It won’t make any sense going after a lost treasure, is it better you fight for what is at reach for you. Bundesliga is far beyond their reach now after losing all of their opportunities to make it to the top of the table. Champions League is a more tougher competition than the Bundesliga, but when it is viewed, you’ll see that they have more hope in the champions league than they have in the Bundesliga because of the nature of each competition. There are still a lot of top teams in the champions league which will make it a bit difficult for them to make it to the final of the competition and win the title. Although, nothing is impossible if they put their mind to it and work towards achieving their goals in the champions competition, it won’t just be that easy for them even though they’re going to win it.
In the Bundesliga, Bayern Leverkusen have taken the far lead and chasing them now will be futile because they look so strong and have not lost any match for a long time now, you can’t put hope in such teams to lose points in order to have an advantage to replace them in the first place. Bayern Munich can still finish second on the table, and if they do so, they’ll have an automatic qualification to the champions league next season, this will make them start preparing for the next year’s Champions League and also league title since it looks they can’t make it to win the title again and champions league is still under probability.
It's true, Tuchel will certainly care for his squad hopes in the Champions League, fighting to get to the final and win the championship trophy. Of course it won't be easy, because their path is very steep, where they have to be able to get rid of one of the elite EPL teams that is on the rise, namely Arsenal. On paper, Bayern has a chance to beat Arsenal, provided they are able to unleash every potential they have.
Regarding Bayern chances in the Bundesliga, I think we all have the same perception, I mean their chances are already very low, they need a miracle to get it. Tuchel certainly understands this well, therefore they will focus fully on the Champions League, while maintaining the runnerup position in the Bundesliga standings.
The two favorite teams to win will face each other in the quarter finals, Man City versus Madrid. Automatically there is only one favorite team left in the semifinals, where the competition becomes a little easier, so Bayern chances are still open enough to talk a lot. Of course, Bayern must be able to beat Arsenal first, which is not an easy job because Arsenal is in their best performance.
