win this match because I can't say that Leverkusen deserved to lose this match. If we look at the stats, on paper it will look like Bayern Munich absolutely dominated the match. I guess that is true to some extent. Because they had a lot of chances and if they were able to actually convert one of those chances into goals, it would have been 3 points for them from this match.

One thing I will say is that in this match both the goals that were scored were absolute screamers. It was like nobody actually expected them to shoot from those distances. And probably also caught the goalkeepers off guard as well. In the end, it was a great match. Deserving 1 point each for both the teams.

Bayern Munich vs Frankfurt will be a nail-betting match I assume. You know, Munich is still unbeaten this season and Dino Toppmöller's side won all of their last 4 matches. So this match may go either way, a risky match to place any kind of bet here.

Bayern Munich did not perform as well as expected against Leverkusen I would say. Bayern Munich should have been ahead in this match considering their current performance but they couldn't get ahead of Leverkusen. If they perform like they did in the last match against Leverkusen for the whole season, they could miss out on winning the Bundesliga title this season as well.  Keeping the ball in possession Shooting the ball on target Giving the correct five I don't want to discuss these things I just want to discuss the finishing. 
Keeping 90% of the ball in your favor is no use if the ball cannot be put in the goal post of the opposing team. I'll only say Bayern Munich played well when they win against this team.

Frankfurt won the Europa a few years ago if I am not wrong, they are not really that shocking team to be doing good for this time, I am not saying that they are going to win or anything, or even they could go down the standings soon enough, but it is not like Schalke came back and became second, that's not the type of situation this is, they are a decent team and at the start of the season they had a good run, it's that simple.

I am still sure that Leverkusen and Leipzig and Dortmund has a better chance finishing second, not that all of them will be second, just that we are going to see one of them be second instead of Frankfurt, but also Frankfurt could finish higher than one of them, which would mean fourth place, and UCL for them.

Basically Kane is still very likely to get the top score this season but unfortunately, if Kane is injured and cannot be played in several matches then of course it will be a factor that Kane will find it difficult to become the top scorer. But, if for example Omar Marmoush also does not manage to consistently make goals in each match, then maybe Kane will still have a chance to overtake Omar Marmoush at the top of the Bundesliga top scorer.

Omar Marmoush is the top scorer of the Bundesliga now with 6 goals and Kane follow him with 5 goals. I didn't know much about this guy before honestly. He didn't seem this impressive back then. But now I see he has made a great start. He plays a big role in Frankfurt's being at the 2nd position now as well. Have you ever watched him so far? Do you think he can compete Kane for finishing as top scorer?  

I would still write Kane to the top honestly. There are really capable strikers in the league. There is no doubt about it. But Kane's level is just something else.    And he has more capable teammates to keep him fed.

Werder football team played very excellent in this match and they entertained the crowd and we saw them to show their full ability to win this match. In the end, they became successful in their mission and match was in the side of Werder team because they did 4 goals in this match and in the comparison, Hoffenheim football team did 3 goals and  Stage was the match winner of this match because he did alone 3 goals in this match and he bent the match to their sides and passes of that team were more in number. Players were playing with ful confidence. Hoffenheim team gave tough time to Werder team and that was not easy match for both teams and as we know only one team wins and winner was Werder due to great performance.

The only reason Die Werkself was actually able to draw this match is because Buyer Munich was unable to shoot on target.
Maximum of the shoot that they have taken were not on target. And honestly, if some of them were actually on target, there was no way Die Werkself was going to have one point from this match.
But it takes nothing away from Alonso's side as well. They have definitely played well and the goal that they have scored was also pretty incredible.



Hoffenheim has only been able to win one match so far in this season and that is not good enough for a team that has finished several in the last season.
I do not want to make any quick assumptions because this is still early stages and I think we should still wait for a little and the performance improves from Matarazzo.
If Matarazzo's men still cannot win one more match till the 10th match is played, it will be of serious concern for them.

Bayern Munich and Bayern Leverkusen will most likely win the Bundesliga again this season. The other teams in the top six now can try their best too, but my point of choice is still with this two teams because they stand the best amongst the other teams in the league now.

The Bundesliga is just five match in but seriously it looks like we are not going to have one or two team race like we use to have although I have reservations for that and will instead wait till like match day 15 or more to know maybe this are genuine league contenders or they are just enjoying the early season run first. The table look a bit tight with weder Bremen on 10th position just two points off Bayer Leverkusen on the 4th, a slip by any of this clubs means they are dropping hard to down. My biggest surprise of the seasons is the Frankfurt team who are looking like they will be giving us some last season Stuttgart vibes and as such. The game against Bayern Munich gives them the opportunity to actually declare their intentions, if they get point off this rejuvenated Bayern Munich side then we might be looking more into Frankfurt staying higher than we imagined.

I still think Bayer Leverkusen are serious contenders to Bayern Munich although I don’t rule out most of the clubs out with even Heidenheim my biggest wild card to actually finish in the champions league. But the club have lowered my expectations on again this season is Borussia Dortmund who o still think aren’t going to be formidable as othe two Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen, they have same points with the latter but they haven’t been convincing to me and as such I don’t see them on this form winning the league

I love the fact that it's not business as usual in the German Bundesliga. For a team to remain at the top of the table now, they'll have to be very serious with their performances as any of the top five teams can go top when the leading team underperforms. Before, it used to be Bayern Munich dominating while Borussia Dortmund try to catch up but now, Bayer Leverkusen and others are also competing for the league title. That's a good development and one of the best ways of advertise the league to the rest of the world.


To think that Hoffenheim lost their home league game against Werder Bremen yesterday even after leading with 3 goals is was very shocking. They scored 3 goals inside the first 12 minutes of the game and also dominated the game until S. Nsoki was sent off in the 18th minute of the game and that cost them a lot as their visitors utilized the opportunity to score four goals. Disappointing result for Hoffenheim but that's what you get in football

The next three games facing Eintracht Frankfurt will carry a very big test. That is, getting a clearer picture of how strong they are, not only domestically but on the European stage as well. The performance from Leipzig was obviously good. I think that was mainly because they were going up against a team that was relatively weaker compared to them. Augsburg has finished towards the middle of the table in the last season. And in this match, not much was expected from them against Leipzig.
