My suggestion would be using bench players this week, since they are too far ahead already, there is no point in trying to win, use the bench players and young players and rest your real squad, that way they could end up playing next up a lot better with their real eleven. This is a tactic that many teams use, and I believe that it would benefit them, if they keep playing their real players, they may get injured.
This is why I believe that we should probably consider this situation to be a little different, can't see how they are not all that well. I believe that we are going to put in something that would take a while, so Leverkusen could just put bench players and lose because of that.
Their next match is against Freiburg, a relatively strong team in the Bundesliga. These new fixtures are getting too harsh, especially for the teams which play in the European Leagues and survive till the end of the season. The workload is too much. Toni Kroos had complained about it a few years ago. And if the teams have top quality players who get chances in their own National teams, the workload is way too much. To be honest, this is reducing the quality of the league and football.
But Bayer Leverkusen has nothing to worry about, I believe they would be able to beat Freiburg but it would be hard. A draw is a realistic result, they can keep their undefeated streak as well.
Freiburg is having something positive as they are scoring goals in every game which is good even their defense is worse but still things can good interesting in this game for the both teams before going into break here we have interesting thing can Bayer Leverkusen keep 10 points difference or no.
