Leverkusen are playing at a completely different level comparing to the last few years. Xabi Alonso has put together a team that is keen to play football and enjoys playing together. I do not see that that spirit will fade in the remaining match days. Sure they will not have a 10-point lead at the end of the season, but they will certainly have a comfortable point lead.

The 10 point difference continues to be maintained. There are only 8 weeks left until the end of the league and Leverkusen can win the championship even if they lose 3 of them. He can become champion if he wins his other matches. His opponent, Bayern, has to win every match. Maybe if we watch a delay in the coming weeks, we may even see Leverkusen declare the championship in the near future.

It is clear who will get the Bundesliga title and it will not be Bayern Munich, they will only be able to become runners-up this season and fight again for the title next season.

we had the same thought that I thought there would be a surprise in the Leverkusen match and the surprise was only a draw but it turned out that after Patrik Schick locked in the final score, Leverkusen was able to continue trying to survive using the strategy given to Xabi and I saw that Xabi continued to give encouragement to the players always use the right strategy and almost end up in a draw but it turns out my worries didn't come true.

And i have just seen it right now that Dortmund has managed to win that game in last minutes or something like that against Frankfurt.
Thats for sure a good thing to get them back on a Champions League spot with the National Team break now this week.
I really hope that they can keep up and that they at the end of the season holding that place.

It looks like Leverkusen will create an invincible season for them, just like Arsenal did in the 2003/2004 season where they managed to end the season unbeaten. Of course, this will be a record that will be set in Bundesliga history, and will place Xabi as one of the few coaches who is able to create an unbeaten record for a season in the league.

On the other hand, Dortmund's victory over Frankfurt maintained their position in the top four, only one point different from Leipzig in fifth place. This is not a safe position for Dortmund. Leverkusen are still able to keep their chances of winning the season with a gap of almost double digits from Munich and even after a long time we see Munich dominate the Bundesliga of course seeing Leverkusen can win this season is strange especially they can complete it with an unbeaten record in the Bundesliga, so far we can see how Leverkusen are able to present every surprise surprise in their matches that seems to state if they deserves to win the Bundesliga this season.

I quite understand the angle you are bringing this from but Borrusia Dortmund has missed again this season, only that the level of their missing is much more than the regular. They were still able to hold the second position in most recent seasons which was made possible by the most regular ways that it and Bayern Munich drags the top positions. This happens until Bayern Leverkusen distorted the norms once again like an underdog, and I must confess that I love this. No doubt, Dortmund did well yesterday, though I doubted their winning as Frankfurt is not to be dared as well. You can see my fear from how the match was played by the two teams. I started getting worried when Frankfurt scored before the 14th minute of the match but it got balanced when Dortmund equalised in the same first half. That is when the game became tougher as no one scored until the 81st minute when Dortnmunt scored their second goal and 12 minutes after the 3rd goal due to a penalty. Thanks to the extra time though, they would have ended the game with 2-1.

For me, both teams were great and I must say that the luck was certainly in favour of Dortmund when Frankfurt which was supposed to be mounting more pressure became relaxed in the midfield and the defence, that's what actually cost them because those last goals were avoidable and were highly unexpected by me judging by how they've defended so far from the 33rd minute. Well, Dortmund should not still rejoice so much with the 4th position as RB Leipzig is a major contender for that spot as well, and it seems they are better serious in their last games compared to Dortmund.

As for Leverkusen, no doubt,  Xabi continues to do a good job, and they've had 38 unbeaten records in all competitions so far. But I must confess that SC Freiburg gave them a tough time yesterday while they narrowly led by one goal. Nevertheless, the club is the name being hailed most by people now and the favourite for the Bundesliga Cup this season. It is not a must that Bayern wins it all the time and the whole 10 wide points that it uses to gap Bayern can't be overemphasised that the club would lift the cup this season. They truly deserve it.

Bayern Leverkusen so far have won the hearts of many for being able to keep up with this consistent performance which is about to give them their first Bundesliga title in history. Not just the Bundesliga, but also in the European competitions, they look so confident that they can win both of the trophies this season. For Bundesliga, it looks already a big possibility for them to win it while they require or need extra efforts being put into the Europa League before coming back back home with the trophy. They continue and keep dominating the league and that alone is impressive to believe in their capability of winning the league even though they don’t get to win the Europa League.

After Bayern Munich thrashed Darmstadt to reduce their points difference behind league leaders Bayer Leverkusen, a lot of people were already thinking that we might experience a turnaround in the league table soon and that's because Bayern Munich is one club that can produce unimaginable performances in the last few weeks of the league to win the league title but that I don't think will happen this season because Xabi Alonso is very keen on winning the German Bundesliga  trophy at the end of the season.
Bayer Leverkusen's result today against Freiburg proves that they're ain't going to give on their title chase this season and can do anything possible to make sure they win the league that they've never won in the history of the club.

Leverkusen seems to be going according to what we predicted, where Xabi Alonso squad will continue to walk step by step closer to winning the trophy they have never achieved. It's true, it will be very difficult to surpass what they achieved this season in subsequent seasons, luck plays an important role in their unbeaten record this season. This was seen in one of their matches in the Europa League against Qarabag, and in the Bundesliga their greatest luck occurred when they beat Bayern Munich.
