Dortmund is actually quite good at honing the abilities of the players so that the players can become potential players but they actually make it a business so that the players can be sold for high prices to top clubs without considering their strength, but even though they sell star players they can still stabilize their performance and not experience a drastic decline, and now they have managed to buy a great striker at a low price, most likely Dortmund will hone Guraissy even stronger than last season and will sell him to a club that is willing to buy him, but top European clubs seem to need to think long and hard to recruit this player considering his age is 28 years old, Saudi Arabian clubs can be a good choice for Dortmund the club will receive a big profit.
Before we talk about the resale of this Guraissy player, we must first see how he performed when he was at Dortmund which has been quite famous for their way of honing ordinary players to be extraordinary and eyed by many other European teams. Because Dortmund's success in getting a player like Guraissy is a very good thing because apart from being able to strengthen Dortmund's own team, it can also be a threat to other teams because Dortmund is still continuing to train other young players at this time.

Bayern Leverkusen will no doubt perform very well in their league this season, with an improved tactics from what we saw last season. I believe they have equally learn from their loss to Atalanta in the europa league final. But what I'm not sure is, if they are going to win the league again. But if you look at this Bayern Leverkusen squad you will see that there is enough joy and happiness in their dressing room. Take it or leave it any team that want to win the Bundesliga title will have to go through Bayern Leverkusen. There is enough confidence in their players right now. They won the league unbeaten last season and there this feeling of let's do it again that will be within them. In the Champions league they are going to make it through the round of 16 this am sure, but anything further than that I can't guarantee that.
Defending a trophy has been one of the tough things most teams struggle to do, they don't easily get away with it, only a few teams who have dominated a certain league so possess the ability to maintain such serially but in the case of Leverkusen who is just doing it more like for the first time, they are going to find it challenging but this doesn't mean they can't achieve it or they are going to perform poorly but it's simply not going to come easy, this almost everyone seem to agree with.

Well, in the new season it will be a challenge for Alonso and his team. Will he be able to defend the Bundesliga title, or will they experience a decline in performance. It is not easy to maintain the performance and consistency of his team, I am sure Alonso knows that. That is why a team usually needs time to build a foundation to maintain their consistency from season to season. Alonso is truly a great coach, he has implemented an extraordinary system and strategy. However, it is not an easy job for his team to be able to become Bundesliga champions in two consecutive seasons. Moreover, Bayer Leverkusen will have a fairly tight match schedule. So, we agree. At the same time, the German League giant, Bayern Munich, will not allow Leverkusen to win the Bundesliga title again. Although it is designed by a young coach who does not have much experience, the fact is that Bayern Munich has great players in its squad. In addition, Kompany has run his pre-season very well. There are other teams that can also complicate Leverkusen's steps, maybe Stuttgart can also provide tough competition. Perhaps Dortmund has the same plan. I suspect the 2024/25 Bundesliga season will be more exciting than the previous season.

I don't think that it is impossible for Leverkusen to win Bundesliga this new season but it will be difficult because if you look at it from this angle, only Bayern Munich have won it back to back and is still the favorite to win the league despite the challenge that they are having in bringing Kompany to be the new caich of the club.

Leverkusen will be playing in UCL which if they don't improve their performance amd stay strong when they get lose matches it can affect their performance. Last season was so smooth for them and all their mentality was winning with no lose, giving them more confidence and motivation till the last match which they lost to Atalanta. Losing a match in UCL can affect their performance in Bundesliga.
You have a good point and concern about Leverkusen because those clubs that do not win often but just did the underdog thing to win often disappoint the expectation of replicating it. Just like when Nopoli won Seria A in the 2022/2023 season, neither the club nor their best striker was able to replicate the success. But I still have a high degree of belief and trust in Leverkusen, they may deliver again, or at least finish at the second spot this coming season. My reasons are simple, the same coach will defend the title next season and nothing has so far significantly changed in the team compared to the last season.

Besides, Bundesliga clubs have not been so challenging for many seasons ago, it's either a certain club or 2-3 clubs performed well and the others performed woefully, which is what is mostly giving Bayern Munich and Dortmund some advantages over the years. But with a viable contender like Leverkusen and their brilliant team in play again, I see it differently. Bayen has not also made a huge change that would warrant fear, and neither is Dortmund. The two teams are the major concern I could see for Leverkusen, so I expect something similar to that of last season, and it's not a crime for an underdog club to replicate its winning, especially when they stay strong as I see with the current Leverkusen.

Stuttgart is progressing really well in the transfer market so far. Deniz Undav and Ermedin Demirovic are both smart transfers for the CF position.  Wink
Stuttgart paid €21.7m for Undav who is among the top 5 scorers. This is a bargain price for him, considering he has very good statistics as well. Stuttgart is always doing good business, and they also decided to keep Führich and Hoeneß. I'm feeling Stuttgart will be okay for the current season.
So many good players are joining the squad. They lost their goal machine, Guirassy. But, I must admit, Stuttgart made brilliant transfers. They're also having Demirovic who is very competence to replace Guirassy.

Both of them were very productive last season with many goals and assists. But I wasn't expecting them to sign two CFs. Probably they wanted two reliable forwards.
In fact, Stuttgart has signed both (Undav & Demirovic). Demirovic's price is very expensive. He is now Stuttgart's most expensive signing. But i think he is really worth his price.

There are only 2 formations they prefer to use: 4-2-3-1 and 4-4-2. The first one is used more often normally. But after these two solid signings, I would expect 4-4-2 to be used more than before. I'm curious about how coherent they would be together on the pitch.  Smiley
Stuttgart don't want to be considered what they did last season was just luck, so they made a breakthrough in recruiting players to make them even better this season. I really appreciate them, when other teams who surprisingly played well they sold their players, but Stuttgart tried hard to keep them even they looked for good players to be part of them. This is what makes the Bundesliga more interesting than usual, because other teams are starting to show resistance to provide competition at the top. Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund can't relax like before, because now the threat to them is increasingly visible and it is real. We can see that last season when Leverkusen was able to win their first title after 120 years and also Stuttgart who managed to surprise by being in 2nd place. I'm waiting to see a tighter competition this season.

Folks, Leverkusen had a fantastic run last season, no doubt about it. But the Bundesliga is changing day by day. Dominating this league year after year? Thats Bayern's territory. Leverkusen's got talent, but it takes more than skill to stay on top. Depth, resilience, handling the pressure – these are things they're still proving.

Last season was great, but it was also pretty smooth sailing. That rarely happens twice in a row. Plus, they've got Champions League ambitions now. Thats a whole new ballgame, folks. Juggling both domestic and European competitions? It takes a special kind of team, and Leverkusen hasnt been in that position before.

So, are they a strong team? Absolutely. Should we expect them to repeat last season's magic? Lets just say, lets not get ahead of ourselves.

I think Bayern Leverkusen will not dominate the league like last season because Bayern Munich and Dortmund will do anything to win the league, when I watch their preseason against Arsenal, I see like they will not perform well anymore because Arsenal dominate the match and defeat them even in preseason, they need to perform well and serif they will still do well next season, since Xabi Alonso and achieve his goal with Leverkusen to win the league title, I think they will focus on the champions league now to win the trophy, but he won't be easy since is a big competition and they need to challenge big club in the competition first and defeat them, because last season they do unbeat in the Bundesliga and even in the Europa League but as last they fuckup in the final and Atalanta have opportunity and defeat them and win the Europa trophy. So Xavi Alonso needs to play well if he wants to win another trophy next season. I enjoy how other clubs are now challenging all of the top teams, making the league competitive. Let's see who will have the opportunity to win the league next season.

Leverkusen will dominate for sure and bayern need to start cooking things up to be able to meet up with Leverkusen, because the way dortmund and bayern will find their self in the same position next season, people already think that since they have the experience and they have been defending the title for a very long time. since the title is not for them alone and its a competition they need to fight for the title so them winning it  before does not guarantee that they will be able to win.  arsenal defeating Leverkusen is a normal thing arsenal is a stronger club than Leverkusen and they participate in different leagues and you can not compare bundesliga and premier league and champions league because the English leagues are tougher than other leagues so it was natural for arsenal to actually beat bundesliga.  Leverkusen should focus on the bundesliga since they are new takers them coming to the champions league and wanting to win the trophy will destabilize them am very sure of that, and they will lose what ever trophy they are fighting for and it is a normal thing you can not be fighting for what you don't have experience about Dortmund and bayern will even do better during the champions league.

Everyone seems so sure about the domination of Leverkusen. Honestly, I am not so sure about it. Because I think this time the teams are going to be ready for their tactics. We have already seen in the final of the Europa League competition last season that if you can actually counter the tactics of Leverkusen properly, will not have much to do. But there is a big difference between only planning and planning with good execution. I would like to say better competition for the title in Bundesliga this season. I personally don’t know what will actually happen this time because Bayern Munich got a new coach. I don’t know how they would perform. So far they have done pretty well in the friendly matches. But those are friendly matches. I am also interested to see how Leverkusen will perform in the Champions League competition.
Leverkusen seems to have some buzz; I understand this. Though last season was strong, that does not ensure a dang thing this time around. Teams change; strategies change; Leverkusen's going to have to stay up. Bayern is looking for blood since they have a new coach. Last season's debacle won't be allowed to recur. Not least of all let us not overlook Dortmund. Should they organize their affairs, they can quickly disrupt the Leverkusen-Bayern party

Calling any winners here is far too early. That's the game's brilliance; anything may happen in it

It didn't take long for Dortmund to find a new striker and they have reached an agreement with Hoffenheim for the transfer of Maximilian Beier. Dortmund always has a way to find a good striker, especially since Maximilian Beier scored 16 goals for Hoffenheim last season, isn't he a prolific striker? Wink

In addition, Niklas Fullkrug's departure to West Ham will not disrupt Dortmund's performance next season because Maximilian Beier is projected to be his replacement. Surely we can't wait to see the duet of Maximilian Beier with Sehrou Guirassy next season and how many goals will they both score? I think it's more than 30 goals. Grin

Yes, this is what I said a few days ago and we know Dortmund is a team with profitable business prospects so it is not surprising if they release important players and look for players at lower prices because the title is not their main target.

Do you remember 2 years ago when Dortmund had a chance to win the title 2022/23 they drew in their last match and collected 71 points, the same as Bayern Munich well this certainly raises questions for us as to why Dortmund missed such a great opportunity as if they let Bayern Munich win the title. In this transfer window Dortmund have brought in 2 players from Stuttgart and the transfer of Serhou Guirassy makes me wonder why is a player with a market value of 40 million released for only 18 million? I think this is quite strange.
I agree with you about Dortmund transfer decisions. They seem to care more about making money than winning championship. It is weird that they let good players go and replace them with cheaper ones. I remember when they could have won title in 2022/23 season but didn't? Now  they are selling a valuable player Serhou Guirassy for less than he is worth. It is confusing and sad to see a great team like Dortmund focus on money instead of winning.

Dortmund's business is clear to everyone and they have nothing to hide. We know Dortmund is good and they have lots of fans and a good financial situation and they have enough power to easily race with teams like Bayern Munich in a better situation by hiring more players for their teams but they prefer to earn money but putting players for sale. That's how their business works.
They know Guirassy joined this team and they will put Guirassy for sale just after they made this player worth more.

Kompany's team have looked good in the friendlies so far. They beat Tottenham twice. I wish Kane played longer than only 10 minutes in total in these games. It was against his old team in the end.  Smiley
But the problem is still the same. Kompany used the same strategy he did on Burnley. It requires us to take risks on our defense to create more attacks. It's clear to me that Bayern's gameplay is fun to watch. It's a goal-scoring strategy, but we'll also give up a lot of goals.
Bayern has the resources to run Kompany's strategy. It's time to ensure the club doesn't concede many goals. The win against Tottenham is something, but they conceded lots of goals too.

In five days, the season starts officially for them with an Ulm game in the DFB Pokal. How many goals Bayern Munich would score you think?  Tongue
It's something like 5-0 against Ulm if Bayern Munich keeps performing at the current rate.

I feel like they are going to make a solid start by scoring at least a few goals.
Kompany's ball is much more focused on how to score, but lacks defense. But Kompany's ball looks better than Tuchel's ball last season.

Yes, Bayern Munich, Leverkusen, and Dortmund are the teams with great squads. I can say they will be the next season's Bundesliga trophy contenders, but the main two favorite teams to win it should be Bayern Munich and Leverkusen. Despite many people not having confidence in Kompany due to his past records, I have some confidence in him. I believe he can do great work at Bayern Munich and could win the Bundesliga trophy with the help of the great squad he has at his side. In fact, Bayern Munich is my favorite team to win the Bundesliga trophy next season because of the great players they have. But let's see what will happen as the season is about to start; maybe Leverkusen will surprise us again and win the Bundesliga.
Now, at least with the return of hope in the competition for the trophy of course this makes the Bundesliga more alive because in addition to the 3 clubs you mentioned of course we cannot forget Leipzig who can always be a stumbling block for competition or at least in the race for a position in the top 4 and some other surprise clubs like VfB last season although the performance of surprise clubs like this is difficult to predict.

4 Bundesliga subscription clubs Bayern, Dortmund, Leverkusen and Leipzig will be quite interesting to watch them in the race for the trophy later especially next season will be a new situation where their current coaches are still very young and of course they also have the capability as a coach because they certainly understand after they have previously been a player in their football career so this competition will be more interesting I think in the coming season.

I also think that Dortmund fans themselves should still be optimistic and not worry about Dortmund's decision to bring players like Guirassy into their squad, because in the past Dortmund has also often made ordinary players into extraordinary players and are again glanced at by many other teams at the end of the season. Likewise with this one player where he also already has his own skills in playing which is added to him being in the right team to support his career better this season.
Dortmund does not appear like they are even worried about any of this, it's looking more like it's the media and the fans that are just head bent and cracked on the whole transfer, been scared Dortmund may decline in performance of which I don't think will be because I know they have got their strategy intact as they have done long before now in previous seasons so I don't think there will be any need to panic with regards to them. Guirassy will sure do well at Dortmund if he's there for them looking at the fact that their coach has got his tactical control most times and aswell have his strategies which is believed that he's going to fit in.

Dortmund's business is clear to everyone and they have nothing to hide. Leverkusen Did made a lot of things look different last season and that is why a lot of people are already giving a judgment about next season and they are already convinced that if Leverkusen is able to do it last season then this seasons should not be a problem. And if people's expectations are not met then they won't have a choice than to accept what they see or get. I know for sure that Leverkusen will not have plenty of fans just of recent I know their fan base will increase because of their accomplishment they had last season winning comes with a lot of benefits. How exactly will Bayern defeat Leverkusen next season even with their new coach, because having a new coach does not guaranteed that they will able to win. Because their are other competition that Bayern will perform in, and if it is the champions league then their is nothing for Bayern their they should focus on the home league, then they will have to battle with Leverkusen.

I don’t think Leverkusen will keep their consistency next season, they will actually try but I don’t think Dortmund and Bayern Munich will allow Leverkusen to do the same thing they did last season.
Bayern Munich is improving under Vincent Kompany because from their preseason matches, they did very well and the even won a trophy which has been Kompany’s first achievement and Harry Kane’s first ever title since he started a football career.
Dortmund on the other hand is making good effort to make the team more competitive in the Bundesliga because they are supposed to be among to title contenders but their habit of selling key players is the main problem the team is having.

First things is Bayer Leverkusen will hardly have that opportunity to actually go all season unbeaten again because it’s an extraordinary thing that I don’t fathom will replicate it sled again most especially now that they have got the football eyes and are also competing in the biggest club football competition this season too. But regardless of this I still feel like they can still go all the way and win the league again, why i have this fate is that Bayern Munich are starting to rebuild a new team under a new manager and that on its own takes time to build. Dortmund on the other aren’t a club I rate so high like that, they are definitely not making much of a progress in this transfer window and can’t compete with the other two interms of quality. Bayer Leverkusen have an unchanged squad amd that could be at their advantage when other clubs are adapting to the new style.
