Just a little reminder to a few of the Users in this Topic that this Thread is for the German League and not the Champions League.
The last to pages most of the posts should be done in the Champions League Thread.

In the todays evening game between Mainz against Gladbaach its hard to say who will win that match.
Even Mainz has the home advantage i am not sure if that is enough about Gladbach.
So i going and place my bet for Gladbach as i guess that they have the better Team.
Sometimes indeed we (including me) often follow the existing atmosphere too much, when someone discusses something out of place, of course, it will be immediately connected by someone else to continue the discussion, so that in the end the thread will look like a graffiti on a school wall containing mathematics, physics and even biology materials Grin.

The match between Mainz and Gladbach will be the opening of week 8 of the Bundesliga this season, the two teams are so far ranked 8th and 7th in the Bundesliga standings so this shows that the two have not different performances at all, we can even say if the match will be very unpredictable, maybe Mainz has the advantage as the host and it can give them better encouragement and motivation in the match, But, Gladbach also cannot be underestimated because they have a strong squad and some key players who can make a difference in the match later, especially since we know that so far Gladbach has often been a team that is able to surprise us in the Bundesliga by beating big teams, so if I had to choose, of course I would also prefer Gladbach who will win the match.

I sometimes really can't believe this forum, one match and everyone is going 180 degrees, and from unbeatable the team turns to shit, and from complete losers, they became lead challengers to the title.

Also, this is the Bundesliga thread, can you stop with the Champions League talk, we end up having the same discussions on both topics and for what good? Do you think Bayern is in a crisis? Do you think Dortmund is disappointing and Bayer is out of form? Then put 1 $ on this multi and you get 275 back right now at Stake!

No takers?
Damn the bet you placed is very risky but there is no harm maybe Augsburg should get more miracles but unfortunately I will be tempted for Dortmund to win. Are you serious about Werder being able to beat Leverkusen? This is the second bet I can't follow. And the 3rd bet I will throw up both hands and put the bet and go to sleep.

Hehehe... Am no taker on this. The chances of this prediction playing is not even up to 1% in my opinion. Regardless that they're all playing from away it still doesn't change their ability to beat the home team's. At least let assume Borussia Dortmund lost  to FC Augsburg what's the guarantee that Bayern Munich who lost to Barcelona in the UCL will want to repeat such a losing streak or Leverkusen side who had a draw too. They will want to impress their fans and use this game's to placate them for their unimpressive performance in the UCL and that's certain. It's a no takers!

Bayern Munich has suffered 2 defeats in the Champions League in the 3 matches they have played, the last time they suffered a crushing defeat against Barcelona, even conceding in the early minutes of the match, precisely in just 1 minute Barcelona had broken into Bayern's goal, isn't that very surprising? even I think when everyone was not ready to watch the match but Barca had surprised with that quick goal. Although Bayern Munich were able to equalize in the 18th minute through a goal scored by Harry Kane but Barcelona replied with a 2nd goal in the 36th minute created by Lewandowski and only 9 minutes later Raphael created the 3rd goal and finally in the first half Barcelona was 3 goals ahead and in the second half Barcelona really did not give Bayern Munich a gap in this match and Bayern had to swallow that defeat.

2 Germany giants were defeated by 2 Spanish giants, well that's the big title today that I heard everywhere. And indeed the quality of Bayern Munich now cannot surpass the strength of Barcelona in the hands of Hansi Flick. Hopefully this defeat will not make Bayern Munich weak in the Bundesliga. There is still a chance to improve and Kompany does not need to be discouraged. Bayern Munich in the past made Barcelona submit and now it has been repaid in a painful way too.
Bayern Munich are not that weak of a team to lose against Barcelona by such a big margin. Before the match started and after the match I predicted Bayern Munich to be ahead against Barcelona and I had Bayern Munich in the best position for the entire Champions League season but they performed very poorly against Barcelona. Barcelona have performed brilliantly this season. At the beginning of the season where this team did not have as many quality players as Real Madrid, we never considered this team to be in the best position in La Liga, but so far this team is at the top of the points table. El Clasico match ahead where Barcelona will have the chance to get full points against Real Madrid and that is the match we are looking forward to.

A rather poor performance by the German clubs in the Champions League this week. Both Bayern and Borussia suffered high losses against Real and Barcelona respectively. [...]

It was a surprising lost as both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund lost by a margin of 3 goals each. We can forget about Borussia Dortmund because they are playing away and their opponent is Real Madrid, the king of the Champions League. Bayern Munich is the only one that can't be forgotten, even though Barcelona scored a quick goal early in the match, they were able to quickly score a goal scored by Harry Kane. I didn't expect the result to be like that in the end.
It was surprising to see Bayern Munich lose with a difference of 3 goals, especially since they were actually able to provide a tight resistance for Barcelona in the match, but we have to admit that actually the strategy and tactics applied by hansi flick in the match were more effective compared to the Munich game which looked very monotonous throughout the match, I think there were many communication errors and passes,  As well as Munich's poor defense is a weakness that Barcelona was able to use well to win the match, so far Munich is in 23rd place in the Champions League standings with 1 win and two defeats, so I think it will be difficult for them to qualify automatically to the round of 16 later although they still have 5 matches left, so I think in his first season coaching, Kompany must to improve every weakness that Munich has at the moment and of course it is better for them to focus on the current domestic league rather than the Champions League.

If the Barcelona vs. Munich match had been a competitive one or if Bayern Munich had lost by a narrow margin, we might have taken this defeat lightly. But the Bayern Munich team lost against Barcelona with a big margin of 4-1. Even in the first half, Bayern Munich fell behind by 3-1. Munich probably haven't lost a match against Barcelona in the last 10 years. So Munich's defeat by such a big margin is definitely painful for Munich fans.

Munich have also dropped points in their last few Bundesliga matches against Frankfurt and Leverkusen. However, the top spot in the points table is still occupied by Bayern Munich. However, if the performance of Munich's players does not improve, Bayern Munich may not be able to occupy the top spot in the Bundesliga table.

Nobody says Kompany is the best, but recently before his defeat by Barcelona, people were singing praises of him that he is good, he has improved the team's performance, so why is it that one crazy defeat is what makes him not good and he is been critized. Kompany is trying his best for the club and he will keep learning daily, and that is what he will use to improve himself and the team.

Bayern have a poor defense which Kompany needs to work on, also they cannot resist counter attack which is another weakness. Apart from these, I don't see any major problem again. He is still young and is learning by experience.

That's what's happening right now. when fans don't accept defeat or mistakes from the strategy implemented by the coach, they will make it a reason for their criticism.
I think the same thing might also be experienced by Flick if the loser is Barcelona. maybe what is unacceptable is the significant number of defeats. meaning that the mistakes made were not corrected or the strategy carried out by Kompany was unsuccessful.

What Kompany has to do I think is prove it with the results of the next few matches. that indeed facing a team with better tactics is quite difficult to overcome. there are still many matches left and there are still many matches that require full concentration. I hope Kompany can give better.

Vincent Komoany is a good coach, he have talent of coaching, but he is yet to get the big team coaching mentality which was among the reasons he lost to Barcelona Yesterday, but there is still hope for Bayern Munich if they can win their remaining champions league matches, they can still make it to the round of 16.

He's not a good coach and not fit for the job of being the manager for Bayern Munich, the club is to big for him. He's a new manager that doesn't have any experience yet but only got favoured to become the coach of Bayern Munich. What has he achieved in his career as a coach that we should call him a good coach. He's below average and very soon the whole world will get to know how awful as a manager he's. Vincent Kompany should focus on the league as you said and forget about the champions league. He first lost to Aston villa and now losing to Barcelona that other Bayern Munich managers has been winning always in the champions league.
Vincent Kompany is not really good, that was proven in the match against Barcelona when Kompany still doesn't know how to deal with big opponents. I am not satisfied with coach Kompany's tactics. I think coach Kompany is "too naive" and does not have enough experience to lead the team, especially in big matches. We all know that Kompany is just Bayern's backup plan when it comes to choosing a coach. The decision to appoint an inexperienced strategist like Kompany as Bayern coach once caused fierce controversy.

Kompany will have no excuses. He is young. He must learn from these games. A defeat like that won't define Bayern's season. I know things are pretty bad for Kompany and his team. They will need to get better results in their next encounters to keep their hopes of progressing alive.

Bayern Munich didn't hire an experienced coach and they paid for it against Barcelona otherwise I think Bayern Munich could never have lost this match normally forget they have got strong forwards like Kane in this team and this player could have had a much better performance because of the weak defender's and young palyers they have in Barcelona and this could be a good chance for them but Kompany didn't use this chance.
I think now Kompany should start finding the weakness in this game they lost against Barcelona and get the team ready for the next Bundesliga match.

Dortmund thought a 2-goal advantage could make them win the match but they didn't realize that they were facing the best club in the Champions League so even though Dortmund was 2 goals ahead it didn't make the Real Madrid players' mentality weak they had indeed been trained to have a strong mentality in any difficult situation until finally Real Madrid was able to make an extraordinary comeback and make Dortmund lose control in the second half.
The defeat against Real Madrid was actually not a surprise to me because initially I also thought Dortmund would be defeated again like when they met in the UCL final last season.
Do you believe that Madrid in the first half was only trying to assess Dortmund strategy?
Ancelotti strategy style and Madrid tactics always take advantage of opportunities in the second half and in the first half Madrid always sees strategies and opportunities that can be destroyed. Just look at how Madrid appearance in the first half looked ordinary but in the second half Madrid crushed Dortmund weakness with a long pass that made it difficult for Dortmund defense to block it.
Most people say the same thing if Madrid victory is guaranteed because in the history of the two teams meetings, Madrid has always been able to get satisfactory results.

Having just three points out of possible nine points is not a good performance for big team like Bayern Munich in the Champions League that they have good reputation and have been among the best teams in the competition.
4-1 thrashing defeat against Barcelona yesterday should have give them hint for leaving the Champions League for the champions that have experienced coaches and players, by focusing on the German Bundesliga so that they can give enough points gap to Dortmund and Leverkusen that might be obstacles for them in the Bundesliga title race.

Munich are under pressure after only managing to pick up 3 points from a possible 9 in the 10 games played. Kompany is under increasing pressure as his work gets harder in the next match, winning is a non-negotiable target in order to open up the opportunity to qualify for the knock-out round.
The situation that occurred when Kompany handled Bayern Munich in the Champions League:
  • Bayern lost two consecutive UCL group stage games for the first time since 2009.
  • Conceded 4 goals in a UCL group stage match for the first time in history.
  • Bayern Lose to Barcelona for the First Time Since 2015.

It is unexpected that Bayern Munich will experience a stressful situation. for a team that is used to winning almost all domestic matches, not to mention their greatness in European competitions. But how could they lose consecutively in Champions League matches.

and this is a sign that they have to work hard again, especially in the back line; their defense looks fragile at the moment. Kompany needs to find a solution to close the gap in his back line and make the team's attack sharper, if they want to return to winning ways.

and we can't lie that with extensive experience on the European stage, Bayern Munich has a strong dominance because they are a quality team. In the upcoming match, getting three points of victory is a must. Therefore, Bayern Munich must be able to improve and balance between defense and attack. In this way, Bayern can improve its position and once again appear stronger in European competitions.

That’s all about football so the Dortmund know supposed surprising you, because even when the match was begin and the way I saw Dortmund performance I see that their first 2 goals as a luck goals they only manage to dominated the first half  goals, and that’s why in the second half they didn’t have much capacity to attack the Real Madrid as they way there able hold their Real Madrid in the first half. That’s how the Dortmund performances supposed be in the second, because their have use all the capacity and opportunities in the half.
Dortmund didn't learn from some experiences when facing Real Madrid so they didn't imagine that there would be an extraordinary comeback from Ancelotti's men. I think Dortmund's two goals can't be called lucky because they were indeed good cooperation to create opportunities to score goals, but they were careless and too busy chasing additional goals that they forgot to strengthen their defense.

Dortmund were unable to maintain their lead in the second half and they allowed Real Madrid to play the ball wider in attack so what happened was Dortmund lost the victory they had previously achieved.

A rather poor performance by the German clubs in the Champions League this week. Both Bayern and Borussia suffered high losses against Real and Barcelona respectively. Leverkusen got back from France with only one point after a 1-1 draw with Brest.
On a positive note, Stuttgart finally won their first UCL game this season, surprisingly beating Juventus 1-0 in an away game. It was not an easy win though, and the only goal was scored in 90+2minute, following a red card for Juventus player. Hopefully, that win will help them unblock their potential. They can really play decent football and could go far in the competition. Their major problem is converting chances into goals. They could've easily scored 3 or 4 goals on Tue and I don't even mean the missed penalty.

As for the Europa League, the only German team in that tournament, Eintracht Frankfurt, defeated Latvian RFS 1-0 and moved to the 6th place in the table.
Speaking about Bundesliga clubs in Champion league i think it is a coincidence that in Champion league Bayern Munich and Dortmund has been met the teams from Laliga Barcelona and Real Madrid at the same times but unfortunately both teams has been lost with big scores especially for Dortmund that they can leading 2 goals in the first half but Dortmund was unable to managed their consistency and they have to conceded 5 goals in that match

Besides them i have been notice about Leipzig performance too because yesterday they lost from Liverpool indeed Leipzig only lost with slim score from Liverpool but this result is makes them suffering 3 losing streak in Champion league and i have to says Leipzig was done in this competition and i think they won't be reach to top 24 at the end of League phase

I agree with you. Both are great strikers and are still productive even though they are in their 30s. Both have great finishing ability and I don't think we need to compare them. Lewi played in Munich's glory days and managed to dominate the Bundesliga. Kane is unlucky because currently Munich does not only have Dortmund as their rival. RB Leipzig and Leverkusen are also solid and even Munich and Kane failed to win a trophy last season. Maybe the only difference between the two is that Lewandowski has a trophy with Munich. I hope Kane will be dominant this season and can get the first trophy in his career.

Well, given the way things are going, it's obvious that every time we see the games, we could say that the luck factor exists, and obviously Kane doesn't come out very well, some call him "dumb", but that's something I don't see well, I think that the player lacks a bit of luck, but technically, in everything he is very good, but it's something that can be fixed ,  Bayern's players are very good, they can help him score the goals, it doesn't matter that he is the one who scores the goals, at Bayern they need that striker at a thousand miles an hour.
