Usually Leverkusen's strength in scoring goals is quite good, but this time their opponents were good enough in maintaining their defense so that they managed to hold Leverkusen to a draw until the final whistle sounded. Both teams will still drop more points as we approach the end of the season but the 8 points lead is definitely too much to catch to especially when Leverkusen are not at the top of their game. If they can win all remaining matches then they can catch up if Bayern Munich drops a few points by not all their remaining matches but that almost impossible to happen.

Managed? They did an excellent job and were able to maintain their consistency in the Bundesliga by winning Werder Bremen in an emphatic style. This result made sure Bayern Munich extended their lead on the table. And as for Bayern Leverkusen, it was a surprise that they weren't able to capitalize on their chances to win Wolfsburg. This latest result of their have made them lose ground in log leaders Bayern Munich. Leverkusen's performance was far beyond their standard. If they aim to perform better and charge for the title till the end of the season they need to avoid any complacency and rediscover their form.

The problem right now is that Xabi is afraid to take risks to attack and always prioritizes defense. So that in several matches it always ends in a draw when playing away and is unable to beat the opponent. Unlike Munich who always dares to take risks to try to continue to put pressure on the opponent and can create a winning score to get full points. So it will be very difficult for Leverkusen to be able to shift Munich's position which currently has a difference of 8 points. And for this season, honestly I believe Munich will get the title.

A distance of ten points in the Bundesliga competition is a big thing to overcome because it is a very large number and it is quite difficult to expect four defeats on Bayern Munich in the rest of the season and hope that Bayer Leverkusen can win all the remaining matches in this season. I don't know the problem of these clubs at times when the ovation is loud and people are busy praising them, especially when they have defeated tougher clubs. For the sake of Harry Kane i sincerely want Bayern Munich to win the Bundesliga title this season so that he can attach a major trophy to his name after devoting his time and effort to the team. When Kompany was named as Bayern Munich manager, not many people agreed that he could lead Bayern Munich this far and they have been at the top of the table for a very long time now so i don't see any much circumstances that will make the team to drop points and Bayern Leverkusen overtakes them. It will be a very huge achievement for Vincent Kompany if Bayern lifts the Bundesliga title.

Shots that are locked by the players or shots that are not blocked but miss the target, with the mention the blocked ones don't have to be near goal misses. So, a bit misleading, a player can kick it from 20 meters and get blocked but the ball might have gone 30 meters over.
Not to defend Bayer as they played as poorly as they could but that's a bit of an exaggeration for the game.

Anyhow I was saying that the pressure is on Bayer to win not on Bayern, and they flopped, if they don't win in the direct match next time it's basically done.
