The dream season is still going on for Leverkusen. 46 games unbeaten... This is insane! I was really excited while watching that last minute free-kick and they really did it again. Maybe with a little help of their luck on that goal too but still.  Wink  Xabi Alonso is not just making do with breaking a record. He is still improving it with a huge streak.

It says 44 because of being shared like 10 days ago. Anyways from now on I'm concentrated on what they will do in the Europa League. I'm not even saying DFB Pokal because it seems like an easy win for Leverkusen considering the strength of the opponent, Kaiserslautern. In the Europa League too I believe they will be able to make it to the title.  Smiley
With a record that big, it's certain that no other big European team will be able to break it and I'm sure even if it did, it would probably take around 10 more years. Xabi Alonso is one of those geniuses who rarely appears and with Leverkusen he immediately crushed all the existing dominators. Their mentality never wavered in the slightest in every match and instead of accepting defeat, they were always able to equalize or even turn things around.

We will definitely miss this magic from Xabi Alonso and of course we hope he can repeat it next season. But before that, Leverkusen must continue to win in winning other titles such as the European League or DFB Pokal because that can complete Leverkusen's treble winner this season. On the other hand, I can't wait to see their progress in the Champions League next season and fight against strong teams from other top European leagues.

The German league was a bit boring with the matches played yesterday. There were not many goals in the matches and I think this is a pity for the German league.Especially in the match between Mönchengladbach and Union Berlin, I expected there to be a goal. When we look at the overall match, we can say that both teams performed at an equal level.Since both teams are in the relegation pot, it should be said that the winner of the match will have a great advantage.A draw from this match is not a good enough result for both teams, especially for the home team. Although they have a small point difference with their rivals at the moment, they are still at risk and we have entered the last 3 weeks of the league.
You should know thst the season is coming to an end already and almost every team is tightening up their defense and their form to be able to see how much they can achieve with the small time they have got remaining so you wouldn't blame them for not been able to rain goals as you expected initially because they are allowed trying to make sure they concede less goals and get more wins so they can at least finish Ina good position.

Draw was actually not a good results for both team as it really didn't get them anything nice, not even helping them getting to a better position on the table but then they were able to still share points equally at the end of the game, union Berlin actually was supposed to have been able to get even more goals from that game but they were not good with converting their opportunity or even creating better once although monchengaldbach made sure their defence wasn't such that could be easily penetrated but they aren't a tough enough team which was supposed to get Berlin to struggle Berlin is a team that's experienced and have been able to do better even against bigger teams.

This is almost two weeks to the end of the league the only risk both team has gotten is in the fact that they may not get to qualify for the champions league next season but they are definitely going to be able to do finish at good positions on the table especially for Berlin who's just two points away from relegation, they need to get more wins and goals so they can be at advantage in these last few weeks else stand the risk of relegation.

There was no winner in the battle of the other 2 teams fighting to stay in the league.Mainz drew 1-1 with Cologne at home.We can say that Cologne played a better game than their opponent, but unfortunately it was not enough to beat them. Mainz, who led at half time, relaxed a bit at the beginning of the second half when Cologne missed a penalty, but Cologne managed to get a draw with a penalty in the last minutes. If Cologne had won this match, they would have reduced the point difference to 2, but it seems that this draw will not help them much.We can now say that Cologne has been relegated from the league.

Point is that Leverkusen was on a different level. I have no idea whether they will be able to repeat that, but fact is that this performance was so out of this world that I can't think of a situation where they will repeat it. If it is the case, I am the first person to salut!
No other team has been able to surpass Leverkusen level this season, they have managed to lock in the Bundesliga title with an undefeated record, now Xabi plans to close the season as a team that has never been defeated. I think it's difficult, the team's performance is always different every season, there will always be unexpected events that make the team perform less than optimally.
An unbeaten record in one season is very difficult to achieve because not all teams can do it, maintaining this record is more difficult than achieving it. Xabi stay as coach is certainly good news for Leverkusen and bad news for Bayern Munich, next season there will be even more competitive competition after Bayern Munich realizes that there is already a team competing with it in the race for the title.
Bayer Leverkusen has shown a very different performance this season so that other clubs have not been able to surpass it, even Bayern Munich has not been able to surpass Bayer's good performance so far this season. Alonso has really been the best coach for Bayer Leverkusen since last season and has immediately had a really positive impact. Alonso's news to stay at Bayer would be very good news because he would again provide competitive competition in the Bundesliga.

If there are striking changes to Bayern next season then they can return to being a top club but if Alonso continues to give the same performance as this season then it will be very difficult for Bayern to beat Bayer, this season's competition is very interesting to watch because there are already other clubs who provide equal resistance with Bayern Munich so for the next season Bayern will be a little under pressure in the Bundesliga unlike previous seasons.

I think maybe Bayern's mistake was to send Nagelsmann off the team. Nagelsmann was playing well in the team. Maybe Nagelsmann would have been better this year, but the difficult decision to send him away from Bayern Munich brought a steady decline for them. Tuchel was not as successful. Considering what we talked about today, I think Tuchel's decision was wrong. The league championship, which has not been lost for a long time, slipped away this year.

The league would have been lost last year if not for the carelessness of Borussia Dortmund, I agree that sacking Nagelsmann was wrong, he would have been given the chance to complete last season and maybe this one. Bayer Leverkusen lifting the league wasn’t because Bayern was in decline, Twas based on their tremendous efforts and good coaching tactics deployed by Xavi Alonso. Even if Bayern were in form, this Leverkusen team would have still won the league because they didn’t leave room for slipping points. You can blame Tuchel but it was just Bayer Leverkusen and Alonso’s time. They can focus all their energy now on the Champions League, I think they might still have a chance despite form.

True, but doesn't mean that the Bundesliga wouldn't need long term competition among the teams in the league itself. Europa League and Champions League is all good, but as you can tell yourself it gets boring when one team dominates so hard. Dortmund wasted it last year, but even if they won it, it is still no competition. Bayern needs competition!

Honestly, Bayern Munich in the previous seasons could not be compared with the actual season whether in the quality of the players nor in coaches tactics.
Lewandowski departure among others affected a lot Bayern Munich and even Harry Kane arrival failed to fully replace him.
In addition to that, Xabi Alonso drove Bayer Leverkusen very well and the title was very much merited by this team.
Harry Kane clearly is a world-class striker. This man scores goals and helps the squad, but playing like Robert Lewandowski is different. Lewy's presence on the pitch and ability to open up the game for the club were more important than his goals. Although Kane is a great player, he lacks that quality. Coaching can't be ignored. He's a terrific manager, but his style is different from those that founded Bayern. There are times when they have all the right pieces, but they don't fit together anymore. Xabi Alonso has Leverkusen playing well. It spotlights Bayern and magnifies small faults

At this time, of course, Leverkusen has a great chance to get a treble winner after they still stay in the Europa League and also DFB Pokal, even if they face a Bundesliga 2nd division team, but I think Alonso will still not underestimate Kaiserslautern at this time, because after all, Kaiserslautern's ability to reach the final, of course, it is possible for Kaiserslautern to make a surprise in the final match later,  In addition, the difficult match against Roma will certainly also test Leverkusen mentality and Consistency later, because so far Roma have been strong enough and they have the ability to be able to thwart Leverkusen plans to win the trophy later.
Yes, it's true that Xabi Alonso will not underestimate Kaiserslautern in the DFB cup final and neither will As Roma. It is clear that Leverkusen always perform optimally in every match. The important thing is that the result of the match is not to lose because so far Leverkusen has still maintained its consistency as a team that has not been defeated in the league. domestic and other championships such as in UEL, As Roma is the toughest challenge but I am sure that Xabi Alonso should have prepared for it so that he can get the desired results in order to qualify for the UEL final.

Leverkusen have already won the Bundesliga trophy, of course they need 2 other trophies to get their first treble winner and that will make history for them too, that they will not only break Munich's dominance but can also get the treble winner for the first time since being led by Xabi Alonso, If they are successful, it is clear that they will be at the highest level next season, namely in the UCL. To be able to play there, of course Leverkusen must retain their important players and this includes their coach, Xabi Alonso, because it is clearly very important to be able to shine again next season.

I won't say Kane is cursed per se, but more like luck is not on the Englishman's side because the reason he left Tottenham Hotspur was cause they are not goal oriented and coming to Bayern, the title is out of their hands and there's no assurance he'd carry the champions league cup because we've got other fierce competition and also, with their off and on performance,  you'd agree he isn't getting it easy( which is normal, since there are good days and bad in football) but  imagine if the roles were reversed and they were the winners of the bundesliga title, I think people's opinions will change.
Maybe it would be more accurate to say as you say, that Kane was just unlucky because when he came to Bayern Munich there was another club that performed extraordinary this season, namely Leverkusen. Instead of getting what he wanted, he couldn't get it and the cause was Leverkusen. He is still very sharp and if I judge him personally on his performance, he is actually very worthy of getting the title this season, and even when he was still at Tottenham, if I judge him as an individual he is quite worthy of getting the title there.

He can try again next season, because I'm sure he will stay at Bayern Munich. There is no reason for Bayern Munich to let go of players who have performed well this season. However, he still has the chance to become champion, namely in the Champions League, although it is not an easy thing, their chance is still there, if they are lucky enough to beat Real Madrid in the semifinals, I think they will be able to become champions.

I think we are getting it wrong to say it is a curse for Kane that is why Bayern Munich does not have consistency with their games this season. Bayern Munich's performance is still not bad, they continue to win their games, even though they lost the Bundesliga title this season, Kane has scored 42 goals for the club this season, did you think Bayern Munich will be in second place if Kane is not in Bayern Munich this season? In my opinion, Kane is the only player that brought Bayern Munich this far, to qualify for the Champions League semifinal. Bayern Munich have all the players it takes to win a trophy, they just need to improve and maintain their winning ways.

Guirassy can't match up the same goal with Kane in the rest of their games. Kane has 35 goals in the Bundesliga, while Guirassy has 25 goals, which is 10 goal difference. They still have 3 more games to play, nothing will prevent Kane from winning the Golden Boot by the end of the season.

Quite spectacular indeed Leverkusen's performance this season, even though they have secured the Bundesliga championship trophy this season but still Xabi Alonso refused to lose their matches, like in yesterday's match where when Leverkusen no longer had hope of winning until the 90+5th minute instead they made another extraordinary comeback to make the score a 2-2 draw with Stuttgart while keeping 46 games without defeat this season,  I don't know what makes Leverkusen's mentality so strong that until now they are very difficult to beat and of course we don't find that happening in other teams in the top 5 European leagues at the moment.

I don't know if this is a curse for Harry Kane or because Munich is playing badly this season. This is Kane's first season in Germany and surprisingly Munich, which has always dominated the Bundesliga, was suddenly defeated by Leverkusen. In fact, Liverpool have performed extraordinary this season and no one doubts their performance. But why did this happen so coincidentally? Leverkusen really performed extraordinary this season, they even became undisputed champions with a 13 point gap. And as for the gold shoes I'm sure they will be Kane's. It is impossible for guirassy to score 3 goals in every match and kane did not score a single goal in the remaining 3 matches.

I think we are getting it wrong to say it is a curse for Kane that is why Bayern Munich does not have consistency with their games this season. From the bottom of the table Koln tried to survive relegation and they almost got three points from Mainz if the first penalty they got could be a goal, but it failed, and it is increasingly difficult for Koln to improve their position, my prediction is that Koln will be together with Darmstadt dropping to the second division and for the playoff position there are still three teams who may have to go through this match to determine their fate whether they will stay or go down a division.

Last season Stuttgart had to go through the playoffs to keep them in this division and this season they have turned into a much better team, Stuttgart will even play in the Champions League next season and that is their best achievement after returning to this division, and it's not a competition they get to play often.

I also think that this season there is no player who is more deserving of the golden boot except Harry Kane even though the team he plays for did not get the Bundesliga trophy this season. But Bayern Munich can still try to get a more prestigious trophy in the UCL this season even with quite heavy focus because what they will face in the UCL semifinals is a team that has more titles in the UCL (Real Madrid). Meanwhile, for Bayern Leverkusen, it is indeed appropriate for them to prove themselves in the UCL next season because so far Leverkusen is still extraordinary enough in defending not to lose and also in winning any match.
I think Harry Kane really deserves it even between Mbappe and Erling Haaland, Harry Kane is the one who scored the most goals at Bayern Munich with 42 goals in all competitions showing that Harry Kane is truly an extraordinary striker and he has contributed the most to Bayern Munich, even though the club he is fighting for did not get the Bundesliga title this season even though he has fought so hard, at least an individual title can cure the disappointment experienced by Harry Kane. Apart from that, Bayern Munich still has a chance to get the Champions League title even though the chances are not that big and there are definitely many favorites Real Madrid perhaps with a little luck and hard work Bayern Munich can beat the golden boy of the Champions League.

Leverkusen next season will play in major European competitions and of course many people hope that Leverkusen can maintain this level so that they can compete closely with selected clubs in the Champions League. I have high hopes that Leverkusen will still be under the guidance of Xabi Alonso. Maybe if Xabi leaves, I hope Everyone thinks Leverkusen is not as big as it is now, because this coach has made quite a difference to Leverkusen in their unbeaten record to date.
Harry Kane have been immensely impressive for his Bayern Munich team since he was signed to the club last summer and for a player that's scored the intimidating number of goals he has scored already, winning a major trophy this season with Bayern Munich shouldn't have been a major problem but because the entire team have to the at their best to be able to make that happen, the England international have nothing bit the UEFA Champions League trophy as the only trophy that they can win this season. The most concerning issue about winning the UEFA Champions League title this season is that his club Bayern Munich must eliminate Real Madrid who have been more consistent than Bayern Munich this season.
That being said, Harry Kane's quest to win the European golden boot this season is almost certain to happen because of the number of goals he's scored in the German league when compared to the number his other contenders for the golden boot award has been able to score in their respective leagues. Currently,  Harry Kane has 35 league goals while his closest rival for the award Kylian Mbappe have scored 9 goals lesser than Mbappe's number. With less than four league games to play before the end of the season, Kylian Mbappe isn't going to catch up with Harry Kane.

Bochum is the winner in the danger zone after matchday number 31. Their win against Hoffenheim has taken them up to place 15. All the other teams there have only played a draw. One could also call it a snails race. Only Darmstadt now know whats going on and they will play in Bundesliga 2 next season again. After being promoted together with Heidenheim, it was Heidenheim who sent them back a level down.

Bayern Munich has indeed experienced a decline this season, but in my opinion they don't deserve to be labeled as playing badly as you say. The reason is that now they are still ranked 2nd, and if we compare the points they got in the previous season, there is not a very significant difference. That means they can still be said to be on the same path as they were in the previous season.
I can't say Kane is a curse just because he joined Bayern Munich, then Bayern Mnuich couldn't become champions. We also cannot deny that Kane is the top scorer for Bayern Munich and also in the Bundesliga he is the top scorer in the Bundesliga. He made a huge contribution to Bayern Munich, and he did it in his first season. He managed to adapt very quickly and prove his quality. and I think there is no connection between Bayern Munich's failure and Kane. In my opinion, this is just a conspiracy theory, because if Kane is a curse then Tottenham should be champions this season, but that didn't happen.

Yes, I really agree with you that Bayern Munich performance was not that bad as people are complaining about it, but the reason  why people say they really performed poorly this season is because Bayern Munich performance did not meet their expectations; they expected Bayern Munich to continue winning the Bundesliga. If Bayern Munich is that bad, I don't think they will make it to the semi-finals of the Champions League. The truth is, even in the in the season that Bayern Munich does win the Bundesliga, they do always lose some matches, and this season they also lose matches, so seeing Leverkusen win the game without losing any games means this team is in great form, and they really do it more than even we expected from Bayern Munich.
I think what makes people complain about Bayern Munich is because they compare it to Leverkusen. Because if we compare it with Leverkusen then they have very significant differences, because Leverkusen has been extraordinary this season. I can't blame those who compare Bayern Munich with Leverkusen, because they certainly have the right to do so. But I myself prefer to compare what they did this season with what they did last season. If anyone in the Bundesliga compares it with the team that won the title this season, they will say that all the teams played badly.
Apart from that, we have seen that Bayern Munich have defended the title for more than a decade, so if they can't defend it this season it will look strange. I actually predicted that they would be able to defend the title again, but Leverkusen managed to mess up the predictions I made at the start of the season. Because if Leverkusen didn't exist, then now Bayern Munich would still be at the top of the standings.

~snip~

Bayern Munich poor performance was measured base on how they played in the Bundesliga and not what they showcased in the whole season. As we can see, they’re already in the champions league semifinals which only the best teams this season could have come this far without being eliminated. Bayern Munich are still good but they met their match in the Bundesliga this season that was more than them in all ways they could think of, so it caused them to lose the Bundesliga title to them. Even in the last season when they won the Bundesliga title they didn’t make it this far in the champions league, so their performance is still very good to me and on average as it was from last season.

They got the win and whether or not I like to speak against them, they got the win Cheesy

I think this was the perfect game for them to set up everything for the huge match up with Real Madrid. Who knows whether it will be enough, but in the home stadium I am sure Bayern understands that they need to create an advantage. If they can do it, I think a lot is possible. But otherwise Madrid will have the upper hand.
Firstly, must always remember that Real Madrid is the most successful team in the UCL and this season Real Madrid also performed very satisfactorily with performance that was truly evident in the results, they are not an easy team for Bayern Munich to beat.
But even so, of course everyone will hope that Bayern Munich will be able to match Real Madrid game and can really put pressure on Real Madrid, but looking at Bayern Munich current performance it is clear that they will not be that strong.
I think if Bayern Munich can play well then a draw will happen, but Bayern Munich defense is not optimal and Real Madrid front line itself can be said to be very strong and this can easily penetrate Bayern Munich defense.

I will not judge Bayern Munich performance in the UCL by looking at their performance in the Bundesliga because it will be very different, if look at Bayern Munich performance in the Bundesliga it is impossible for them to be able to reach the UCL semifinals.
What is clear is that Bayern Munich performance in the UCL is much better than its performance in the Bundesliga competition.

I think Bayern Munich don't really have much drop in quality of the squad. The departure of Lewandowski has been well-replaced by Harry Kane, He has done his job very well to ensure their Bayern's productivity. His goal-scoring ability and statistics seems quite similar to what Lewandowski produced during his time  at Bayern.

The only aspect that Bayern experiencing a quality drop is the coach. Tuchel may be better than Julian Nagelsmann, but he is not better than some previous Bayern's manager. The remarkable campaign of Leverkusen should taken into account to judge this season's Bayern, because Leverkusen being excellence with their unbeaten record put more pressure for Bayern, and made Bayern having almost impossible to match their run of the season.

Point is that Leverkusen was on a different level. I have no idea whether they will be able to repeat that, but fact is that this performance was so out of this world that I can't think of a situation where they will repeat it. If it is the case, I am the first person to salut!
