What Xabi Alonso has done at Bayer Leverkusen deserves awards and praises as he is able to change a team that used to be unable to win into a team that won in a full season. And that will continue to be done by Xabi Alonso at Leverkusen next season so that it may remain a serious problem for Bayern Munich next season which will be handled by their new coach and targeting better results too. However, I am still more confident for Leverkusen than Munich next season because considering Leverkusen is still coached by Xabi Alonso and there are still some old players in the Leverkusen squad itself.
Normally Leverkusen still been coached by xabi will be a good reason for people to think Leverkusen is going to continually remain untouchable but the fact remains that they are not going to find it as easy as they did last season and if only others like Bayern Munich is determined, they can be able to be a challenge to Leverkusen such that they can even get to the point where they took can have a chance with any of the trophies they will be hoping to win as they couldn't get any trophy last season.

While I do agree that Xabi and Leverusen trying one more time means that they have a chance, lets not give them a high chance just because they won it last year. We have seen many smaller teams do amazing for one season and then suck another season, so we could totally see them not do that well this year. I understand that it will hurt all of their stock value, but they may still end up not being that great.

These are the odds for next season champion in the Bundesliga. You see how much Bayern Munich are favoured anyway.  Smiley  Is it surprising though? I think it isn't. Because just because Leverkusen became champions by being very dominant one time, bookmakers can't favour them all of a sudden. Bayern Munich are still far ahead of any other team in general.

However we will see how Xabi Alonso will answer that this time. 3.50 are nice odds to make use of. But not useful as long as betting a small amount on it. Honestly I don't want to think of placing any outrights bet before watching some performances.
The bookmakers are underestimating Bayer Leverkusen with odds like that in my opinion, yes although I also know not a few teams that in the first season experienced a very significant increase then experienced a significant decline also in the next season after getting the best position like Napoli, but I don't think the bookmakers are very confident with kompany can beat Xabi Alonso easily.

I think in this match it is better to bet on Bayer Leverkusen, the structure in Bayer Leverkusen has not changed and Xabi is still focused on his goals, we cannot look down on him just because of such simple speculation.
I don't really think that betting companies are underestimating Bayer Leverkusen with their odds. Leverkusen have only won it once in a very long period of time, and it's very possible that they won't win it next season. We've seen teams that have won different leagues and competitions. Let's just take Leicester City, for example. If we haven't forgotten, in the 2015/2016 season, Leicester won the Premier League. But since then, have they tried to win it again? No.So, if we consider the favorite to win the Bundesliga, it's Bayern Munich. They have been winning it for several seasons, except for last season when they weren't able to win it. That doesn't mean they don't have higher chances of winning it than Leverkusen. Despite Bayer Leverkusen winning the Bundesliga last season, they still don't have the quality players like Bayern Munich.

So, if we consider some factors to determine the team likely to win next season's Bundesliga, the odds given to Leverkusen are not because betting companies are underestimating them. I'm not saying they can't win it, but the truth is that they are not favorites to win it like Bayern Munich.

I want to see how much observers think that Leverkusen will be able to continue their good trend this season. I think there will be big pressure for Xabi Alonso this season because in his first season he was so successful and if he fades this season of course his good work will only last for 1 season. However, if Xabi Alonso succeeds in maintaining this season's journey with great concentration with a series of wins and competing at the top, then his career as a coach will be even better and worthy of being on par with other top European coaches such as Pep or Ancelotti.

On the one hand, Leverkusen did not build the team with big money like Bayern Munich did, so Leverkusen's strength will be difficult to predict this season. Indeed, when another team appears with the best strength, that's when we will see competition that is more interesting and not boring.

Bayern Munich now have a problem, it will be competitive enough to make the ones serious. Bayer Leverkusen greased the entire competitive race for them to be smooth and free up from the shackles of defeats. That's exactly what a good coach brings to the table, he knows when to divert and go in search of new formation for his team. Always play major role as the front-runner of the club, Xabi Alonso deserves all the accolades he could possibly lay hands on them.

Yes indeed, although maybe Bayer Leverkusen will not get a winning streak like last season, but I still believe Bayer Leverkusen will remain strong in the race for the Bundesliga trophy next season. Because after all,  Bayer Leverkusen will also play in the Champions League, and of course Xabi Alonso will also make his best efforts to make Bayer Leverkusen go further in the Champions League. With these factors, it seems difficult to repeat their success last season without defeat.

But anyway, because Bayern Munich are still likely to be difficult to get great dominance like when they won consecutive trophies. Then of course, it will make other teams in the Bundesliga will make their best efforts also to get success like Bayer Leverkusen. With the decline experienced by Bayern Munich like that, then I believe the competition in the Bundesliga will become more competitive because other teams currently have the chance to be at the top of the standings.

I would say that Bayern Munich will not play in this match aiming to win against Tottenham. Vincent Kompany will try to test his squad's ability in this match. At the same time he will experiment with his match strategy. Kompany is not an experienced enough coach. So it will be challenging for Kompany to keep the performance of this Munich squad stable.
I think Kompany will keep his core players but will not play the full match. The friendly match against Tottenham will be a real challenge for Kompany. If Kompany only plays bench players or young players then he will not be able to evaluate the tactics that he will apply. This will make things more difficult when the competition starts. I think every team that has a new coach will use pre-season games as an evaluation material, and some teams with a solid squad will play pre-season games as an experience for their bench players or young players.

it should be, or at least Vincent Kompany can play will play his core squad in the remaining two pre-season matches they play. although usually key players will not be played in full, or just to maintain the fitness of the team. yes, apart from so that players do not experience bad luck and injury. but at least, at least the core players will be played either only in the first half or towards the end of the match. this is quite important and not only as an evaluation material, but includes many things. in the match against Spurs, Bayern will most likely not play their full core players. some are rested and others as usual only play as a warm-up. as I said, apart from the system experiment, evaluation and so on.

On the other hand, it is not certain that Spurs will also field their core squad. after all this match is a friendly match, apart from all the plans and efforts that the coaches have previously prepared, starting with tactics, strategies, systems and so on. we can also refer to the odds for both teams, both Bayern or Spurs, both have pretty good odds and my speculation is that this match has the potential to end in a draw. well, both the first and second posts, there is nothing wrong with that. we will find out when these two teams meet, and examine and review the results of this friendly match.

The bookmakers are always going to favour Bayern Munich just as they'll favour Manchester city in the premier league to win the title. Bayern Munich has been a dominate club for so long that it is going to be impossible to overlook them of winning the season. For my opinion, the only thing that can make them to not win is their coach but it Vincent Kompany uses his sense very well. He will be capable of winnings the title. He has the players and the money to buy who he wants. The board members are backing him and everything might just work out very fine for him if he doesn't get buried in the pressure that come to win the title.

The Bundesliga has not yet started, and actually, we can't fully say much about it now. Kompany can be a better head coach for Bayern Munich that may lead them to achieve some trophies, as he has quality players on his side now. Last season, when Burnley was playing in the Premier League, I didn't think they had many quality players that could compete in the Premier League. But let's wait and see what will happen; the season is very close to starting.

Although the company is a great manager and is true because he always tries his best to bring more quality players to any teams that they transfer him to, in this case, I am fully sure that the company can make Bayern Munich's performance better in the coming season. But the only thing I still double about Bayer Munich is there consistency. They're lack of inconsistency; they can only start the league with good performances, and if the league is coming to an end, they will relax.

According to how many people are anticipate this coming Bundesliga, it will be much tougher than last season. With the way I can see, every team are trying to sign a better squad, but football is all about win or lose, so one most happened.

Bayern Munich is a big club with a fantastic reputation. The league favored them last season, resulting in their loss of the League Cup and Champions League. If you look at the players that Bayern Leverkusen has and compare them to the Bayern Munich group, you will notice that Munich has more experience than Xavi Alonso. The odd that they put they rate the clubs and next season will be tough because Munich won't let Leverkusen get the opportunity and win them and get the chance of getting the Bundesliga title anymore, and that is why they leave Tuchel and bring new coach because they are ready for Next season to battle with the clubs that try to challenge them in the league.

Harry Kane still wants to win titles before retiring from football, and if the new coach does his best, I am confident he will defeat Xavi Alonso and win trophies for Munich next season, because I don't see any clubs that can stop Leverkusen if not Munich. Dortmund isn't doing well because they try in the UCL but not in the league. And Munich has a friendly game against Tottenham, let us see if Munich's new coach has the chance to win the Premier League clubs. Tottenham is a tough opponent, but since it is a friendly, I don't think they will put out much effort.

Vincent KOmpany is not taking any risk at this time. Kompany will certainly not want any key player in his squad to suffer an injury before the start of the season. Harry Kane is the most important player and scorer in Bayern Munich's squad. If Kane faces an injury, it will be very difficult for Bayern Munich to continue their good performances next season. So Harry Kane is likely to be out of the squad for both friendlies against Tottenham.

What matters most is testing the players and their capabilities, him not been experience will not just come if he doesn’t try those players out. He has a lot on him for next season and I hope he’s able to do well with the good squad he has in his team. Vincent Kompany since given the position of the head coach of Bayern Munich have received a lot of negative comments on him too small to handle a big team like Bayern Munich but it doesn’t look like that to me. He might be the best choice for the team that they may be waiting to come all along. If he’s able to take Bayern Munich to triumph next season, he’ll be well sought out for by new clubs and his time at Bayern Munich can as well be extended and get an increase in salary. We just have to wait to see what he can offer as the new coach of the giants of the German league.

Vincent Kompany understands the importance of Harry Kane in his squad and that's why he's currently doing everything to make sure he's protected at all cost so he doesn't pick up any injury that'll sideline him from playing in the club's opening games of next season. Vincent Kompany have been saddled with the responsibility of making sure he delivers at least one major trophy for the Bayern Munich team next season and for a manager who wants to inscript his name in the history book of the club who appointed him a manager against most public opinions, you should expect nothing but the best from him. I think Bayern Munich under Vincent Kompany will have a successful campaign next season.

I don't know why Kompany experience is underrated this much. You cannot say anything about Kompany's performance in Bayern Munich as of now because you have not seen any of his matches and you haven't seen the type of strategy he will be using when playing, but I can see that you have already concluded that Kompany has not experienced enough. Kompany has promoted a team for the Premier League before, and I think even that achievement is enough for us to have some credibility that he can manage Bayern Munich successfully even if it does not start coming immediately, though all I believe is that Bayern Munich management knows why they signed him as their manager.

I think people are underrating Kompany based on his past performances, and that is how it is supposed to be. Players and head coaches are always judged based on their past performances. Kompany has coached only one team, which I think is Burnley. From the record, Burnley was not that great. Kompany coached Burnley and got the team promoted to the Premier League from the Championship but later got them relegated again. So, from my observations too, if Kompany had been a great head coach, I don't think Burnley would have gotten relegated.

After many cases in pre-season matches, of course coaches are reluctant to put their key players in matches like this because somehow their opponents sometimes do not take it easy but instead become serious to get the win. In fact, if all players are more open-minded and do not need to make hard fouls, then this can be avoided and here maybe the concerns of both parties are also difficult to understand.

It is better to rely on young players and only include a few of their main players to avoid a more intense match. I think both Spurs and Bayern Munich certainly know the risks involved and we can only hope that everything goes well until the referee's long whistle and everything goes without any problems. Harry Kane might want to play against his former team but he must put that aside first considering he has a realistic target to win his first title with Bayern Munich.
What is the point of such a match, where everyone will try to play carefully, so that nothing bad happens to the players, for this there are training sessions where you can play at half strength. But on the other hand, Manchester United has already injured 4 players in friendly games, and this could become a very big problem for ten Hag before the start of the new season. The Кompany needs to assess the players' form, and which of them is better prepared for the new season, for this we need friendly matches, where the players will have to engage in physical confrontations, there is no way around it.
Sometimes matches like this can harm a team and even in training sessions there are often things that can harm the team, but I consider it to be something else that cannot be predicted to come. But when they do this, they should be more careful and anticipate things that can make them lose. I think everyone does that, it's just that other factors can be a factor that results in this happening.
It is also unfortunate when the team loses players at the time of warming up or friendly matches, because it will make them back to compile a strategy until the player really recover Being unable to achieve what they want. This is a valuable lesson for them, they will get the same situation anywhere anytime, so this is why the importance of having a squad that can cover one another so that they can move quickly when facing a problem.

This match will be very interesting, both popular clubs will face each other to show how their young players perform.
Everyone will be looking forward to this match and hope that Harry Kane will also appear against Tottenham but I don't think Vincent Kompany will take a reckless way out that could injure a main player.
So most likely Bayern Munich will only appear with young players as before and I just want to guess if Bayern Munich has to accept defeat because Tottenham will win the match.
I don't mean to say Bayern Munich is weak but believe me this is just a pre-season match that always gives surprises.

So far Tottenham have managed to achieve positive results in every friendly match they have played, while Munich actually experienced a little difficulty in the last friendly match they played so far, the match against Tottenham will be played on a home away system which means they will play two matches as a team away and home on 3 and 10 August, for the kompany the match against Tottenham will be very meaningful because they will face the first big team in the kompany coaching in Munich, so I think maybe the kompany will not try to field the majority of young players in that match, because I saw that in several friendly matches played by Tottenham, Tottenham often played more of their main players than young players, so facing Tottenham should be an opportunity for Kompany to prove that he is worthy of coaching Munich even though he continues to be doubted.

Every friendly game has a lets say a 50 % chance that players maybe getting injured , specially before the season starts where everybody wants show his playing to the coach.
Saddly that in case for Manchester United already 4 players are effected , but other teams from different leagues have facing the same problem , the one less the other more.

I think it's clear that we are going to be seeing Leverkusen have a short sting, while Bayern will keep being great.
I will be not to sure that Leverkusen have only a short sting and that Bayern Munich will be great.
Maybe we will see some other Team will step up the coming season or Leverkusen making nearly the same as last season.
Even Munich will be one of the favorites its not as it was the last 4 years.

The friendly match can be considered for the fitness only. But i think it's not that bad to use the key players in this game to measure how good their gameplay is. We knew that Kompany always struggled against Tottenham when at Burnley. It's now time to test his Bayern squad's depth against them.
However, Bayern may use mostly their youth players against Tottenham. But, I'm sure a few key players will start. It's also confirmed that if Kane is not going to play against Tottenham soon.

I believe Tottenham will use the same formation as the game against K-league. Most probably this formation, but a minor change may happen too.

However, I have no info on Bayern Munich's lineup. But Kane won't play, and that's it.

Well, this match will not have Harry Kane. This may be a wise choice, that way Harry Kane will not be under pressure.
I think Spurs have gone much further in their pre-season planning and should be confident of winning, although Bayern Munich are much favorites to win against Tottenham. But the absence of key players makes Bayern Munich players face big challenges in finding victory in this match. Bayern, they are still struggling to assemble the squad under a new dynasty. Coach Kompany certainly wants to win against a strong opponent, this is an opportunity for him to strengthen the fans' confidence. Obviously, with little experience, Kompany cannot help Bayern fans feel secure before the new season.

Xabi Alonso gives the maximum benefit that can be given to a team. Bayer Leverkusen became a good team with him. His players are currently taking the world by storm. Xabi created the players that every team wants to see in their team. That was the most difficult thing. Xabi achieved it and Bayern Munich wants to reach a better level with the new coach. I am afraid that if they do not achieve this, there will be no trace of Bayern's old dominance.
Bayern may not be as dominant as they used to be, but they are still Bayern and it would require a lot more than just losing a few times than make them be bad. Remember, Bayern didn't always win the title before their big run neither, and yet they were always at high levels, they weren't a bad team before that run neither, and they won here and there.

What made them so great is that they are managed very well, meaning that financially speaking they have a system that allows them to keep being a good team, even if they suck for a while, the economy they have would allow them to make sure that they get back on the top eventually.

I can guarantee you that even if they do not win it this year, which is a big if, then they will win it some time soon anyway. This is why what Leverkusen is doing could be considered harder, they have a lower chance, because they have Xabi and a good team now, but in five years none of them will be there and they will not be a good team at all, they do not have the economy that Bayern has, and that is why it's a lot harder situation without a doubt. I think it's clear that we are going to be seeing Leverkusen have a short sting, while Bayern will keep being great.
