Playing at the opponent's home ground didn't make Dusseldorf panic, they actually enjoyed it when they visited Bochum's home ground, even though this match really determines where the two teams will play next season, but seeing that in the first match Bochum conceded 3-0 without replying to their guest Dusseldorf, now Dusseldorf can be a little sighed for the second match which will be played at home.

Bundesliga has send 8 teams to playing at European Competitions this season and they have 5 representatives to play in the Champion League and 2 teams to playing at Europa League and Heidenheim was benefited of the result between Leverkusen vs Kaiserslautern because after Leverkusen is being an the winner of this match then automatically Heidenheim will playing at UEFA Conference League however i think as promotion team of last season Heidenheim achievement is very fantastic this season because they can finish at 8th place and they will playing at UEFA Conference League and if i am not mistaken this is Heidenheim first experience to playing at European competitions

Besides Heidenheim i think Hoffenheim progress under Pellegrino Matarazzo also very impressive because within a season Pellegrino Matarazzo can improved Hoffenheim final position on League Table which Hoffenheim current position is much better compared to last season and finish at 7th place and after absense 3 years finally Hoffenheim can return to Europa League again

Losing 3 goals in the first leg is a number of goals that will be difficult for Bochum to catch, yes, it looks like they will fail to survive in the Bundesliga next season. Florian Wirtz is one of the young players who is very important for Leverkusen and so far during his time with Leverkusen, especially under the leadership of Xabi, he has shown very competitive quality of performance so it is unlikely that Leverkusen will let Florian Wirtz go easily.

I completely agree Leverkusen success this season under Xabi leadership has been truly impressive. While it is natural for fans to have their own expectations sometimes going against grain can lead to even greater improvements. Defending their title won't be easy especially with powerhouses like Bayern Munich and other strong contenders. However with Xabi at helm and addition of more talented players I believe Leverkusen has the potential to rise to the challenge and continue their upward trajectory. Xabi guidance and the team determination will be key to their success in the next season.

Yes, definitely. For Leverkusen and other clubs, Leverkusen's achievements this season under Xabi have been truly fantastic. It doesn't need to be in accordance with everything the fans want, because, sometimes this is precisely what can make Leverkusen become much better and stronger in the next season. Although it might be quite difficult to defend the title, because of course Bayern Munich and other clubs are competing closely. However, as long as Xabi is still there and they can get more pro players, Bayer Leverkusen should be able to handle it very well.

Düsseldorf is a great team who is currently in the top three, I am not sure Bochum will win this match because the opponent they face is quite strong and difficult to beat. but we know that when in the field anything can happen. Here there is still a possibility that Düsseldorf will give Bochum a chance to win and survive the relegation zone.

It's good to have competition within the team and now that Leverkusen will play in the Champions League, I guess they will try everything they can to keep the team intact as it is and maybe add two or three super talented players.

Does anyone know whether there are confirmed transfers yet? There are lots of rumors as the players now draw a lot of attention from other top clubs, but I can't find any information whether it is safe that some players will leave the club. I am sure though that there will be lots of offers for some of the best players.

After such an unbelievable season it is hard to believe that none of them will leave the club for a lot of money and Leverkusen may not be able to resist. I wonder what happens if Bayern really offers 100 million for Wirtz.

Now since the season is over, the teams are trying to improve the team and hire more and better players for their teams to have better performance in the next season. But, I think considering the performance of Xabi Alonso and his players during this season, the main goal for Leverkusen should be keeping the players they have and they should try to have a more stable team.
If they can have the same performance in the next season, they can be definitely the main team to race for the Bundesliga title and they can even have hope for the Champions League.

Even if Xabi ends up not been able to defend the championship in coming season, I'm most definite that he's going to finish top four on the table and not like their former status where they do finish around the sixth or seventh position on the table to be able to make it to Europa most times, I think this season is going to be the dawn of à new era for them in the bundesliga unlike other seasons.

The ability of Xabi to be able to mobilize all of the players in the team to the point where they were all useful at same time such that there was no absolute dependency on any one rather it was a team play such that the productivity of the team will sum up to been a glory for all and now one have a personal interest that gets to disrupt the common interests of the team, in the end winning together was just the best and it was what got the this far that they have not been able to attain In a. Very long while., Leverkusen will be able to still achieve much if they continue in same spirit.

This team spirit is something Leverkusen seem to have on a different level such that most others do not have and has given them the advantage over others which has aswell gotten them all the records they have been able to make this season but then Bayern Munich isn't a weak team either as they may come back next season for the title and so Leverkusen shouldn't see it like they have been able to achieve enough already.

The defeat was very painful because Bayer Leverkusen has made up their mind to win all the trophies they are involved in this season and the manager Alonso did underrate Atalanta based on their League performance and their current standard forgetting that they kicked their main rivals Liverpool out of the Europa League to ease the pressure for them despite knowing that Liverpool is very good compare to Atalanta; and Alonso forgot that Atalanta is a team with record over them and they like keeping records just as they maintain their winning streak against Liver pol at Anfield.

There is no doubt, Leverkusen had a perfect season, they are the only team to have such record this season, they only lose the Europa League but they won the remaining two trophies undefeated.

All Leverkusen players now have an upgrade in their individual rating, some of them will become world class and some will definitely leave the team because there will teams that will start hunting for the players because of their outstanding performance.
