Next season is going to be a nightmare for Bayern Munich. Because they don't have a good coach anymore and Kompany can't race with Leverkusen at all. On the other hand, Leverkusen is not much stronger since they didn't lose any players but they hired some players, and Xabi Alonso is even more experienced and can perform much better than last season.
The wrong decision Bayern Munich made was about their coach and they should be lucky to get good results while they are racing with Leverkusen.
Which is what the entire world said when Kompany got hired, everyone knew that they would not be doing anything good, but we still ended up with this situation somehow, not sure what made them hire Kompany but they insist that he is the right man for the job and I think he is not but we could make that work somehow. In the end, we should be considering how we could improve, and that's why I think it is going to be something nice to see if Kompany could prove the world wrong and just win it all.

People said it, and I also complained about why they hired Komany as their manager, but I later thought and realized that Bayern Munich management will not make mistakes when it comes to things like this, and I believe they know the reason why they hired him, and they have their own reason for saying he is going to perform well even though the fans are not happy with the move. I think there is no option since the management insists that he is the best for them.

We all know people want Bayern Munich performance to be next season; they will want to perform aggressively to take over the table from the beginning of the season due to their bad experience last season, so do we think Kompany will do this? This is the question we need to ask ourselves, but the thing is that many people are judging Kompany based on his last experience in Burnley. Let us wait and see what Kompany will do before we conclude.

Imagine if they end up with an unbeaten season of theirs, that would be insane and even if it is not that much, they could still win the league back again and if they do that then people who doubted Kompany (including me) would be shocked and it would be a good story to tell. Or maybe just as we expect him to be, he will be a terrible manager and end up losing a lot.

Obviously, people will surprise, and even I will surprise, though nothing is impossible. Kompany may still have achieved this, but it is going to be a big challenge for him.

I know that Leicester and it is similar to what happened to Napoli in the Serie A league last season, I really consider this and also look at them, but the Odss difference is very far where Bayer Munich gets 1.49 and Bayer Leverkusen 3.50, a very far difference, even though we know that Bayer Leverkusen yesterday won and has an extraordinary history until the end of the season, is the bookmaker not in a hurry to determine the odds that have a very far difference?

I am very curious, what is the basis or what factors make a team get a much greater probability in a match that has not yet started.
Sometimes it happens that teams can become champions but the next season they can't repeat the same thing, often it happens because teams sell their players, but Alonso was able to keep all the players and was even active in the transfer market, which gives hope that Bayer will be just as strong. Such low odds on Bayern can be because they rarely have bad seasons and mostly dominate the Bundesliga.
The bookmakers were not fair with this odd difference between Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen; I never expected such odd difference because I know that Bayern Munich will make a great advancement next season.
Bayer Leverkusen on the other hand despite not losing any important player to any team, their pattern of play has been captured by so many teams and I don’t expect them to have a perfect season as they did last season because they will also be playing in the Champions League.
Again, Bayern Munich under Vincent Kompany looks like a team that has waken up from their bad days, they can be stronger than they were last season which shows that they can win the league ahead of Leverkusen and Dortmund.

Now did you make a point or not? I am confused. You say the bookmakers were not fair, so what? Do you want the difference in the odds be bigger or smaller? Man I can't stand posts like these when you take the time to read them and afterwards you feel like you lost some IQ points...

The odds make perfect sense to me. Bayern Munich is by far the biggest favorite based on history alone. In the last 12 years they won the title 11 times. When they don't win the title, it is usually because they messed up. In this case Bayer Leverkusen was far superior, which is a very seldom case in the Bundesliga and the probability that Leverkusen will show a similar performance like last season is close to zero.

I agree with you on this. Some coaches just make use of some players to know how well they can play under pressure or in a full match base on how they perform from preseason games. The use of big players is not necessary in preseason games when you’ve already known how they play and have tested them before, the focus is on young players that are awaiting promotion to the main senior team and the new players coming in to play for the main team. Preseason games are not a waste of time, it gives the coach a look on how things will be when he uses a particular player in a particular position whether it’ll benefit them or not going into the main season games.

Pre season is actually a good time to test the capacity of a player especially when you have young talented players you intend to use during the season or tournaments. When you use players in the pre season, you prepare them to face bigger challenges even though the pattern may be quite different. When the season begins, the competition is always tougher to the point it gets to use of professionalism to survive. This is the responsibility of players like Luka Modrich in the Madrid who comes to the game to stabilize the squad and motivate them to work harder. For coaches that understand this tactics, they try as much as possible to use those old professional players whenever the need arises. However, as far as pre season is concerned, it is a cornerstone to the developmental stride to a player during the season.

Yeah, I agree with you cause most coaches use the pre-season as an opportunity to select their best eleven against a new season and also access the form and level of performance of younger talents, to know those that would be included in the squad, those that would be loaned out and those who's time is up in the team.
Not all the time that coaches necessarily get their best eleven from pre season performance and that explains why some teams aren't playing with their complete squad in the preseason games, rather like you did later mentioned it's for younger talents mostly to further confirm their abilities and how well they can fit in to the squad and importantly they coach uses the opportunity to test and fine tune their strategies as they prepare for the season to kick off. This isn't found in the bundesliga alone, other leagues do have their coaches doing this too most of the time.

Bayern Munich received three rejections from three different managers, which is why they appointed Kompany as Tuchel successor next season. At first glance, rather than appointing Kompany, Bayern Munich would actually be better off retaining Tuchel, because in many ways Tuchel is much better. However, everything has been agreed, and we have to wait for the season to roll first to assess how Kompany performs in his first season. Kompany fate actually depends on how consistent Bayern Munich performs next season, especially in the hunt for the Bundesliga trophy with Leverkusen. To be fair, we should give Kompany time to prove his quality, even though we realize that the competition will be more competitive in the future. Meanwhile, the tight Champions League match schedule seems to make it difficult for Bayern Munich main competitors in the Bundesliga to appear balanced, this can be utilized well by Kompany.

Leverkusen will be a strong competitor for Bayern Munich like last season because Xabi Alonso is still the coach of the club and there is no doubt about his coaching system, but we also don't know what Vincent Kompany will do to his club whether it will be better or worse but I also favor Leverkusen over Bayern Munich because I know the Bayern Munich coach does not have good experience so in other words I doubt it I'm just trying to be realistic but if my doubts are wrong I'm also quite happy if in the end Bayern Munich can return to its best version.

The season has not yet begun, and you say that Kompany will not compete with Xavi Alonso next season. Bayern Munich is good, and I am confident that the coach will do his best to push Leverkusen and win the Bundesliga next season. If a coach is truly awful, he will not be hired by a major team, such as Bayern Munich. Everyone knows that Xavi Alonso is a very talented coach and he helped Leverkusen achieve the league, but next season will be a new season, you won't know what will happen, and it will be very difficult for Leverkusen to win another league next season. Dortmund are trying and they will challenge them if Bayern Munich fail to win the league. Kompany's failure to play well in Burnley does not guarantee that he will do so against Bayern Munich, let's see how the next season goes and whether Kompany performs well or not. I just want Bayern Munich to do their best and win the Bundesliga next season for Harry Kane, who has yet to win a European trophy and is getting older he has to win a title before retiring from football.

This will be one of the last friendlies before the start of the season, so it would be appropriate to look at the game of the main players, but perhaps there is no point in this since they will almost certainly be in the main team anyway, so they can be given some time to play, and I think Kompany will pay the main attention either to the newcomers of the team, or to the players on the bench, perhaps one of them will be able to show readiness to play. I don't know if Tottenham can be more prepared for this match, most likely the teams are at about the same level for now.
You are right. Also, Kompany could consider risking them since most of his big guns were absent in the 14-1 mauling of a ninth division Rottach- Ergen and if you ask me, I'd also say there was no point using them but in the game against Tottenham? Kompany will want to impress the management and show them that it wasn't a mistake to bring him on board as coach of the team and will try to pull out all the stops to ensure victory.
Ange Postecoglu is well versed in tactical play and it will be a matter of finishing what they started when Vincent was in the EPL and hence the game's going to be tough as expected.
True, teams will try to make sure their players get less injuries as much as possible being that the season will soon be underway and I believe this can be properly averted if the load is not resting on one person like in the case of Rasmus Hojlund at Man UTD.

Tottenham's Big Ange & Ben Davies faced the media today and asked for their thoughts about tomorrow's match against Munich

This is a friendly match so like Tottenham I do not think that the Bayern Munich coach is going to give a lot of importance to this match. There is no reason for anyone to actually be so serious about a friendly match. Because at the end of the day every friendly match is just a way for the coaches to actually try out different things that they think might work and do some experiment. Keeping all the players healthy is a big condition for Bayern Munich to have success in this season. And I think that is going to be the priority for the new coach of Bayern Munich.

Of course Kompany would like to impress the authority. They have seen him have success before. And they obviously have been impressed by him before and that’s why they have brought him in. You would not want to make them think that it was a mistake for sure. But I think he can only do that by winning the Bundesliga title.

I think the odds for Bayer Leverkusen are fair. At this point having a 3.50 odd is not a big deal. They won the league flawlessly last season but this is a new season and they haven't shown that consistency for their odd to be smaller than that at this time. Bayern Munich for example have won the Bundesliga over 8 consecutive seasons, so they have proven that they know how to win a league title. What I have an issue with is Bayern Munich's odd actually. I don't believe it should be that low. They have not made any major changes in players from last season and they have just hired a rookie coach that his chance of success right now is 60-40. I feel like Bayern's odd should be up to 2 and Leverkusen's should be good where it is.

I am very curious, what is the basis or what factors make a team get a much greater probability in a match that has not yet started.

Do you mean a match or a season?
If it's a match then you have to look at various factors like the current form of both teams. The team that is in better form might be the favourite.
You also look at which team is bigger among the two. Then there is the factor of available and unavailable players. How many important players will miss the match due to injury or suspension?
In some cases, the location of the match plays a role. It may not seem like it, but the team playing home or away may play a role in determining who is favourite.
This doesn't mean the favorite team will win though.

For some players, pre-season matches are an opportunity to show their quality. For example, for new players who are recruited, or for players with young talents who are motivated to show their performance. In the first match of this pre-season, Bayern Munich played many young talents including their center forward Mathys Tel who wanted to show his skills. In the second friendly match, again the 19-year-old player was fielded as the main starter. At least, as a young talent he was motivated to show his skills. In the match against Spurs, we do not know the starting line-up that Vincent Kompany will field. But considering that both teams will play home and away, plus Bayern's pre-season match before the real campaign, it is possible that Vincent Kompany will play his core players, although not all of them play as the main starter. Because, if I look at Bayern's schedule, they only have two friendly matches before the real campaign. The point is, before Bayern plays in an official competition, Kompany will play his core players for fitness, tactics and strategy, plus determining an effective system. so the important point is not about winning the match, but includes everything that the coach and his staff have planned. the new season is coming soon, therefore Bayern will prepare the performance of its players and we can review it after the real campaign starts.

Mathys Tel is a good player, he's showcased his skill in the previous season when Tuchel was head co but I believe he'll want to improve better to show the new coach that he's worthy of being in his squad this coming season, well he won't be in the starting eleven as a top 9 when the season kicks off, but I believe Kompany would give him more playing time and probably utilise him from the flank. Bayern would need to be very prepared against the task ahead, they have their title to claim back from Leverkusen and for that to be possible, Kompany should be getting his squad very fit and well prepared for the next season.

Nobody have expect such a drop in performance compared to the season before last , where they was on the top 4 on the table.
But i guess that this will not happen to Leverkusen and Alonso , maybe they will lose some games where the luck last season they got a draw.

Indeed, the chance of failure is still very likely to happen and of  course, I also believe Bayer Leverkusen will not be able to get a winning streak like last season or rather unbeaten in the domestic league. But even so, even though Bayer Leverkusen will get a few defeats in the next season, but to become a title-winning team is also a reality that can be realized despite a few defeats. Thus, Bayer Leverkusen will still have a chance to win the trophy again because after all, as long as Bayern Munich managed to get the Bundesliga trophy in a row, Bayern Munich also had some losing results in the season.

Therefore, winning the trophy is not only about the success of playing matches without defeat, but about the competition that occurs at that moment. After all, if Bayer Leverkusen has a few defeats but at the same time the competing teams get more defeats also Bayer Leverkusen will still get the trophy. Although indeed, there is still no guarantee that Bayer Leverkusen will succeed in getting the Bundesliga trophy next season, but for some reason I believe Bayer Leverkusen still has a good chance.

Whatever the result of a friendly match will not show the true performance of a team. But the trial match will be a good experience and record for the coach in implementing effective tactics. As I said before that in a friendly match the core players will not be played fully.
Indeed, we should ignore the results of preseason matches and even if we want to make an analysis, so we better see from how they play or the strategies they use and also the players they send down. If we only look at the results of the match, then it is not right, because during a match like this they do not talk about the results but rather to see from the process. If they are concerned with the final results then it is not good, because they will do everything possible and it is at risk for players.

Not felt after we are at the end of the season and watching the last match last season, now we are now in a phase where all clubs make preparations including doing preseason matches. I can't wait to wait for the new season to come, I want to see a match every week and also make a bet in several bands on every week.

In football, sometimes we have to insert a little hope, because in football anything can happen. Although Xabi Alanso was successful in Leverkusen, it is not certain that this season he can repeat it like last season. Bayern Munich has a good squad, and Kompany cannot be said to be successful as a coach, but when he coaches Burnley and Bayern Munich, of course it will be different, especially in terms of player material. Bayern Munich players are no longer in doubt. So I don't want to underestimate Kompany, Bayern Munich must still be taken seriously by Xabi Alanso in the fight for the Bundesliga title this season.
I also quite agree to say that Bayern Munich is a team that must be watched out for by every other team in the Bundesliga, including Bayer Leverkusen itself. Because besides it is not necessarily possible for Xabi Alanso to repeat what he did last season in the Bundesliga through Leverkusen, the Bayern Munich team itself can also change to be different next season even with a new coach. Because Kompany is only tasked with developing and polishing the players who are already experienced enough at Bayern Munich with more suitable tactics so that Munich will not be left behind again like last season.
What happened to Leverkusen last season is still considered a miracle in one season so many people are still very doubtful if Leverkusen achievements last season will be repeated next season, to be honest, I personally really agree with this assessment because it is based on previous experience we can see that the surprise of a team only occurs for one season, but the next seasons the team experiences a downturn, we also cannot guarantee that Leverkusen will be able to maintain last season performance next season, because Leverkusen success last season cannot be separated from the decline in Munich performance and Dortmund in the league, Munich which is currently starting to improve their squad, of course we cannot underestimate if they will to dominate the Bundesliga again in next seasons.

I know that about unstable performances in the new season because there are many who experience such things after the team goes crazy one season and then goes downhill.
That's why I think they are in a hurry, Xabi Alonso can retain his players and convince many people with him, is it just because Bayer Munich always dominates the Bundesliga then they give a special seat to Bayer Munich?

Maybe our eyes are blind to their judgment, there is something we don't know, it's possible, but it attracts my curiosity.

Bayern Munich now have a problem, it will be competitive enough to make the ones serious. Bayer Leverkusen greased the entire competitive race for them to be smooth and free up from the shackles of defeats. That's exactly what a good coach brings to the table, he knows when to divert and go in search of new formation for his team. Always play major role as the front-runner of the club, Xabi Alonso deserves all the accolades he could possibly lay hands on them.
What Xabi Alonso has done at Bayer Leverkusen deserves awards and praises as he is able to change a team that used to be unable to win into a team that won in a full season. And that will continue to be done by Xabi Alonso at Leverkusen next season so that it may remain a serious problem for Bayern Munich next season which will be handled by their new coach and targeting better results too. However, I am still more confident for Leverkusen than Munich next season because considering Leverkusen is still coached by Xabi Alonso and there are still some old players in the Leverkusen squad itself.

As far as Xabi Alonso remains Leverkusen's coach the team will always remain strong and be able to win a title, Xabi Alonso deserves praise and also be counted as one of the best managers in football history, he did what some coaches have never done in their careers before, he leads the team to win two trophies in a season, Leverkusen, the team has not been able to win the league title since many years but he makes a good formation by signing new players and build them and win trophies, Xabi Alonso is a legend as a player and also as a coach, Bayern Munich fails to win the league title last season and I will not be surprised if they still end up this season without a single trophy.

The reason why I said that is because Leverkusen is still a very strong team and if Xabi Alonso remains the coach the team will still be competing with Bayern Munich to win the league title this season, Bayern Munich has good players and also they have brought another coach which makes some people think that Bayern Munich is ready to win a trophy, well I think we should calm down and wait the league should start and see what Bayern Munich and the new coach is capable of doing and we can judge them from that.

Bayern Munich seems to be gambling with Kompany, he is not a great coach and his experience is also very minimal, but Bayern Munich is still determined to bring him in even though his biography as a coach is nothing special. Bayern Munich will certainly face difficulties in Kompany first season as coach, the increasing competition due to the increased performance of their rivals is a big challenge for Bayern Munich who want to win the Bundesliga again.
Xabi Alonso is still in charge of Leverkusen, his squad is intact and he will likely bring in new players to add to the quality of his squad. Leverkusen toughness will continue because there are no changes in the squad, Kompany is certain to lose to Leverkusen because the players are in high confidence after winning the Bundesliga trophy.
Appointing Vincent Kompany as manager is bigger gambling for Bayern Munich with their speculation next season because less experience and he failed last season after relegating Bunrley to EFL Championship.
Vincent Kompany had bad experienced with his career manager after dropping his previous team relegated and appointed as Bayern Munich manager make him get huge pressure will success for the first season bring Bayern Munich winning domestic league tittle?

Indeed as big gambling after appointing Vincent Kompany as manager, Bayern Munich management fully  support him by signing several players he want and right now under Vincent Kompany have signed several players. Not big challenge for Xabi Alonso looking Vincent Kompany record as Burnley manager last season and I think Bayern Leverkusen still become most favorite teams for defending their Bundesliga trophy for next season.
