After making a profit from selling Haaland, this time Dortmund managed to get a pretty good defender, Nico Schlotterbeck. Dortmund's task this time is to find a replacement for Haaland, so they can continue to compete with Bayern. the gap (strength) between bayern and other bundesliga teams is very far and that makes the bundesliga a slightly boring league, much different from the premier league or Italian league.

They have a very successful football player monitoring committee. They always hit the target with full hits. Every year they present new stars to the football world. I wonder how far they can achieve this. One day they will get stuck and have a hard time finding new star football players. In my opinion, instead of finding new star players, they should try to keep the star players they have in the team.

That's what we all see here. Their difference is far from the dominance of Bayern Munich, which has almost no rivals. In fact I am quite confident in saying they will come out as champions again next season and I think you will agree with that too. 10 years in a row they managed to get it easily without any pressure.

I wouldn't be so sure for the next year. You should consider that Bayern Munich will lost Lewandoski, and we should see what they will do and what they will be as his substitute, then, I don't like so much Julian Nagelsmann,

I'm not so convicted from his method of play. So, I guess that Dortmund the next year can compete against the Bayern.

schalke 04 was promoted to the Bundesliga with mike büskens. he led the team to the top with his co-coach.
Now he's gone again. not quite gone...he's co-coach at schalke 04 again. the new coach is called Frank Kramer.
many german sports news report this today.
whether this news is true will be seen in the next few days. and whether he is the right coach for schalke will probably only be known in december.  Wink

Bundesliga have been super boring because they is no competition in the League. Bayern munich keep winning the Bundesliga title every season. While no team is strong enough to compete with them. Unlike, Premier League Which is very interesting as a result of the great competition among the clubs. Nico Schlotterbeck is a good defense which will probably strengthen their defence line. Although, they really have to look for a good replacement of Haaland.

If you see the team under munich playing it looks fun and not boring. From 2nd Bundesliga position to European Conference position they are competing this season for the safe position. Like leipzig, they are in a tight race for the UCL seat with union berlin and are only 1 point adrift.
While Freiburg, its position in the European league is threatened by FC Koln
The boring thing is that Bayern Munich continues to be in 1st place, and haven't found a comparable opponent until now

Dortmund are going to be the team that I wonder the most in the slowly approaching new season. Because they have lost one of their most important players, Erling Haaland. But they are accustomed to this kind of incidents already. I can even say that their main goal is to find this kind of very talented players and help them grow themselves by showing their quality in one of the big leagues, the Bundesliga. Dortmund already stated that they played without Haaland for so many years and they would do good without him too. We will see how good they will be.
If Dortmund lost Erling Haaland in the next season,  am sure Dortmund will be making plans to get player that will replace  Erling Haaland. I think Dortmund will be interesting team in the next season , Dortmund is financially okay to buy talented players for next season.

Borussia Dortmund actually has great potential to be able to compete even more tightly with Bayern Munich. But yeah, I see they are not serious about it, they just want to have an advantage in terms of money for this team. The result as we see, they can not compete with the rulers of the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich. This makes the Bundesliga monotonous in terms of competition.

Well, I'm curious about the fans, didn't any of the Dortmund fans protest or something like that to keep a key player? So I wonder why they are still Dortmund fans when they realize that this team is only for money and not an achievement. Because as far as I know, even though a team is not on the title track but the team will continue to make improvements, that way their fans will continue to support and be loyal until the team achieves achievements. But about Dortmund, I wonder what makes the fans loyal because when Dortmund have great players they immediately sell them without having any desire to retain at least one title in the Bundesliga and break Bayern Munich's dominance.
The fans' love for the team they support trumps all, even though their team is on the verge of collapse. I don't think the Borussia Dortmund fans are silent either, but that's not enough to make the club's top brass think and give their supporters what they expect. Especially when talking about money, clear sense will be lost if in his mind there is only about money.

In my view, there is currently no one who can dethrone Bayern. Bayern won the title very easily. At one point they were huge points ahead. Dortmund has not even been 2nd for a long time and becoming champion is impossible. They have now also lost Haaland, who should fill that up? Even with Haaland, a championship is not conceivable. That will not be the goal for Dortmund, they just want to qualify for the Champions League.

Let alone you, dortmund fans themselves don't have much confidence in their team next season Grin, the many star players who have left so far have continued to weaken dortmund and it's as if the dortmund management doesn't care if they can't compete for the championship trophy as long as they can get a lot of money from sales the players, so far many star players of Dortmund have left and every season they always fail to compete with Bayern Munich, even though Dortmund is the second biggest team in the Bundesliga so far but not once did they make it difficult for munchen.

Bayern Munich are likely to loss one of their top and sharp striker this summer, Robert Lewandowski. He is looking forward to one of the Spanish team, Barca to come to an agreement with Bayern Munich. Perhaps Julian Nagelsmann don't want him to leave since he is one of his key player, but Robert is tired and wants to face new challenges elsewhere which is a smart move. This possible move can happen in the transfer window and not just Robert is leaving but also Gnabry who is yet to renew his contract with the team. If they eventually leaves, Bayern will have to look for a good replacement.

This is true, Robert Lewandowski is reportedly looking for greener pastures or perhaps higher pay and his most likely destination is either of Real Madrid or Barcelona. With Haaland already signed by Pep at Manchester city, it is either Bayern get a younger striker, or perhaps rely on academy graduates to fill the shoes of their goalscoring talisman. With Sadio Mane signing imminent. I think Bayern will conduct their businesses well

Bayern Munich is undoubtedly the best team in the Bundesliga and I think the next season they will still be the champions. But the problem is Robert Lewandowski was a big part of the success that Bayern Munich had. If he is not on the team it will be a little heart for them. But they are thinking about bringing in a replacement for him. But I don't think it will be a very good replacement. At least not at the level of Robert Lewandowski. Let's see how they do under the management of Nagelsmann next season.

The Skill and ability of Robert Lewandowski are not forever he will eventually be wilted and after 6 years or so he can not perform like the same again, and Bayern will surely be needing to find another just like him, but I think the way they are stopping Lewandowski is because Bayern hasn't found any near replacement for Robert Lewandowski yet, but Robert Lewandowski had enough on Bayern's what is he's worth and what he just needs to do, Robert Lewandowski just wants out from Bayern Munich,

-snip-

Of course, this is due to age, but nevertheless, his price is quite low and so far no one is ready to pay it. Against this background, Lewandowski's demarches are puzzling.

Today, the President of Bayern said that he did not understand why Lewandowski chose the path of public statements, in addition, he paid many compliments to him and suggested that Lewandowski will play for Bayern next season. Maybe I'm wrong, but this polite speech looks like a veiled ultimatum to Lewandowski.

Well, the Price of Lewandowski is low because Lewandowski will now want to buy his own freedom from Bayern Munich and the Webster Ruling may come up with a sum of 40M euros for Barcelona could avail it, but yeah if it is not what you are talking about I think Lewandowski right now wants his price to be low so Barcelona can truly afford him, but Bayern Minich really wants to set it high so other teams can not be bought Robert Lewandowski out of Bayern Munich, now there is tension inside the club of Bayern Munich, and let's just wait what may happen in the future awaits.

I'm not sure about this, as I know how Dortmund played without Haaland (when got injured). When Haaland is in the squad, Dortmund is going to a club with fierce competition with Munchen in beginning, but after the middle session, the performance is going down when Haaland rests for months. I know how the agent finds new talent, but it needs much time to polish it, maybe not for the next session but in 2 or 3 years from now. but it would be different if they have already transferred a player which has a mature player like Lukaku. So far, Dortmund didn't yet find who can replace Haaland, they just bought a young player with needs to polish it.

Even having Erling Haaland wasn't enough for Dortmund to reach a championship in the Bundesliga and their job will be even more difficult in the absence of him. Dortmund are going to have only Moukoko and Malen after Haaland's departure. Moukoko is only 17 now and I assume that Dortmund wouldn't like to put Moukoko in their starting eleven. Malen would be their first choice. He is a capable striker actually and he is young now too (23). But I'm doubtful about if he can do as good job as Haaland did so far. When we consider all this, maybe they might be in search of a striker like Haaland this summer.
Dortmund looks team care with business only depending on Haaland transfer values to Manchester City, actually every season always have star and potential player sell by Dortmund. Last season Jadon Sancho become star and potential player sell by Dortmund to Manchester United, then this season chance for get much money by selling Haaland to Manchester City. Not any bigger feedback with Dortmund after much money getting from their selling player to get new player. Actually try give chance for young player and hope could get top performance and have higher values again later.

It is the truth that they like to bring young and very talented players to the team first and they are selling those players for a good amount of money not much time later. Jadon Sancho is a really good example for this. He isn't playing as good as he was at Dortmund for now but his talent is really good now anyway. I hope Haaland doesn't experience the same in the Premier League. Because it would be lovely to watch him scoring so many goals there.

we can't say what dortmund is doing is wrong because the team needs money and the most income of a football team is by selling players, moreover Haaland is a shining star
Dortmund is well-known as a club that is quite easy to sell their star players. As far as I know, only Reus committed to staying although many offers from big/top clubs. While other star players mostly leave the club after they got a big offer from top clubs, including Haaland. Sure, we can't blame Dortmund since they need fresh money to build the club.

dortmund's chance to shift the dominance of bayern from the bundesliga is very small if they continue to sell their good players for money
The Dortmund squad isn't capable to compete with Bayern. Bayern always improves their squad, while Dortmund is always losing star players. How can Dortmund expect the title if they are in a such situation?  Cheesy

Lewandowski's condition is still not clear and this is still giving the other teams a chance to sign him in this summer. I have loved to watch him at Bayern Munich so far but I started to feel like I would like to see him at some other teams too. I mean another very big team of course. Barcelona have been the most interested team for some time and I've heard Chelsea starting to be interested as well. Who knows maybe even Real Madrid would like to try their luck to sign him too after losing the chance to sign Mbappe. I would love to watch him espeicially in the La Liga as I think it fits his style.
It's just that Lewandowski wanted a salary increase for his goalscoring results, and Bayern didn't want to do it. Of course, there are other factors such as the desire to change the situation, but still I think that the financial issue plays the most important role here. Therefore, it is in the interests of Bayern Munich to release the player for normal compensation, rather than forcing him to finalize the contract. In any case, the departure of such a player will weaken the club, but I think Bayern knows what it is doing, not wanting to agree with the appetites of the player.
