To stay unbeaten for so many games you have to have a lot of luck apart from a strong team and it just seems like they didn't have much luck against Leipzig and then you lose a match. Nevertheless, with the current team they have a very good chance of winning the Bundesliga title again. And in the Super Cup final Atalanta had more luck and Leverkusen somehow seemed to me to be unprepared.

It was evident that, with Xabi Alonso and Bayern Leverkusen, last season was not just about luck. When for 51 games in a row a team keeps on showing good performances, it is no more a fluke but the resultant effect of a coach’s acumen, tactics, and strategy. Alonso has already proved himself that he can guide his side to perform on different fronts. So, if he continues to do so, there is no reason why they cannot make an impact in the Champions League as well though the path is far from easy.

In the Bundesliga, they know their opponents better. While in the Champions League the challenges are greater. Because of a different level of competition. Alonso needs to maintain his team’s focus and work hard to be able to compete in these two major competitions. The key to their success does not lie in their individuality, rather it does not only lie in their individuality but also it lies in the teamwork and the coach’s clever strategy.

Leverkusen's position is just another surprising thing i don't even know what to say because the defending champions are in the  8th position and they might not be able to win the Bundesliga title this season because even if the season is just starting this is even a period were they have to tighten up their belt so that they can be able to win. and the players that Alonso signed this season are not doing him any good to me because if they are being productive they should not be hanging in the 8th position, the assumption is done by the kind of performance they are putting up and they are not putting up a good show and that is one of the main reasons i feel this season is not their season at all because 8th might be a number but not a good number to me at least for a start.


Leverkusen  the game has not become more serious they will not be able to continue other rivals that will come their way, and competing in the Champions League is not even in their capacity because the Champions League is much more different from the Bundesliga since Bundesliga is a domestic league champions league is comprised of other clubs from other leagues and even Leverkusen played against arsenal I thought the game was going to be tough but it was a flawless defeat. I think you should watch more of their game because have not seen Leverkusen  archiving anything serious this season,  but since everything is still fresh, so they can be able make their dream come through this season.

Although that joined a champion league will  be a challenges for Bayer Leverkusen, but I don’t see any thing there because the Bayer Leverkusen is able to keep unbeaten record in the Bundesliga las season even thought there are not able to deed the same thing in the champions league they will try their possibly best to keep their performances very strong as usual; so that they can have capacity face any of their opponents without facing to much pressure.

Furthermore, Xavi Alonso is a great coach that everyone are make proud is always put much efforts for his team to make sure they bring good outcomes in every of their matches, so in this case we should count out that Bayer Leverkusen will face challenges in the champions league.

With the experience Xabi Alonso used for Bayern Leverkusen in the Europa league last season, if he applies same coaching skills and tactics in the champions league they will go far and their progress in the champions league will be determined by team efforts and hard work and not depend on the ability of any player, just like they used concerted efforts to reach the milestone they had in the Europa league and in the Bundesliga last season, they still need that unanimous performance to sail through in the champions league and the Bundesliga. They need more consistency in the Bundesliga because the champions league may look difficult for them if we consider the caliber of teams they are likely to meet so they may not really have a smooth path in the champions league but if is the Bundesliga at least they are familiar with the teams there and they can do more better there.

What happened last week in the game against Leipzig will definitely make Bayer Leverkusen focus more on their performance because they were not expecting the result of the game to come out that way, which made them surprised at losing. I know Xavi Alonso will get the team ready for the future game; moreover, we all know that Xavi Alonso has done much for Bayer Leverkusen, and he will keep doing his best because this season will be a very challenging season for them, knowing that many teams in the Bundesliga came prepared for the season, so they will also focus on winning. 

It’s not something new that since Xabi Alonso came to the management of Bayer Leverkusen, everything has changed for good. He maintained an unbeaten record through out a season, a very good impact on Bayer Leverkusen and also on Xabi Alonso's career, but one thing is that this season will be a difficult season for Bayer Leverkusen because Dortmund and Bayern Munich are also ready for this title race, and with the way these two teams performances are increasing, it makes me believe that Bayer Leverkusen will face a tough time this season; even if they get the title, it will be easy as it was last season. 
 
I know that Xabi did his best to avoid too many changes that will affect the performance of the players so he will be able to maintain the same thing as last season, but since this season started, I have not seen any result that can convince that Bayer Leverkusen will be the same thing as last season, although the season just started, but Bayern Munich are back and their performance is good. 

We have to accept the reality that Leverkusen are not winning the Bundeslisga for two consecutive seasons, they might turn up to be among strong contender for the title but they are not yet showing that trait of being able to lift the trophy. Previous season was really a good one for them, even on their imperfection they still turn out with the late minute winner and considering they can't have same luck on this new season. I probably would stick by Bayern Munich as the winner of this season Bundeslisga title, they came back strong and more reliant to defeat as much teams just to secure the space back to holding their eleven years consecutive Bundeslisga title.

Adding quality players to a team is very important, and each coach needs to consider this every season. Adding star players to the team is a key way to strengthen it. I really expect Leverkusen to add more star players to strengthen the team, especially since they are in the Champions League this season and could go far in the competition. The Champions League is a very tough competition, and every team needs a better squad if they truly want to advance.

I know that Leverkusen has a strong squad, but adding more star players could give them a significant advantage. Even if those players are not in the starting lineup, they could be on the bench in case of injuries. Playing in the Champions League and other competitions can be very demanding, and having a deep squad is crucial. Leverkusen has not progressed very far in recent seasons and has already started losing matches. I hope this season favors them, but I don't think it will be easy for them to win the Bundesliga title again this year.

Bayern Leverkusen's loss to Leipzig indicates their inability to win the Bundesliga title this season. Xavi Alonso is likely to join Dortmund or Bayern Munich, who are performing well and finishing in the top four in the league table. Bayern Leverkusen will struggle to compete with larger clubs in the Champions League but anything can happens and he can shock us and Xavi alonso will achieve the trophy. but he won't be so easily to defeat madrid and Manchester City in the UCL because they are usually the favorite of winning the trophy. Let see how Leverkusen will end or they can be stronger after the the international break and perform great and win matches in the league, and because am sure Bayern Munich will definitely lose match too, they can't do unbeaten like Leverkusen because they have problems too but since they get new manager they have improved and topping to league let see how the competition will end.

If a team loses every time and looks weak, they should work hard and fight.  Yes, they can improve themselves, but unless one works hard, people will equate them with weakness and poor performance.  Although he doesn't work hard, if he plays well with his team, he will surely win the match.  Indeed, why not have a weak team, the condition is that they play with good performance and speed.  If you play with such performance, you will definitely lose.  If they win the match, no team gives the match easily to anyone.  It requires hard work and good performance and if they succeed in that, you will be really happy.  Yes, if the team that works harder then they deserve to win otherwise their efforts will be wasted.

They almost won the league a year before Leverkusen did, if they got the win on the very last game then they would have been crowned champions but they failed and because of that they are not looking that great right now, they had to sell some players, mainly Jude who they missed a lot but I think they are going to end up with great run without much issues because they got back on the horse and had some great transfers this season.

Is it possible for them to win? Sure, it's one of the possibilities, but I am not really seeing that as the probable thing, like they are not the favourites, I would say Bayern is still the biggest favourites to win and I think Leverkusen is probably the second one in that list, Dortmund could be third if you ask me, still above everyone else at least.

Bayern Leverkusen is not a team built to solely depend on one player and that’s the best for the team. Bayern Leverkusen are a very different team and it’s not being anchored by the quality of one player but the collective efforts of many of them. The champions league is a competition that every team will strive to come out with excellent results, in some circumstances it is not always easy especially for a team that’s yet to understand the competition very well, they will just be playing as a newbie in the competition. I don’t know how well Bayern Leverkusen can play well in this competition, but if they put in that effort they do put into the game when they play with other league teams, they can also do well in this competition and may become major contenders in the competition too.

Basically, since I knew Bayer Leverkusen first match this season in the Bundesliga, I felt that Bayer Leverkusen would not be as good as last season. Sure enough, because in the next match Bayer Leverkusen was defeated at home  and it was quite painful but even so, at least Bayer Leverkusen still managed to lead early in the match even though the final result was still difficult to maintain the advantage they had.

But, at least Bayer Leverkusen can still play aggressively and that was proven by the two quick goals they scored in the first two matches of this  season. With results like that,I think there is still a good chance for Bayer Leverkusen to stay in the title race this season. Although it will not be as good as last season, at least Bayer Leverkusen still has a chance. Regarding the candidate for the Ballon d'Or coach, I personally don't havemuch hope because afterall, I think this award can be manipulated, for example, like the Ballon d'Or player title which I think still has irregularities.

It would be unfair to judge Leverkusen defeat as the beginning of a decline, especially after they maintained an unbeaten streak spanning more than a season worth of matches. Xabi Alonso still has the same squad that locked up the Bundesliga trophy in May, the defeat will actually be a bit of a relief for the players, although the manager looked quite annoyed when Leipzig managed to turn things around and beat his team. It is not easy to continue to perform consistently, let alone repeating last season history, winning trophies is much more important than just those statistics.
Bayern Munich, in a decade, won the Bundesliga trophy in a row with a varying record of defeats in each season, 2 to 5 defeats in each season. Simply put, Leverkusen can also win the trophy again this season, even if they suffer a few defeats, not necessarily by being unbeaten.

The defeat that was greeted with the international break will be an opportunity for Xabi Alonso to evaluate the weaknesses of his squad, which at first glance seemed to lie in their defense which was easy to concede. In addition, the strategy used last season must be updated, because it has been read by the opponent. Leverkusen still look collective, but their intensity and ambition in the game have indeed decreased a little. With the same manager and players, Leverkusen can create a positive trend again in the next match against Hoffenheim.

The Leverkusen team is still strong enough to defeat any opponent this season, in my opinion, Xabi Alonso has signed about four players during the transfer window, so I don't see anything wrong with them, but we shouldn't expect them to play as well as they did last year, as they won the Bundesliga title without losing any game, they have only played two games this season, winning one and lose one, It would be wrong to assume that they won't win the league, I think Xabi Alonso has everything under control and they will return to their winning ways.

Furthermore, Leverkusen will face tough rivals this season, since they will compete in the Champions League, where they need to win every game. I won't be surprised or embarrassed if Leverkusen's performance did not go further this season, they had already achieved a lot this season, and it is not easy to win a treble, but I had strong confidence that Leverkusen was not done yet, and we would see more from them this season.

Been scared of Leverkusen isn't what I see, rather I see the lack of confidence in that they feel already they aren't a good matchup because of the records Leverkusen has got but loosing to Leipzig might literally reduce the threat they be posing in the bundesliga all this while because firstly it's now clear they can maintain an unbeaten record again this season so they are not actually undefeatable if only their opponents are mindful to challenge them well enough. Somehow I'm beginning to see signs that Leverkusen may not be the only strong contender for the title race, they are definitely going to have serious contenders in this season and they may likely loose the title so their fans should just keep their expectations realistic enough and they will be good.

Xavi Alonso will try his possible best to see that Bayer Leverkusen do something tangible in the Champions Leagues, in which he has to focus more on the teamwork, so I also don’t think he can depend on a star player because there is no point in that. What if they try to have a star player and he gets an injury in a game? That means they will have no point in winning a game unless if the star player is present. But if they focus on teamwork, they will achieve a good outcome, because their joining the Champions League is a challenge, which I know they will not be able to keep that unbeaten record of last season, but I am sure they will try the best in this season because Xavi Alonso is always there for the team.

Leverkusen after losing in the last match, this proves that Bayern Munich will undergo a different season from the previous season. In addition to the additional match schedule due to the new Champions League format, Leverkusen also has a heavy burden because winning the title by defending the title is something different because usually defending the title is more difficult than pursuing the title. I mean Xabi Alanso must immediately evaluate the previous performance and make the defeat a good sign to continue to improve the team to be even better.

Leverkusen must immediately rise when facing Hoffenheim later, especially on paper Leverkusen is superior to Hoffenheim so this will be easier to win. Because this victory is also important as capital to increase self-confidence before facing Feyenoord in the Champions League.

I fully agree on that , and Union Berlin is the best example how all can went from the best season to the most worst one.
Nobody have expected that Berlin will be going down like they did the last season , but its to early in this season to say anything how it will be going.
Maybe in a few weeks we can see and say more about Stuttgart and whats going on , for sure there will be a few surprises from different teams we not expecting.
