almost 60 minutes have been played in kiel now. and köln leads kiel 4:1. i think the game is decided and köln stays in the 1.bundesliga.

That's why I'm not surprised that Kiel wants it so badly. Cologne was the better team overall in the first leg. Kiel only had two good chances and one of them was a goal.

One factor should not be forgotten. Kiel had several corona cases and therefore had to postpone some match days. Therefore, they had four more games to play than Cologne in the last 30 days. That could be an advantage for Cologne.

I hope Holstein Kiel will advance to Bundesliga, they deserved it. This year was great for them, semi final in cup and third position in league, they passed big clubs like Hamburg. They also won first leg of this play-out clash, they have a very good advantage. They will finish this at home, even a draw is enough for them to advance. This could be the end of the road for Koln if they don't improve their performance in the second leg. Koln are normally a better team than Holstein Kiel. And they had a better form also. I guess we will see another competitive game but this time Koln will play much more effectively. But it is hard to predict if they can manage to make it.

Kiel didnt have a great season in the league bearly got in the playoffs and even had a chance to win in the last round and go to the bundesliga directly. Last match they won somehow and could have been even 2:0 but i think koln can turn this match around and stay in the league

It was really shocking to see that Koln lost to Holstein Kiel 0-1 home and couldn't even score a goal. H. Kiel got a really really tight schedule and I thought they would be really tired and they would try to get at least a draw in the first game. Things are going to be really interesting in the rematch. Will we see Koln managing to stay in the Bundesliga? Or will we see a new team next season?

With the score today, Inglostadt have more advantage from winning the first leg. They however won Osnabruck today in their home match with a 3-0 score, winning in both halves. All they need is a win/draw in the second leg, to get promoted to the Bundesliga 2, and surely play in the Bundesliga 2 next season.

Osnabruck have to beat Inglostadt with 4-0 in their second leg in order to escape been relegated from the Bundesliga 2. I believe, they are already weakened by today's match, winning the second leg won't be easy for them.

They playing well and good but this means not that they playing the best they can .
Also they got unlucky a bit a few times and other teams playing also an nice football.
The next thing is if Holstein Kiel will make it really to the first League there will be hard times coming to them.

@Soonandwaiteis they might not be one of the best team but they do have the potential, but sadly this season they were unable to show it. Furthermore it’s quite possible that next year we may see them in a different avatar, because I’m sure they wouldn’t want to be any where near the relegation zone when the new season starts.

That was the first surprise Holstein Kiel gave us. They have opened the door for the 1. Bundesliga a bit more. Still 90 minutes to go. But they only have to shot one goal at home and it will be much more difficult for Koeln.
