Füllkrug played very well in Dortmund last year in my opinion. Dortmund made a good profit by selling him for a good transfer fee. Now they bought young Beier instead and will sell him for a higher price. If he shines well for a year or two, Beier can earn Dortmund big money. Guirassy will give the impression of being the other goal scorer.
Dortmund have always been able to do business like that every season so it is not surprising that they continue to do things like that to get more money. Because in general Dortmund have always been able to turn ordinary players into expensive players by honing and training them well before selling them for a fairly high price. But the focus at the moment is actually about Dortmund who could be a threat to other teams in terms of winning the Bundesliga trophy because Dortmund already has Guirassy as a player who will score goals for the team's victory.
One of Borussia Dortmund's characteristics is that they train the players they buy well. They identify especially young and potential players and sell them to important teams in Europe after they have been trained well. There are many examples of this, but the latest example is Jude Bellingham. Beier currently has this potential. Since they transferred him at the age of 21, they can sell him to a big team again in a few years for a very high transfer fee. Borussia Dortmund does this job very well.

The competition in the Bundesliga used to be between Bayer Munich and Dortmund, but last season a tougher opponent joined the two teams. Leverkusen performed brilliantly last season and secured the title by going undefeated and they have shown that they will compete this hard next season and take the title away from the big teams including Bayern Munich. Bayan Munich's team was strong last season but they couldn't keep up with this team only because Bayan Munich dropped some points early on while Leverkusen didn't drop any points. Bayan Munich have been alerted by Leverkusen's performance last season so they will play very seriously from the first match and try to get full points.

The addition of a new opponent means better performance for each team in the coming seasons. Next season we will see tough competition in the Bundesliga.
This is the modern era of football and everything have already changed. Things no longer use to be what they are, the rapid changes keep surprising everyone. The Bundesliga have mainly changed and we're now focused on Bayer Leverkusen that won the league title with unbeaten record. Bayern Munich and Borrusia have to step up their responsibility to track down their weaknesses and put an end to shocking defeats, they have to become stable in their form for the purpose to win major titles.
The Bundesliga title was easy for Leverkusen last season but I think the Bundesliga will be tough for this team next season. Just as Leverkusen did well from the start last season and earned points in every match, Bayern Munich may do the same next season and they will not want to drop points in any match. Because they have got the idea that if they lose a point in a match, they will fall behind in that match and it will be very challenging for them to recover those points and take the starting position again. But we all expect the competition to be much more in such tournaments as the league will become more attractive to the football world when other teams outside the known teams compete hard.

Goodnight, o_e_l_e_o 🌹
The clash between Leverkusen and Stuttgart at the weekend will show how good the teams are and whether they have lost performance. All eyes in Germany will be on them and Kompany in particular will find it very interesting to see their direct rivals. I'm also curious to see whether the two teams that were surprisingly good last year can maintain their performance from last year.
In the meeting between Bayern Leverkusen and Stuttgart, I expect a very interesting and complete game with a lot of energy and determination. I expect to see a game of experience and maturity. I mean I expect also the German Bundesliga to be as competitive as English Premier League and Italian serie A used to be. This is no longer the time that the show will be only on Bayern Munich and then Dortmund. This time around we got Bayern Munich, Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, Stuttgart and more teams that are ready to battle it out.

In the meeting between Bayern Leverkusen and Stuttgart, I expect Leverkusen to win the day. This will give spectators the impression that they are still as good as last season.

Before playing in the Bundesliga, these two teams will first compete for the DFL Supercup trophy which will be presented this weekend. Who do you think will win? Of course most will choose Leverkusen, especially since they have not wavered at all. We can also see that Stuttgart this season will not be strengthened by Guirassy so they do not have a dangerous goal machine like last season.

Leverkusen is certainly still confident in being able to win their first title this season after becoming Bundesliga champions with an unbeaten record and this title will be Xabi Alonso's third collection if he can win it for Leverkusen. But overall this will probably still be a difficult match to predict and I think Stuttgart knows that they have to stop Leverkusen as a warning if they can still be counted on for next season.
If you look at the Bundesliga standings last season, this match should be interesting, but the problem is that the current situation is a little different from last season where they also have new players and old players who have left, so inevitably it will definitely affect, especially this is their first serious match after they did the pre-season match. Leverkusen is the main favorite, that's what I think too. But I will not rule out the possibility that Stuttgart can provide a surprise. It could be that what happened in the Europa League last season will be repeated in this Super Cup final, where Leverkusen was very superior and very favored, but they were the ones who lost to Atalanta. This will be an opener for us to see the competition in the new season.
Not only in terms of standings but also their meetings during last season where it was almost impossible for that to happen. How could it not be, their two meetings resulted in one narrow win for Leverkusen and the other ended in a draw. Stuttgart was almost able to avenge their defeat in the second meeting last April. But unfortunately Leverkusen's mentality to maintain their unbeaten record continued by scoring an equalizer in the final minutes.

However, this time it feels like a different case where Leverkusen does not want to be conceded again, especially in the final match they have to make sure everything is okay. The incident at Atalanta gave them a big blow and they should not underestimate their opponents. I think Leverkusen knows very well the characteristics of Stuttgart and makes them more alert.

Apart from Bayer Leverkusen who are still very likely to be on the race to the title next season, but I also very much looking forward to Dortmund seems to be better with Guirassy in the Dortmund attack next season. Because after all, Guirassy also performed very impressively last season and managed to make Stuttgart finish in second place, and Guirassy became the top scorer for Stuttgart last season.

Thus, I personally believe the competition for the Bundesliga trophy next season will be very competitive, because besides Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen, of course there are still other teams including Dortmund. But with the great efforts made by Dortmund,  then in the end Dortmund still managed to get a Champion League ticket for next season it will still be great for them.
Bayer Leverkusen really displayed last season what they are capable of. They have the tenacity, the skill, and the ability to fundamentally alter events.
Guirassy is a goal machine. Consider what he accomplished for Stuttgart. He made them a main competitor. Should Dortmund play their cards correctly, he may be the missing component required to unleash their attack to the next level.

Dortmund is not flitting about this season. They are wise decisions and bringing in highly prospective athletes like Maximilian Beier. This is about creating a club that can rule, not only about covering roster deficiencies. Furthermore, they seem really robust.

Then there are clubs like Sahin's, which are engaging in some fascinating transfer market activity. Their might be the season's dark horse. Never know.

Even Dortmund lost Füllkrug to Westham and he is an awesome player for the long term i think they have done all right with Beier.
It was not only the injury of Guirassy that they tried to get Beier as they already haved him on the list for some time.
But now its for sure the best way to have another good young and talented striker that can play when the season starts.

Now they bought young Beier instead and will sell him for a higher price. If he shines well for a year or two, Beier can earn Dortmund big money. Guirassy will give the impression of being the other goal scorer.

Dortmund's main business is to make money by selling the best players in their squad. They have done the same this season too. Sold Niclas Füllkrug, one of the most talented players in the squad, for 30 million. And now again the Dortmund management will invest this money in the purchase of young players.

Maximilian Beier and Sehrou Guirassy have been bought by Dortmund management this season. While Guirassy is 28, Beier is 21 years younger. I think the Dortmund management is planning to sell Sebastien Haller for a very high price next season. Haller is a very talented player. Selling Haller would also benefit the Dortmund management financially.
Losing star players is not something surprising for us to see so far in Dortmund, in the last few seasons we have seen Dortmund lose Haalaand, Sancho, Belingham and currently Fulkrug has also left for Westham, but as usual Dortmund will always have young talent and substitute players which can actually make them a team to be reckoned with so far in the Bundesliga, Fulkrug and Sebastian Haller have been their mainstay players last season and we can see how big the contribution of these two players was for Dortmund last season in their journey in the Champions League, but still that is will not guarantee that they will remain in Dortmund for a long time.

This time, Dortmund has brought in Guirassy and also Maximilian Beier as fullkrug substitutes for next season and I think they will be quite a dangerous duo on Dortmund front line in the future, So far we haven't seen any rumors linking Sebastian Haller to other team, but if he capable Maintaining his performance next season of course Dortmund is just waiting for the time to sell him, currently he has a market price of around 12 million euros so that when an offer comes in which is greater than the market value then Dortmund will not think twice about letting him go next seasons.

This is Dortmund's fifth transfer of the summer as they continue to overhaul their squad under new head coach Nuri Sahin. Maximilian Beier is one of the breakout stars of the 2023-24 Bundesliga season and he will replace Niclas Fullkrug at Borussia Dortmund. While Guirassy was injured, I don't understand why coach Sahin didn't choose Youssoufa Moukoko but welcomed Maximilian Beier. Not only Moukoko but also Haller is just a backup plan. Even though I know Maximilian Beier is young, he was very calm on the pitch, and impressed with his speed, running spirit, and scoring ability. Perhaps Beier is a versatile player who can play well both as a center forward and a winger.

Meanwhile, Beier's move to the Champions League side would be a big step forward in his career.
It was a good move by Dortmund management and also a step forward for the player's career, but I still doubt Dortmund next season because I see Nuri Sahin is not an experienced coach and of course he needs an adaptation process with Dortmund so it is likely that Nuri Sahin will have difficulties in his first season.

Meanwhile, for Maximilian Beier who is still 21 years old, it is the right step to join Dortmund, this is very good for his career in the future.
As we know that quite a lot of Dortmund players have been recruited by other top European teams, maybe one day Maximilian Beier could be like that.

This is opening match before Bundesliga begin and this match is very interesting to watched because people are curious who will gets their first trophy this season and because Leverkusen still recognized as the strongest team in Bundesliga then they are the favourite and Stuttgart as underdog status and here is the current odds for Stuttgart and Leverkusen below

Leverkusen @1.84
Stuttgart @3.90

I would like to see Guirassy performance in this match because he will be fight against his former team Stuttgart however if i am not mistaken Leverkusen and Stuttgart never won the trophy from this event before and for Leverkusen we all know they got double winner last season and it could be fantastic if they can win this match and collect 3rd trophy under Xabi Alonso
It seemed to me that after Stuttgart sold several of their players, their results would worsen, but so far in friendly matches I see that at least their attack is in excellent condition, although I understand that these are only friendly matches, but the results are impressive in any case, but Bayer is not doing so well. Yes, this will be the first official match for these teams for the Super Cup, I will not try to determine the winner here, I think that you need to pay attention to the total, and perhaps specifically to Stuttgart's attack, because it looks like they will start this season in very good shape, and I think they will be able to score against Bayer.

Currently it will be safe to think that Leverkusen still have their confidence quite intact but I doubt if there's going to be an outright win because both team aren't weak and they are both competing for something that feels like a finals, a one time game so both are definitely going to put in their best to secure a trophy already so it feels like they have got a trophy at the beginning of the season already which can be considered that they are starting off the season on a good note. Nevertheless the higher probability seems to be around Leverkusen much more than it would be with Stuttgart.
I think this is good point. Bayer Leverkusen seems confident but it won't be easy win. Both teams are strong and want to win badly. It is like final game where only one team can win. Leverkusen has good chance but Stuttgart is not weak. Both teams will try their best making it very exciting game. It is great start to the season with both teams showing they really want to win. Leverkusen is good but Stuttgart wants it just as much so it is hard to predict what will happen. So let's wait and see who will perform well. Smiley

Yes I also see it so it seems like this will be a tough match for both teams, why not Leverkusen who are currently undergoing their preseason several times can not accept victory and better still with Stuttgart they almost finished very well in their preseason match, in my opinion Leverkusen has declined a little or even can be said their performance has decreased drastically that's why the beautiful season last season has now become a bad start for them, but preseason is not a reference that we can use to predict that but it seems Xabi must immediately make a reshuffle or evaluation of his team so that he can be better and improve his performance as soon as possible. But I think Stuttgard will give a tough fight in this Super Cup Final how could they not be more dominant at this time even though the opportunities given to them are greater but it all has the possibility that they will win this match or at least give a stunning fight in the match, if Xabi does not upgrade them as a team as a whole then they will regress again and it seems that will happen in the coming season, I still doubt it but I am sure Xabi can overcome it but not with this match this match will make him rack his brain because currently Stuttgard looks more shaken compared to Leverkusen.

Yes he has for sure some awesome stats for the last season and years for his age of 21.
I guess he wanted to make the next step to grow and also wanted to play on a higher Level by moving to Dortmund even there are a lot of other good players.
I don't remember exactly when and what age Haaland went to Man City. But Haaland at Man City received tremendous support so he was able to perform well. Man City's players have good control that helps Haaland perform well. Meanwhile, Beier at Dortmund is indeed a good step and it is an improvement. I don't know for sure if Dortmund is doing business or if they are indeed aiming for the championship next season. But indeed Dortmund is always good at bringing in young players then they are made better and sell more expensive.
Haaland was 21-22 when he got there, so considering he is 24 years old and it was two full seasons with City now, we can say he was 22. The difference is that Beier is already 21, so he can't be going to City level team in a single season.

But we can see at around 24, after three full seasons with Dortmund, if he is awesome and playing very well, he could be bought by some richer and strong team without a doubt. That is what Dortmund is aiming too, they are aiming to sell him for 100+ million in 2-3 seasons at best, which is not something they haven't done before, this team keeps finding talented players all around the world, pay 10-30 levels and then sell them for a lot more. Not sure if they will ever do like "let's get all 11 great young players" type of rebuilding ever, but looks like they are actually quite good so it will not be all that complicated if they ever try to do it. In any case they do not force their way, they wait until an opportunity comes.

Maximilian Beier is still 21 years old and he can play in some positions (CF, LWF, RWF). Sure, this player is good for a long term. I even assume he can be the next star players in Dortmund. However, I think he will play as a substituted player only if Guirassy and Haller are available to play. But it is no problem because he is still very young, he will have more time to play toward his development progress in Dortmund. The coach will give him more time to play if he can show great progress.

Dortmund to me are very smart for bringing in Guirassy from Stuttgart, I don’t know how they were able to deal that big move from Stuttgart to Dortmund because he’s their main striker there. This has now increased the strength of Dortmund in the forward position and will make them even bid more for the league title.
No doubt it is a great signing, I am very surprised that Dortmund signed him with very cheap price. Dortmund only spend 18 million Euros although his market value is around 40 million Euros. Moreover, he is one of the top scorers in Bundesliga last season, his price must increase in the market. But Dortmund scouts always did great negotiation, they know well how to buy a player with cheap price. Sure, Guirassy will be the main striker in Dortmund lineup now. Dortmund has a new machine goal for the next season, he surely will improve the attacking line of Dortmund.

My takes are Bayern Munich, Bayern Leverkusen, Dortmund and Stuttgart to finish in the top four positions in the bundesliga.

Guirassy signing wasn’t that too hard for Dortmund because the player in question wanted to leave Stuttgart and with his contract expiring next summer and his refusal to sign a New deal Stuttgart were just ready to offload him to any club that came there way, he is a brilliant signing that will add a different dimension to the Dortmund attack but he missed a chunk of last season through injury and with him being Injured again I will lower my expectations on him a little bit.
As for Stuttgart I don’t fancy them doing anything like a top 4 because I see clubs like Leipzig trying to get to champions league again, and also the likes of Freiburg will also be a threat too, moreover Stuttgart didn’t add many signings even after departures

Quote
Regardless of the position Dortmund finished from, they’ve made it to the champions league again this season and this is all thanks to their brilliant performance that saw them through to the finals of the competition last season. Dortmund can be a league contender along other top teams in the Bundesliga and this without doubt they can give a tough trial to other teams in the title chase

Aside signing Guirassy Dortmund were smart to add Beier to their squad he also a threat but still I don’t rate Dortmund at all most especially as genuine tittle contenders. They have had a better attack than this and still couldn’t win anything. they are just not there yet and their change of coach to Nuru Sahin is still an obstacle as he needs more time to adapt
Signing of players doesn't mean improving the club performance for example now let use Chelsea as an example, Chelsea are signing more player this season more than any club but am not still sure of them making the top four of the season when it ends, because you signing player when you already have good players, so it doesn't matter because if your performance is poor I don't think you signing more player will help improve the clubs performance, so Dortmund buying more players won't still make much impact in the clubs performance is better they use the one they have really good because they are more capable of making more impact than the one they are buying, in my opinion.

The competition at the top will of course be decorated by Dortmund, Bayern Munich and Leverkusen and maybe there will be a surprise from a promoted team. Looking at the process that occurred in the transfer market, there is certainly an opportunity for Nuri Sahin's team to show their toughness after they showed changes in the transfer saga. It may be difficult to predict, but with the level of change that occurred in the standings last season, of course there is an opportunity for other teams to show strong resistance to the favorite teams.

Their success in bringing in Maximilian Beier, of course, the gap left by Fullkrug was successfully closed because Dortmund again got new talent to polish into goal-hungry attackers.

So for Harry Kane this season is his second season with Bayern Munich, and will he be able to win the Bundesliga trophy because last season they had to admit that Leverkusen was quite a tough opponent.
