I agree that their performance has shown a decline, but I think this is a very natural thing because they have confirmed themselves as Bundesliga champions this season. So they don't have any pressure to play as usual, because the match results don't affect them in the slightest. It's just that if they don't lose then they will extend their unbeaten record, and in my opinion that is Leverkusen's only motivation in their remaining matches in the Bundesliga.

It's also fair to say that they got lucky when they were able to score a goal in the final minutes of the match, so that prevented them from losing. But actually they usually do that during this season, they can always catch up so they don't lose and they can even turn things around in several matches. This is the most extraordinary thing from Leverkusen this season and honestly we can't deny that.
I don't see any decline in performance from Leverkusen, I think the two draws they got are quite normal because they were against strong teams in the Bundesliga and also Xabi Alonso made several player rotations because the brand no longer has any interests after successfully ensuring the Bundesliga title in These two matches Leverkusen showed something extraordinary when they scored a goal at the end of the match to avoid their first defeat this season, I watched these two matches and I couldn't believe what I saw, it was truly extraordinary and I thought the Leverkusen team didn't will be defeated this season.
Leverkusen can at very least still defend its record being unbeatable despite the draw results achieved by the club in the previous games. Leverkusen is having important target to win europa league this season. The draw is a common thing to happen as long as leverkusen was not breaking its unbeatable record and that's fine.
It will win the upcoming game in order to keep its performance stable before the big game against as roma to come soon. Im thinking we will be seeing something big to come from leverkusen soon.

Treble or double trophies are possible for leverkusen this season.

There is no reason for Bayern Munich to sell Harry Kane, Bayern Munich failure to defend the Bundesliga title is not Harry Kane fault because football is a team game, but not an individual game. It should be noted, Harry Kane is the club and Bundesliga top scorer this season, he has scored 35 goals in the Bundesliga since moving from Tottenham. Bayern Munich failure this season is due to not being able to reach Leverkusen's level of play, they very often lose points in matches that should be won easily.

I agree with you, I think that is the important thing we need to understand, if weren't for Harry Kane I don't think Bayern Munich would reach the level that they are this season. Bayern Munich did not have any other top players who could score goals more than him, they knew what he could do, and that is why they went for him as a striker last season. Bayern Munich has lost important points against a weak team, and I don't see the reason why we should blame Kane for that matter, he's a striker, his job is to score goals and he's doing his job. I don't think we should expect much from him more than this.

Bayer Leverkusen have done it again. They scored the equaliser in the 96th minute of the game (additional time was only 5 mins but hey).
As much as they again confirmed their undefeatable aura, I think their performance was not that great and they should seriously consider themselves lucky for earning that 1 point.
The way they lost those first 2 goals was appalling and not what you would expect from the new Champions.
I'm not sure if they get overly relaxed after securing the championship, but they need to put themselves back together and stay focused ahead of the Roma match on Thu.

I thought I had lost my bet when Leverkusen was losing in the 90 minutes because I selected them to win or draw, I did not expect them to score the late goal and draw the game, I gave up that Leverkusen's unbeaten record had come to an end against Stuttgart, I forgot that they like to score in the die minutes. However, I think the reason why Leverkusen was down with two goals, Xabi Alonso refused to use his top players from the beginning of the match, he benched Victor Boniface, Wirtz and Xhaka missed the match due to yellow cards. I don't think they will have a problem in their next Europa game against Roma since Xabi will use his full squad to play against them. I'm confident that Leverkusen will win the match tomorrow.

There'd quite falling elite teams that's struggling to buckled up. Harry Kane might be the major reason why Bayern Munich have failed to win the Bundesliga title this season after winning it close to decades in rows. It's questionable because Harry Kane have never lifted a major title with the club's he played for and therefore leading to what we called "The Harry Kane Curse" the exact same way we have the "The Drake Curse" when it comes to betting. Football is never as we assumed it to be.

I can’t say it is because if Harry Kane, that is why Bayern Munich performances have been like this throughout the season because football is not played by one person, and it is obvious. This is not enough reason to believe. I think Bayern Munich just deformed and other teams took over the space, so I didn’t believe what you said about Bayern Munich's declining performance because of the absence of Harry Kane.

I think Bayern Munich aren't in their best form this season, and even if Harry Kane is present, if they deform, it will happen because he's not the only person that plays for them. Bayern Munich are not up to Bayern Leverkusen standards this season. Bayern Leverkusen really did well throughout the season.

It doesn't matter in which minute they score a goal. I would like them to become undefeated champions, this would be a great achievement and even 20-30 years from now this statistic will remain valuable. That's why it is very pleasing for them to score a goal, even in the last minute.
Last 2 days left for the big match. I think Leverkusen is psychologically ready for this match, they will play with all their strength against Rome and do whatever it takes to win this match

There's nothing like Harry Kane being cursed. If he is cursed, I don't think he would be able to score so much goals the way he has done this season if he was to be cursed.
I don't know why I look people who go on to write such as fetish and superstitious to be very honest. It is what it is and they have to face it the hard way.
Besides, how many clubs had he played for? Is he only the one who hasn't won a trophy? What about Eric Dier? Give him credits and back him for the goals he has scored for now.

Blames should be on Thomas Tuchel or the fact that they had to many Injuries to handle this season. I also see them selling off some players next season.

He was brought in to score goals, Yes? They must be mad an stupid if they blame the seasons failure on Harry Kane. This is indeed disgusting and irksome and a dump way to view and make analysis. SMH!

I wonder why most people will even say that, even if Harry Kane  may not have been performing the way they had expected lately but calling him a cursed is a bad one because they seem to have been forgotten that it was not long ago Harry Kane has been performing really well and almost to the extend of scoring on all their matches, so actually people should also see the good things he has done for the club instead of judging his present state.

So like you said Thomas Tuchel  is also to be blame because his pattern may not really be working for them and however they have some injured players who are also very good, however on this their last match against real Madrid Harry Kane played really well and he is also one of the best player on that match and he was even consistent enough to score their second goal and they almost win the match but unfortunately for them really Madrid had to equalize.

Would we be so narrow-minded as to curse Harry Kane? even though he made a big contribution to Bayen Munich with his goals and assists. And if the curse is true, Tottenham should be able to win the title this season, but they couldn't get it.
I think it's more appropriate to say "curse" just to add entertainment, not to go into a more serious realm like what people are currently doing with Harry Kane. We can also still see Bayern Munich in 2nd place now, and to be honest that's not a bad position, it's just that they can't defend the title this season. After all, they also still have the Champions League, and if they succeed there (even if it is difficult), what will the people who have said that Harry Kane is the reason for Bayern Munich's failure this season in the Bundesliga say?
exactly!! logically speaking, if Kane is like a curse, it would be impossible for Kane to score big numbers for Munich and on the one hand, his contribution to the Munich players is also very good, always able to work together to create good chemistry.
and actually the failure of Munich at that time was not in Kane but the coach who failed to manage the players well with inappropriate strategies and also the arrival of great scoring players usually had a bad impact on other players as other players didn't want to try to score and just just rely on Kane.
now let's see who is the top scorer after Kane at Bayern Munich and of course the difference in scores scored is very large and this is a sign that other Munich players also only rely on Kane without trying to make a stronger contribution.
and I say this not to blame the other players but for me something like this is very normal but it all depends on how the Munich coach maintains stable performance and doesn't rely too much on just one player and this is just a failure for Tuchel to bring Munich to a higher level and lost dominance in the Bundesliga.

I did expected Kane to score a lot of goals during his Bundesliga tenure as well, but even with Kane being such a great player, I did not expected him to score THIS much, he did very well.

I do agree that his "curse" is more than a joke now and I feel like him not winning is quite funny (to us of course, not to him) but we can't blame him for that, he did all he could and he tried his very best, he scored way more than what we expected of him to score. If he scored a bit more he almost broke over the Bundesliga record that Lewandwoski has, so that means that whatever Bayern Munich had trouble this season long, it was not his mistake and he didn't cause any of it, he did what he should and rest of the team basically failed him at the end so he wasn't responsible for their loss.

I think it is even easier for him to score goals in the Bundesliga compared to the Premier League. This has also helped him score this many and he can go for even more in the remaining games.  Smiley

He has always been playing really impressively. He has won many individual prizes many of which were top scorer ones. Despite his giving his best every season he is just unlucky with titles. But like I said before I think there is no way he isn't breaking a leg at Bayern Munich.  Grin  Yeah Leverkusen are really solid with Xabi Alonso but one way or another Bayern Munich would start winning titles once again. It can happen next season too if they bring the right manager for themselves.

Agree. Even if Bayern management changes the coach, they won't sell Harry Kane. For me, Harry Kane performed very well, they scored many goals for Bayern Munich in every competition. He doesn't only scored many goals in Bundesliga. So, it doesn't make sense if Bayern will sell him because Harry Kane is truly machine goal for Bayern Munich. Unfortunately, Bayern Munich can't get maximum result in this season because they have a problem in defense and midfield line. This makes them to easy to get conceded goals.

Source: https://www.bundesliga.com/en/bundesliga/player/harry-kane

Bayern Munich learned a valuable lesson this season after Leverkusen transformed into a strong team in the Bundesliga, even though they have players like Harry Kane who have very high goal-scoring instincts, they cannot win easily if they are not able to maintain their performance. Next season will be a new challenge for Bayern Munich, they have to overhaul their squad if they want to win the title race again.
Sure, Bayern Munich will be more serious to build their squad. They must try to rebuild their defense and midfield line by buying some top players in the next transfer window. Bayern also needs to sign a new coach that will be suitable for Bayern Munich team. This will be their priority because they must expect to dominate Bundesliga again and defeat Leverkusen in the next title race.

Tuchel still has the opportunity to present a trophy for Bayern Munich, they must be able to improve their quality to beat Real Madrid in the UCL. This match will be a big test for Bayern Munich because if they fail in the UCL, then there will be no more prestigious trophies to win this season.
In theory, Bayern still has a chance to win UCL trophy. But I am not really sure about this because they are against Real Madrid which knows well how to win the UCL trophy. In my point of view, Real Madrid looks like to beat Bayern Munich, so the dream of UCL title may be very small to be true for Bayern Munich.

The game that Bayer Leverkusen scored in the 95th minute to get a draw happened over the weekend in their German Bundesliga game against Stuttgart which is why I'm a bit surprised to see that you're even talking about it now but since there are no many issues to talk in the German Bundesliga, I think I understand your reason of bringing up the result of the game. Xabi Alonso have have instilled the spirit of resilience in the Bayern Munich and that's why they aren't giving up even on games they're losing going into the final minutes. I was thinking they'll suffer their first league defeat of the season in that game after they failed to find an equalizer going onto the additional time but because they believed in themselves as a team, they still were able to avoid defeat in that game.

Good Leverkusen and a team that for me is on another level, I Already Want to see it in UCL, let's see how it is on par with the Greats , I would like to see Madrid VS Leverkusen, there Xabi Alonso will have mixed feelings and you will be Able to do things in one. Impressive, I have always said something, this Bundesliga team is the best, they already have their games there, their Champions and it is a big Slap in the face for a Bayern that did the Impossible to get a Harry Kane who Would Help them have in their team to the cup, but it wasn't like that, this time the merit of a great job like Xabi, for me one of the best in the World , the Bundesliga was worth more It has Already Changed its Face , now it is something else, it is much more rewarding.

What marvels me about this Bayer Leverkusen team is the rate at which they score stoppage time goals, their never dying spirit, they always fight till the end. It would really be great to see them face the BIG BOYS in the UCL. This season they’ve proven to be unstoppable, let’s see how they fair next season if they can replicate this form.
Harry Kane is an excellent Striker, Best of the best no doubt but the team has not been as efficient as they normally are, I’m sure the Golden boot will be his this year. And his team can focus all their energy on winning Madrid.

Well the truth is that this Kane team has done well, it is a shame that they did not have enough level to at least give Lveverkusen the fight, because they have very good forwards, also when Kane and Muller play at the same time. They do something great, today was the first away game against Germany in the UCL because they were tied, but the truth is that the Bayern that I saw was of another level, the thing is that when the teams play in the UCL they transform and do great plays and the players are growing, the truth is I really want to see Leverkusen in the UCL, see them face Madrid, PSG, that is something I want to see, of course they have a strong commitment In the Europa League against Roma, nothing easy, let's see what the great Xabi Alonso comes up with, I think Xabi has the whole of Germany in love, for now the Bundesliga, Byaern is securing his place on the same level as the UCL.

Quote
Roma should be terrified. Even with a rest in recent weekends, B04’s gem of all gems has still made all the difference. Florian Wirtz started Leverkusen’s away clash against Borussia Dortmund on the bench, but showed what a phenomenon he is in just 20 minutes of action. Leverkusen were heading for their first defeat of the season 1-0 down at the Signal Iduna Park before a brilliant piece of Wirtz ingenuity saw the 20-year-old trick his way into the box and win a corner in the final minute of stoppage time. Taking the ball over to the flag, he then whipped a magnificent set-piece onto the head of Josip Stanišić to make it 45 games unbeaten in all competitions this season

For me, about if Bayer Leverkusen only managed to win a Bundesliga trophy of course, it could still happen with good consistency. But, when it comes about Bayer Leverkusen's unbeaten record so far this season in all competitions then of course, an unbeaten record like this is an incredible record. Because after all, Bayer Leverkusen is not a team that has always managed to be in the top four every season in previous seasons, but Xabi Alonso has really managed to set an incredible record for Bayer Leverkusen and basically from last season as well. Because after all, last season Bayer Leverkusen also started from the relegation zone, but Xabi Alonso managed to recover Bayer Leverkusen very well and continued until this season with new big records and also Xabi Alonso managed to make new big history for Bayer Leverkusen this season.
Leverkusen managed to break many records this season, they became stronger and it could even be said that Leverkusen was one of the teams that succeeded in awakening their strength to become super strong and managed to maintain a winning streak by never being defeated. There is endless praise for Xabi Alonso because his cleverness in managing strategies makes Leverkusen perform well in every match.

In fact, we have seen several matches where Leverkusen almost lost, but they were able to score a goal in the final minutes of the match which made their run unbeatable. Leverkusen revival was also triggered by the ambition of the players who worked hard to perform better so that they were able to beat their opponents and become champions this season. They have managed to get one trophy and they must focus on continuing their mission in the European league to become champions this season.

There is still some way to go for them before they can officially claim the Bundesliga record for the most unbeaten games per season. Bayern Munich once had a season with more than 90 points and only one game lost. I am not sure, but I think the record was 91 points and Leverkusen can only get 90 points if they win the last three games. That would still be an insane performance, but yes it would be very unique to be the first club ever to remain undefeated throughout the whole season. And keep in mind that this is the Bundesliga only. Leverkusen didn't lose a game in the other competitions either.

It was really unexpected that this season Leverkusen performed so well because Leverkusen was one of the best teams and was undefeated this season by successfully setting a new record that was so good
Yes nobody has really expected that Leverkusen will be playing this good this season.
About that they are undefeated this season for now there are still 3 matchdays to go and all can be happen here.
For sure i would love to see that they can end that season without any lost game as they deserve it and hopefully in the Cups they make it too.

If they can go undefeated throughout the season, then it will be the best invincible in the history of football. I think Bayern Leverkusen deserves the victory and the success they have been getting through this season. They have been playing a spectacular football and that should pave way for them to earn all victories in their matches. An undefeated season in the Bundesliga is more imminent than that of DFB Kopal or in the Europa League. With few matches to go, let’s see if they can achieve this success to their name and their team for historical significance for years to come from now.

Harry Kane is a great striker that has struggled and survived in teams like Tottenham that is not of the same standard with Munich and he scored as many goals as possible and he is usually because the top scorer by scoring goals more than the top team’s strikers in the Premier League then.

I am not surprised with his number of goals he scored because he is good, and Harry Kane is better than Sane; therefore I am expecting him to score more goals for the team to even surpass Lewandawsky’s record

Winning matches will become smooth for stable balanced elite team. At first, It was a complete joke to everyone that had a vision of Bayer Leverkusen winning oppositions and having an unbeaten streak record till this very moment. Xabi Alonso is indeed one of the promising coach for Leverkusen but everything becomes clearer when there's more achievements for Leverkusen this season. Looks like they're going home with the treble and this season will be one of the wonderful one for Leverkusen this season.

For me, about if Bayer Leverkusen only managed to win a Bundesliga trophy of course, it could still happen with good consistency. True, there is another achievement that is much more interesting here than breaking the dominance that Bayern Munich can always maintain, and that is the unbeaten record owned by Leverkusen. For me this is really like a miracle, because you have also said that initially in the past few seasons Leverkusen was a medium-sized team that was even difficult to finish in the top four of the standings, by looking at their performance that was not very interesting last season I think this is one of the reasons why we are very surprised when we see them now succeed in breaking the dominance of Bayern Munich along with scoring an unbeaten record since the season began which Bayern Munich was difficult to be able to score an unbeaten record like this even though they were a team that could always secure the trophy at the end of the season, With the success and achievements achieved by Leverkusen this season we can see how great a person Xabi Alonso is and I just hope he can still maintain the performance and mentality of his team to surprise again next season.
