fc augsburg is interested in Tajon Buchanan from the american msl - the right winger is expected to join augsburg in winter

Quote
Tajon Buchanan has been a revelation for the Canadian national team at the Gold Cup this summer. The 22-year-old winger, who can also play as a left-back has been fantastic replacing superstar Alphonso Davies for John Herdman's side. The New England Revolution star has been linked with a transfer to Europe for some time and it appears that Bundesliga side FC Augsburg are now among the frontrunners.

Haha oh my god, anyone saw the results for Schalke against Hamburg? The Schalke guys continue they way they played the whole last season. It would be really funny to see Schalke lose the first five or six games. They would get so nervous, probably starting the plans for third league! Cheesy
Why I was not surprised to see such poor results because simply I was expecting it that clown mode button is still ON in Schalke setting. They will fight for the top bottom position this season too tho...
The schedule for the 2. Bundesliga war already published. The opening game will be held between Hamburger SC and Schalke 04.
-snip-
Why Schalke 0 is so lucky to always start the first game? Will they continue playing in clown mode and receive 8 eggs again or did they improved? I see they made some transfer and get back some loaned players without getting any one new in the attack line.
The other game Bremen finished 1-1 vs Hanovre.

If Chelsea don't sign Haaland, they will most likely go for Lewandowski or Lukaku. I'm curious whether Lewandowski would want to go to Chelsea this summer. But it seems to me that there is a really low probability for it to happen. Because I think that not only Bayern but also Lewandowski wouldn't like this kind of a deal now. Lewandowski is really happy there.
Both Halland and Lewandowski will stay in the bundesliga. Especially Lewandowski he is really happy in Bayern and has won everything he can and made some big records with them so i dont see a point of changing clubs. Halland can leave but i think we are already too close to the start of the season for him to leave
That's right, the fact that Lewandowski has already won everything possible in the Bundesliga can encourage the Polish player to change the situation and move to another championship. I don't think that Bayern will allow you to make a transfer to some other German club, but to a foreign club quite. But still, I continue to believe that the transfer of Haaland is much more likely in this summer transfer window than the potential departure of Lewandowski from Bayern. But if a butterfly can cause large-scale natural phenomena on the other side of our planet with its wing flap, then the departure or abandonment of a Norwegian player in Borussia can really affect the transfer market in the most incredible way. By the way, Lewandowski doesn't seem to have made any statements recently about how happy or unhappy he is in Bayern.

I don't think that would happen at all. Lewandowski is a superstar in Bayern and break all records. He can fit anywhere but I don't think he would like to go and play in Premier League. If he makes a transfer that would probably be Real Madrid. I still think he won't leave Bayern this season.
Dortmund said they don't want to sell Haaland after Sancho move but money talks you know. If they get something like 180m € offer they have to sell him. You can't refuse that kind of offer for any player.

Leon Bailey is a Rising Star from Jamaica, at a relatively young age, he is able to display a very beautiful game, if you see the video on Youtube, maybe you will be amazed.

His playing style is a bit like Renato Sanches from Portugal, I hope Leon Bailey can play in Barcelona because his playing style is very applicable there.
He is still under contract with Leverkusen until June 2023 or 2 years for the remainder of his contract. I'm not sure Barcelona will be interested in bringing him to the Camp Nou to replace or fill in the striker position for next season given their current financial situation. So far Leon Bailey has played 119 times in the Bundesliga and managed to score 28 goals and that is quite prolific for a relatively young player like him. He needs a career in his life, and if Barcelona are interested then Leon Bailey will have a better experience.

Yes it was a bit of a shock for the schalke fans to see their team in the same situation as last year and with a different squad maybe the problem is that these players have not being playing together and its just a temporary situation or they have the same club problems and we will see the same performance as last year.

Leon Bailey is a talented player and he is still almost young. He played very well this season. He can make himself better through hard work. If he continues to perform well next season, Leverkusen may decide to sell him at a higher price.

According to a source, Bayer Leverkusen have rejected a £30m offer from Aston Villa for Leon Bailey (23). I really enjoyed watching him in the last season. He got 9 goals and 9 assists in 30 Bundesliga games. I think he is a player who has a good potential and he is still young. If he has another productive season, maybe we can see him at a big club in the next season.

We will see what happend in the next weeks with Schalke , if they keep losing games i think thy will have bad times in the League.
I think the elimination from the first division affected the morale, (otherwise, how can one explain that Schalke dropped 35 positions in the UEFA rankings this year). I hope the guys will recover from the blow and not stay in the second Bundesliga, otherwise it will be a serious blow to the image and ambitions, I would even say that it would be a shame, considering that Schalke plays quite confidently against strong teams .. [I hope the karma of last year's first game of the season won't overtake them].

I dont saw the match and just have seen the result now , but looks like not a good start for Schalke in the second league with getting 3 goals.
Thats for sure some important points for Hamburg against a Team that maybe can play for the title also with .

Many people are wondering whether Lewandowski will leave Bayern this summer. It seems like Chelsea are the most serious team about signing him. They should be prepared to sacrifice at least €50m for him. But I feel like he won't be leaving now.

I am also pretty sure that won't leave the club this summer even if they offer 50M€ now. The reason is quite simple, bayern would never let one of the best strikers in the world go before they have a proper replacement for him and i doubt that they have that for the next season because there are hardly any players out there, that could replace lewandowski without a significant loss of quality. Maybe Haaland or Lukaku. From these two players i would prefer Lukaku to be honest. He is 28 years old now and he has proven that he can perform in every league that he was so far. Yes the statistics of Haaland are incredible but with such young players you can never be sure if they can really keep this level for a long time, so Haaland would be a much bigger risk in my opinion and more expensive.

If they let their best player go, then we could watch a much weaker Bayern Munich in this season. And actually, this could balance things in the Bundesliga as Bayern are far ahead of any team in the league now. But they wouldn't want such thing to happen of course.  Grin

Real Madrid do not have the financial capacity to bring in players like Mbappe and Haaland. Lewandowski is a good choice at the moment. But he will not be able to maintain his good performance for too long. On the other hand, Real Madrid's main striker Benzema is 33 years old. He has done well this season, but it doesn't look like he will be able to play next season without injury.

Lewandowski is too old to move to a big European club. He will either finish his European football career with Bayern or play another two years with a club in the USA or Asia (Arabia). If he still wanted to move to a big European club, he should have done it two or three years ago. Now that time is up. Also, it should be added that Bayern will not let him go at all because they simply do not have a suitable replacement.

Bayern Munich will not be able to find a player to replace Lewandowski. However, I would not be surprised if Bayern Munich releases Lewandowski. Because Lewandowski's salary is much higher. Leaving Lewandowski, maybe they want to take a young player to the team.

I see them bidding for Halland if eventually the movement of Lewandowski comes to reality, get a young talent to replicate what Lewandowski give them will be hard. I do hope the Management gets the right players in and out else, you can Thomas Muller not been hundred percent.
Dortmund is a good selling side I can reminisce the transfer of Lewandowski to Bayern Munich,I good plan for future glories.

Bayern has to find a good player to replace Lewandowski. Currently he is at a pick, broke a record while he is quite old which means his estimated price won't increase in the future but most probably will decrease especially if he gets many injuries or scored less than the last season.
Better to sell him for €50m or swap him with another player (even in a different position) that +/- failed so far in his team but has potential to rise in Bundesliga like Hazard or Sterling or G.Jesus...
The whole question is whether a top club like Bayern is willing to wait for several years or at least one season when a player bought or traded will show the same results as the one already sold by that time by Lewandowski Wink I am not sure that Hazard or Sterling will immediately fit into the mechanism of team play and will break all sorts of records by coming to the Bayern club. As I said earlier, Bayern may consider selling the Polish striker in the event of a good offer and the personal desire of the player himself, but I do not think that it is worth forcing this issue solely for financial purposes and questions of monetary gain.

@snipe I feel that Lewandoski should not move from Bayern, because I would like to see him break more records there, and what happens if he comes to premier league and fails to perform hence he should stick at Bayern only. @AndySt considering all the clubs are yet reeling from the pandemic if he’s sold then it’ll purely be for money, and maybe his departure will give other teams a chance to compete for the league title.

Haaland problem seems to be still not solved. Some people are really confident about him not leaving Dortmund this summer. But some other people think that Chelsea will manage to end this deal successfully somehow. They are already willing to pay huge amount of money for him. He is a candidate to become the second most expensive player in history. This situation really resembles City's trying to sign Kane but Tottenham's doing everything they can to keep him.
