I wish it for Holstein Kiel that they win the relegation. And in the past they have often won when nobody expected them to. But due to the many games which they have played within the last 8 weeks it is more realistic that Koeln stays in the 1. Bundesliga.

They finished 2nd in the Bundesliga in 3rd place. I think it will be a play-off game in which Köln will prevail. We can talk about Holstein having 3 wins and 2 defeats in their last 5 matches. Still, I think Köln has a stronger squad.

Becoming like Schalke for current top teams is possible (Leverkusen, M'Gladbach...), it doesn't require a lot of efforts to make the team play crap but building a strong team is way harder. For Bayern, being like Schalke is unimaginable Wink

It feels great to see new faces in the Bundesliga but it is also sad to see an established team for more than decades getting relegated like that, In my opinion, we can not blame only the management for not doing their best but the players as well if they don't show their utmost spirits in the game and there are no diligent players to be trained they can not make it on the top, We can say that Schalke didn't do their best I think they are it is just out of luck that they didn't make a big impact with the result of their hard work It is not really enough.

Maybe some strong teams would surely end up like them who knows in the future.

I agree with that prediction. Usually the team of the second division has the advantage that the momentum is on their side because they managed to play a good season and reach position 3 of the league and the team of the bundesliga is usually in a more negative mood after a pretty bad season. This time it is the other way around. FC Koln managed to reach this play off games with 3 wins out of the last 6 matches on a late goal in the very last match of the season so they are happy to even be in that match. Kiel, on the other hand, looked for a long time as if they were going straight to the bundesliga until they lost their last two matches.
So FC Koln is the clear favorite for me in these 2 games.

Both teams that are moving up next season into the bundesliga are clubs with a lot of tradition. Greuter fürth even managed to win the title 3 times already even though that was before the first world war. Vfl bochum are finally moving to the bundesliga again after they had to play in the second division for 10 years. If you look at the stadiums of both teams it is clear though that next season won't see a new record in terms of audience, because their stadiums are relatively small and with schalke and bremen there are 2 teams relegated with big stadiums and maybe koln will follow them.

Holstein Kiel have had an incredibly tight schedule for weeks. They must be too tired before these games. Koln are in a much better condition right now and they won their last game in the league also. I think Koln will beat them with at least 2 goal difference in the first game and they will have a big advantage for the rematch.

Holstein Kiel had two match points. And they missed both. Now they have to go into the relegation. They were in quarantine and will have played 13 times within 9 weeks after the two relegation matches. 13 times! That will not be easy for them. If they still have the power?

Sad news for Schalke 04 and Werder Bremen they got Relegated from the Bundesliga and welcome Greuther Fürth and VfL Bochum to the Bundesliga, after a 29-year stay in the Bundesliga we say Farewell to Schalke and Bremen have 40 years playing in Bundesliga it is the sad truth but wish them luck that is how the system goes, Bundesliga games will surely be missed and we will surely wait almost 3 months for the Bundesliga to begin again and It will begin on 13 August 2021 and will conclude on 14 May 2022 and I have seen the teams that will compete in the next Bundesliga 2021-2022
