Harry Kane is said to possibly be back in action for the weekend game against Lepzig:
https://talksport.com/football/2386395/harry-kane-injury-update-bayern-munich/
For this reason, we can finally see the performance of Harry Kane and Alphonso Davies. Both of them had begun to appear in the APDA training session on Monday, as their first training after Injury, Harry Kane with strain in Right Hamstring and Davies with Left Hamstring injuries. In these 3 matches, Bayern are somewhat less consistent in the match, even in The Last Match, finally, their Unbeaten's record was forced to have to be broken because of the pain from Mainz which was quite painful.

Bayern Munich's defeat proved that Kompanty is very dependent on striker Harry Kane. When Kane was absent, Bayern Munich had difficulty breaking down the opponent's defense, in this case Mainz's defense, to score goals. This can also be seen from the actual game statistics. Bayern Munich dominated the match with 69% ball possession and released 13 shots, but they only managed to make 1 shot on target and it was ineffective. Without Harry Kane, Bayern Munich could not win the match and this was their first defeat after 13 matches without defeat.

On the other hand, in this match Mainz also appeared very effective and clinical. It was seen that they tried 8 attempts at kicks and 4 of them were on target, even though they only got 31% ball possession but they played very effectively. In the end, Mainz gave Bayern Munich their first defeat in the Bundesliga, this defeat not only made Kompanty have to learn from his mistakes but he also had to be able to play the role of all players without having to rely on just one player. So if there is an injured player he can utilize the potential of other players.
I don't think it was only because of Kane absence that Bayern Munich lost their match against Mainz. Bayern Munich played with a lot of injuries, they were without some key first team players like Manuel Neur, Alphonso Davies. Mainz played very well, they were able to take advantage of Bayern Munich’s weak defense. It was a step up from a disappointing outing against Wolfsburg in their previous match.

Bayern is a big favourite with odds of x1.33, while betting on Leipzig, you can pocket x7.50. I think bookies underestimate Leipzig team a bit. Leipzig are horribly inconsistent this season, especially when we consider all competitions (i.e. including the Champions League) but they still have one of the best defence in Bundesliga (second only to Bayern) and they noted a good performance last weekend when they earned 3 points on Eintracht (something that Bayern failed to do, as they drew with Frankfurt 3-3 back in October).
If Harry Kane will be back, it will be better for Bayern Munich because they really needed him in their front line to score goals because their lack goal scoring ability in their Bundesliga match against Mainz, if Kane is in the game, they could have leveled or even win the game because they were playing really well in the game.

However, Leipzig is not a small opponent against Bayern Munich because Bayern only win one match against Leipzig out of their last five matches they played, and Leipzig was able to win two and drew two against Bayern; this means that it will be a tough encounter for both of them, and Bayern will want to win so as to maintain their position in the Bundesliga table.

I'm not sure what Dortmund intends to do this season; they have yet to lose a home league game this season, but they have failed to take advantage of playing at home to beat a weak club. Dortmund's defense and attacking line are quite poor, and I am confident that this is the reason for their poor performance this season; they conceded a goal in the last minutes; if Dortmund had scored more goals, they wouldn't have drew the match with the goal conceded in the final minute. When I noticed Adeyemi was available to play, I expected a lot of goals, but Dortmund disappointed their fans with a draw.
I have checked Dortmund statistics for Bundesliga matches that they have a habit not playing consistent in the second half for almost every matches in Bundesliga and until week 14 Dortmund have conceded 21 goals and almost 50% from those goals is came from second half so i think these records are proven Dortmund always be playing poor everytime entering second half and i think Nuri Sahin have to solved this problem because Dortmund owner has set high target to him that the owner want Nuri Sahin bringing Dortmund to finish at top 4 and if he failed to improved Dortmund performance i am sure before this season ended Nuri Sahin possibly will be sacked
Nuri Sahin still has many opportunities to lead Dortmund to finish in the top four of the Bundesliga standings, the points gap that has been formed is still possible to be reduced. However, Dortmund must work harder than before, Nuri Sahin must be able to ensure that his team does not lose many points in the future, because entering the second half of the season, the intensity of the competition will increase much more. Dortmund is currently 5 points behind Leipzig who is in fourth place in the standings, and what is really unfortunate is that they failed to become one of the title challengers. Meanwhile, it is indeed possible that Nuri Sahin will be fired if he fails to secure the opportunity to finish in the top four.

Bayern Munich suffered a surprise defeat. No one should be blamed for this because they are the only ones to blame. They played ineffectively throughout the match. They actually played well but the Mainz defense was very good, they couldn't get past them. Of course the Bundesliga is a 34-match marathon. Of course there can be such defeats, the important thing is that they are not too many. They are not very good in the Champions League this year either. The players need to learn from their mistakes and look at the matches ahead.

I know that the absence of Kane has brought some adverse effects to the goal chances of the club since the player started suffering injury lately. Kane has been highly useful and active when it comes to goal scoring so not having him on the pitch kinda caused that slow goal making process. I was though expecting other strikers to cover for him and lead during his absence but that kinda showed the deficiency in the team. It is surprising because of the long-term it took to be able to break the winning streak of 13 games marked by the Munich side and no one was really expecting the disruptor to be Mainze club.

Honestly Kompany depends entirely on the talent of the players to begin with. Bayern Munich is already a great team with a lot of talent and the only reason why they are doing any decent is because those players are so talented, without Kompany and with anyone, you or me doesn't matter, they would have done this good too, Kompany has absolutely nothing that he can show as his contribution to this team.

Not like Bayern would have done any differently with any other manager, they are always good and they always get this much points anyway. So, this isn't a shocker and I believe he was a mistake and they shouldn't have hired them and we can't really consider this to be a great addition, Kompany should be fired if you ask me.

No team is above the best because even the best of the best has once tested defeat before making it to the top and been called the best. It is very unusual when a big team lose to a small team because of how they are in terms of quality of play, but we’ve forgotten that they’re all part of the game, either you win or you lose. The Bundesliga rhyme has changed from last season and even if Bayern Munich are occupying the first position, it doesn’t mean they’ll be perfect throughout the game and won’t get any defeat in any of their games. The champions league competition is very different from the Bundesliga and their performance in one cannot be used to rate the performance in the other one, they play them with different gameplay and intensity. They’re still in the first place, so I don’t see any cause of alarm for them as of now.

If Bayern lost to some great team at the top, like to Leverkusen for example, or Frankfurt or anything like that then I would have understand, teams do lose at times, but they lost to Mainz, which makes no sense. By logic, Mainz has 22 points right now, thanks to beating Bayern, if Bayern won, then Mainz would have 19 points, which would have put them 12th right now in the league, that should be the clear reason why Bayern shouldn't lose this type of game.

In any case, they made a mistake and it's time to recover, if they end up with like some five game winning streak or something then yeah it won't be a problem and they will grow the gap and will do better. However, if they end up doing worse and not really do anything better, then we are dealing with a potential to go down as well. If they end up losing this year as well, the future of Bayern could seriously be at risk, they are this good because they spend money like they will win, one season was ok, but two season would cost them a lot.

Yes indeed, the defeat against Mainz is certainly a very bad result because after all, considering that Bayern Munich is still in an unbeaten result so far. But anyway, who would have thought, in the end Bayern Munich actually lost to Mainz and it seems, Bayern Munich may also lose their focus so they failed to maintain their unbeaten result in the Bundesliga. Unfortunately, for the next match Bayern Munich must play against Leipzig and ofcourse, the quality of Leipzig is better than Mainz.

So, if in the next match Bayern Munich fails to win because they face an opponent that is not easy, then there may be a chance for Bayer Leverkusen to overtake Bayern Munich over time. Therefore, Bayern Munich really have to stay focused on maintaining their top position in the Bundesliga standings, because Bayer Leverkusen I believe is still very  likely to continue to pose a serious threat to Bayern Munich.

It's not normal but it seems Bayern Munich has to extend the contract of their goalkeeper Manuel Neuer. We know Manuel Neuer was a legendary player for his team and he was the best goalkeeper in the world when he was in the good form years ago but now he is not in good form anymore and he is far from the good days he was because of this team.
Recently his mistakes had a negative effect on Bayern Munich and even in the games against Leverkusen he got a red card and this made his team lose the match when he could have had a better performance in this game.
Now there are rumors about Manuel Neuer extending his contract this Bayern Munich however he said he is not going to talk about it now.

The German Cup match between Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen was the first time Manuel Neuer received a red card. He has been a well-behaved and outstanding goalkeeper. That red was unfortunate because Bayern lost the game and Neuer got a broken rib. That injury has kept him outcome game after his suspension elapsed. Letting him to remain in Allianz Arena for another season is a good decision. Goalkeepers get better as they grow older, so I believe his performance will improve. But the club needs to start seeking for his replacement In case he fails to improve and to also prepare the club for his departure.

I think there's nothing wrong in aiming higher, they already have a bundesliga title and now they are anticipating the champions League which I think is good for them. It has been a very long time since they got to this point, at least there is nothing wrong in having huge aspirations. Perhaps they want to prove a point in European football after becoming runners up in the Europa League, they also want to try their luck in the champions league which would be a great improvement for the German side who were one of best teams in Europe last season.

That's why I want them to do well in the Bundesliga. I think that Xabi would bet on the UCL now, but by only focusing on it he has neglected his own league, That's not good, it's not healthy, it's difficult because the level of the Bundesliga is not low, they have well-known teams. What I like most about the Bundesliga is almost when it ends, that's when the other teams push and push to get there. That's why I think that Leverkusen have a very good chance. It's something that they can do if they put their mind to it. Even so, I think that they have a very good chance of shining again like they did last season.

This defeat does not create a big problem for Bayern Munich and I think this defeat will reflect positively on the team.
I dont know if that lose will be reflecting positively on the team , specially when there next game is against Leipzig on the coming friday.
If Bayern Munich dont win that game then it will be for sure getting very interesting in the first 6 places on the table , the season is still young.
To be honest i would love to see that Munich will be losing it as this gives more fire into the other teams and the race for the title.
However, a defeat is still a defeat and it will be a problem later. Maybe now it is not a problem because they are still at the top of the standings with a 4 point gap, but they should still have a 7 point gap if they had won that match. The season is still young as you said, so it is possible that they will also experience another defeat. However, this defeat will make the opponent see a little bit how to beat them learn from the team that can give Bayern Munich a defeat. That strategy will then be used and it is not impossible that it is very effective for the opponent to implement.

Yes. It is unthinkable that Bayern Munich, who have been impressive this season, finally suffered their first defeat this season against Mainz in a surprising way. This defeat made Bayern Munich's hopes of matching Leverkusen's unbeaten record last season finally disappear. Indeed, this defeat did not change Bayern Munich's ranking in the standings, they remain solid at the top, but this defeat should be a self-reflection for Kompany to be more serious in strengthening the defense line.
The facts is that Bayern Munich are know more maintain there performance anymore, that’s why they received a terrible defeat against the team that nobody can believe they’ve capacity of defeated Bayern Munich; but indeed with there much efforts they it possible by won the  2-1: which was very disappointed from them.

The way Bayern suffered a lot in the hand of the Mainz that are not strong enough, if they face a strong team in their next match i don’t think they can able to remain in their currently position which is top of the table; because I can see that their only ahead of Leverkusen with just 4 points.

I think this defeat was good for Bayern Munich because the desire to set a new record was stressing the team. It is good for the team to believe that they will win constantly, but a team also needs to lose in order to see their shortcomings. This defeat does not create a big problem for Bayern Munich and I think this defeat will reflect positively on the team.

It is an advantage for every team to know their shortcomings in advance. Munich also saw their shortcomings with this defeat. They may suffer more defeats, but I think the lessons they will learn from these defeats will contribute to the team.
The last time I checked football it is all about win, lose and draw. It is fine that you have more wins, less number of draws and if possible lesser number of losses. By this you could aim to win a title or trophy by the end of the season. No team goes to a particular season and decides to play unbeaten throughout the season. It only happens in a rare conditions.
With the present situation of the Bundesliga, it will become very much impossible for a team to play unbeaten throughout the season. This is because, it is no longer a league that is dominated by Bayern Munich. Look very closely behind Bayern Munich you will see Bayern Leverkusen and Frankfurt, so if Bayern Munich makes mistake in only two matches they are out of the top. This shows how competitive the Bundesliga has become and we do not expect Bayern Munich to have 100% record

Previously, Munich had never tasted defeat in the 13 matches they had played in the Bundesliga, but that sweet record was finally tarnished by Mainz in week 14. The poor finishing may have something to do with the injury to Kane, who has been a very active goal scorer for Munich.
Munich really struggled against Mainz who played very disciplined, this defeat was a lesson for Kompany when facing Leipzig in the next match, he had to find a solution to the poor finishing because the opponent he faced had also just managed to beat Frankfurt who had appeared dominant this season.

At first Bayern Munich was playing hard but after that their players stopped working hard due to which they lost the match. They should have kept the win list in their matches as it would have given them good position and points. Bayern Munich lost the match by only 1 goal as they could have drawn the match by one goal. Losing this match is sad because Bayern Munich has been playing well for a long time and will continue to play well.Bayern Munich could have scored, the fact is that they were under pressure why they couldn't score, but you also know how strong and how they can let Mainz win the match.Bayern Munich have to work hard in the next match and win this match as they can win this match and get the points for the earlier match.  Bayern Munich should not spoil their record because of their carelessness.
Bayern Munich suffered a surprise defeat. No one should be blamed for this because they are the only ones to blame. They played ineffectively throughout the match. They actually played well but the Mainz defense was very good, they couldn't get past them. Of course the Bundesliga is a 34-match marathon. Losing is something that is certain in every match, winning is a must that must be fought for. In the end, Bayern Munich fell for the first time in the Bundesliga when they visited Mainz's headquarters, they could not maintain their unbeaten record in the previous 13 matches. In the 14th week, Bayern Munich had to lose full points to maintain their position at the top of the standings. Losing occasionally is normal, but that doesn't mean Kompany won't revise his team after the match. Based on statistics, Munich's players did not play optimally, Kane's absence and Upamecano's bench had quite an impact on their effectiveness in this match. Muller was unable to perform optimally as a replacement for Kane, as well as Musiala who usually plays impressively. Plus, several Munich defenders were not in optimal condition. Even so, Munich is still ranked at the top, their position is still quite safe even though they are only 4 points away from Leverkusen. Maybe it could be because Bayern's players were a little tired from the effects of their hard work in the previous match against Sharhtar in the Champions League, they were required to win so that their position was safe to continue the remaining two matches. as a result, they lost to Mainz after that. it could be so, besides other factors. but what is certain is that Bayern Munich still has a big chance to win the trophy this season, but it is an important note for Kompany so that his team plays optimally and returns to the winning track.

Bayern Munich dominated the match with 69% ball possession and released 13 shots, but they only managed to make 1 shot on target and it was ineffective. Without Harry Kane, Bayern Munich could not win the match and this was their first defeat after 13 matches without defeat.

In the end, Mainz gave Bayern Munich their first defeat in the Bundesliga, this defeat not only made Kompanty have to learn from his mistakes but he also had to be able to play the role of all players without having to rely on just one player. So if there is an injured player he can utilize the potential of other players.

I think they recently have been more dependent on Musiala. Kane is a great player, but he has games where he scores several goals and then has games where he doesn't score. What counts are the important goals and if we leave the game against Dinamo aside, he went missing in the Champions League. In my opinion he isn't fast enough as a striker. He has certain qualities, but he is incomplete.

However, Müller is not the player he used to be. I liked him a lot in the past because he was so freaky, you could never know where he is and what his next movement was going to be. I doubt he himself knew that. But that made him be a different kind of striker although those times when he scored so many goals, also very important goals, have been over for a while now.

The loss against Mainz was a great example of what Bayern lacks and this is more than just Harry Kane.
