Vincent Kompany has indeed gained great experience in the past but it is not a guarantee that he can make a difference to Bayern Munich, while Alonso is more able to provide a guarantee of being able to win the Bundesliga title again because Vincent Kompany is also his first time managing the Bayern Munich club, whereas it takes a little time to adapt and be able to brought changes to Bayern Munich's performance.
It looks like next season Bayern Munich will have to accept bad luck again or maybe worse, lose the Bundesliga title again.
Every league comes with their own peculiarities such that you may be good in one and I'm getting to the other you turn out unproductive and this happens to both players and coaches and I don't think in this case it's going to be any different because kompany is to be faced with a serious challenge that's not with a regular average team in the bundesliga, the team he's to handle is like the giant of the bundesliga.

It's very obvious that the expectations on him is really going to be high because the team he is to coach is a very top notch team in the whole of the German league and they have a record they have maintained in a very long time of which they couldn't maintain with tuchel and would want to get back on track so any coach who's to take over and be in charge of the team has got a whole lot to do so he can be able to meet up with the expectations and the standards the team has gotten but then it's not looking like all those matters a lot to the management at this time.

Leverkusen under the management of Xabi alons has achieved quiet a whole lot this season and now they would definitely have a working strategy for the bundesliga considering their experience last season and so the only league they will really have to struggle with will be the champions league because they don't have so much experience with it so it's more like they building an experience around it now.

On paper, Borussia Dortmund will not win this final match, because the opponent they have to beat is a very tough team like Real Madrid, so their chances of winning this match are quite small. However, that doesn't mean their opportunities are completely closed, they still have opportunities but their opportunities are not as big as Real Madrid's.
They must be prepared to receive Real Madrid's attacks which are so effective, they must ensure that their defense is in very high focus, so that it is not easy for Real Madrid's attack line to penetrate.
It's not easy if they lock up several key players from Real Madrid, because almost all Real Madrid players can make a difference in the match.
It seems, you are too confident that Dortmund can't beat Madrid in the final, although this is quite natural considering Madrid status as favorites, but should we underestimate Dortmund, who have worked hard to reach the final?
I'm sure if you remember how previously Leverkusen was also very favored in the final match, many people even said as you are saying now that on paper Atlanta would not be able to beat Leverkusen, but in fact?
Congratulations to Real Madrid.
Dortmund 0 - 2 Real Madrid

Indeed, at first Dortmund were quite dominant and good at controlling the course of the match. it even made me worry. However, Real Madrid's championship qualities are quite different. They have had quite an experience in the UCL final. And this keeps them attached to the code. Ancelotti is also an extraordinary mastermind. Finally, in the second half, Real Madrid was really able to control the situation very well. And in the end, with 2 goals scored by Carvajal and Vini JR, Real Madrid finally won the UCL this season. Bellingham was one of the assist. this is great deal.

Xavi Alonso Vs Vincent Kompany, the 2 young coaches

While I was still wondering why Bayern Munich had to hire Vincent company who was not able to manage Burnley FC to stay in the English Premier League, I also had to imagine the positive aspect of the signing. We all understood how Xavi Alonso and his boys took Bayern Munich unaware and rip them of their birth rite (The German Bundesliga). Xavi Alonso having rejected many offers including from Bayern Munich, decided to stay in Leverkusen. Now that a young manager is incharge of Bayern Munich, I think it will be a very huge challenge between both of them and the contest will inturn make Bundesliga more interesting.

Vincent Kompany who failed to manage Burnley to stay in the Premier League has been appointed as the new manager of Bayern Munich. To be honest, everyone was surprised to see Bayern Munich that will challenge Leverkusen and also play in the next Champions League signed a manager who was unable to manage a weak club like Burnley, how possible is he going to manage a top club like Bayern Munich to win the Bundesliga title next season? Although Vincent Kompany was able to manage Burnley when they were playing in the Championship, they performed very well and won the League. But the Premier League is not an easy league to maintain a club, I believe that is why a lot of managers refuse to manage any Premier League clubs.

Since Xabi Alonso did a great job at Bayer Leverkusen this season, Bayern Munich management may believe that the young manager will be the best to manage the club next season to compete with Xabi Alonso. I can't wait to see how both managers will battle for the title next season.
I'll admit that Xabi Alonso has done well for Leverkusen. But Vincent Kompany can do something. Kompany may not have Alonso's trophy cabinet, but he might know what to do. He won many Premier League titles as Manchester City captain. He's facing a huge challenge at Bayern, but Kompany loves it. Bayern needed a makeover. They were getting stale, predictable. Bayern may need Kompany's underdog mindset and drive to ignite their asses. I'm excited to watch Kompany's work. This may transform Bayern and the Bundesliga

No one is doubting the credibility of Vincent Kompany as a good manager but you can not compare the Burnley team that he managed to a big club like Bayern Munich, yes he has got some good experience as a player and as a manager but I just hope he doesn't end up like Frank Lampard when he was appointed as the manager of Chelsea. Kompany is a young manager I believe his age and the experience that the Munich management saw in him was the main reason why he was chosen as the manager when there are other experienced managers that are available for the job.  Personally, I don't see the Bayern Munich team having a bad season next season this is because as we speak he has already studied the weakness of the team watching them from outside and making him the head coach now he will likely wat h with the players to get a better performance which is what the team is lacking so far so let's give him one season and watch if the game play of Bayern Munich will get better of they will need to get another manager before the end of the season.

Kompany was definitely a good player when he was playing and he was one of the best defenders in the world but he was not a good coach so far in the games we saw from him in Burnley since he couldn't help Burnley to even stay in the Premier League.
On the other hand, the situation in Bayern Munich is getting worse and now it seems after Toni Kroos getting retired from Real Madrid, they want to hire another player, and Joshua Kimmich is linked to this team. Joshua Kimmich's relationship with Tuchel was not good to make this player think about leaving and now after Real Madrid sent an offer to him, he is again thinking about leaving Bayern Munich for Real Madrid and taking the place of Kroos in this team.

He is a new coach and indeed when at Burnley he had shortcomings but things like this do not need to be a benchmark and as a benchmark even though it is risky but when Bayern has made a choice then for now we only need to see whether this is the right decision or not.
The match between players and coaches is important because even if the coach is good when there is no match with the club, the results may not be expected and that happened for Bayern this season.

When he first coached for Bayern, Tuchel was considered a suitable coach and an ideal replacement for Nagelsmann but in the end it backfired for Bayern so a good coach is not really a guarantee that it will fit right away.
Currently Kompany has been given the opportunity so he just has to do his job as well as possible as an answer that indeed Bayern did not choose Kompany wrongly even though he had experienced previous failures at Burnley.

Despite various assumptions, Kompany deserves the opportunity to prove himself. Kompany main priority is of course to bring Bayern Munchen back to dominating the Bundesliga next season, even though we know this will never be easy. The main competitor in the race for the trophy is definitely Leverkusen, the team that holds the status of defending champion and has never suffered a single defeat in the Bundesliga. Kompany certainly understands the intensity of the competition he will face. Armed with his experience with Burnley in the Premier League, Kompany has the opportunity to manage Bayern Munich well, so that it can meet fans expectations.

Bayern Munchen management basically looked like they were gambling when they appointed Kompany as the new manager, they were very brave in taking risks. Sure enough, it seems like Bayern Munchen wants the touch of a young manager hand to create change, as Leverkusen did with Xabi Alonso. Meanwhile, the competition for the trophy next season is actually not limited to Leverkusen and Bayern Munchen, Stuttgart, Dortmund and Leipzig are also worth considering.

He couldn’t help Burnley stayed in the premier league but maybe he can make Bayern Munich become a champion tomorrow since he’s now their coach. Sometimes, we can’t tell how far a person can do when given a new task to do even though they’ve failed in the previous ones. I just want to have hope in Kompany, the same way Bayern Munich had in him to give him the managerial job.

I wasn’t expecting Real Madrid to find a replacement for Toni Kroos after all the years he has spent in the club and how the young upcoming players in his position have also learned from him. I thought they’ve learned enough to play on their own now without needing to sign another big midfielder from another club to take his position. Kimmich will be glad to play at Real Madrid, at least he’ll get more trophies to his career before he finally retires.

I think the final match is not a match that is easy to predict like normal matches in a competition because sometimes the team that is underestimated can give a surprise currently, Dortmund just need to keep their mentality and motivation high in the final match, so that in this way, Dortmund can at least play without the burden of facing a team as big as Madrid in the final match today.

Unlike you, I personally tend to see both teams as having good opportunities,it's the same to be able to win the final match, regardless of the different status of the two teams at the moment, the final match will start in less than 40 minutes and I hope that both teams today can play with high enthusiasm so that it gives us an exciting final match to watch.

Today is the day for Dortmund to compete in the Champions League finale. As a reminder if Dortmund manage to be champions tonight this will help Frankfurt also gain a Champions League spot.  Wink

I respect Frankfurt's run throughout the season of course. But considering the huge gap between Dortmund and them in the standings this would be a really free quota for Frankfurt there.  Tongue  However this isn't the highest probability to happen today though. Real Madrid are expected to be quite dominant. Terzic will need to play patiently and look for some chances by counter-attacks.

If it doesn't happen then Frankfurt wouldn't make it a big problem. They are already going to the Europa League at least.

Almost only an hour left before the match between Dortmund and Real Madrid starts. Probably 90% of people who know that this match is going to be the Champions League final, are expecting Real Madrid to win this match.

But let’s say that the unexpected actually happens, it is going to be really crazy to see Frankfurt actually achieving a spot in the Champions League competition. Crazy to think that they just got the sixth team that is below them, Hoffenheim. They have also performed pretty badly in the last few matches. There was a good chance that Hoffenheim actually would have finished ahead of them. Anyway, I do not think Real Madrid is losing.

Leverkusen is very lucky because they have succeeded in appointing a coach who can provide something extraordinary to the club. Xabi is one of the most successful coaching appointments in my opinion for Leverkusen. The reason is that he also lifted the club's performance from a situation that was not good. At the beginning of his arrival, Leverkusen was a club that had to struggle at the bottom of the table, and his arrival saved and improved their performance until they were able to finish in the best ranking.

In his second season with Leverkusen he was able to immediately provide something extraordinary by winning the Bundesliga title, which we know is a very difficult thing to do, because Bayern Munich's dominance is felt in the Bundesliga, so this is history where they managed to break that record. listed by Bayern Munich for more than a decade. Leverkusen was also very lucky when Xabi decided to stay, even though an offer came to him and it was from a big club too.
Comparing Kompany to Xabi Alonso, who led Bayer Leverkusen to Bundesliga glory in his first season as a coach, showcases the growing trend of European clubs seeking out young coaches. Regardless of their differing achievements this season, both coaches represent a shift in the coaching landscape, where clubs are willing to take calculated risks on young talent. Kompany's upcoming debut season with a top club like Bayern Munich gives a significant opportunity for him to display his coaching abilities on a high stage, especially given the caliber of players at his disposal.

As Bayern Munich seek to maintain their competitive nature in European football, their decision to appoint Kompany signifies a willingness to embrace fresh and innovative coaching approaches. Kompany's blend of experience as a former elite player and his budding coaching career puts him as an intriguing prospect for Bayern. While there are imminent challenges in transitioning from coaching a smaller club to a European powerhouse like Bayern, Kompany's appointment reflects a trend in football where clubs seek coaches who can manage technicality with a different view, regardless of age or coaching level.

Alonso has very much been impressive in his performances for Leverkusen. He's been watched and observed and in all his games, he's proven to present an outstanding and formidable team. He's just new in the business but yet still has set up a formidable team. I really won't be surprised if he's beckoned up on by bigger clubs to show his abilities. He's proven to be worthy to handle well any team presented to him and definitely I believe he can do well if another team is put in his care. Maybe his strategies work well for him and can still work well with another team. With Leverkusen, he's done well and he's working towards an aim for the club. He's been watched closely to see how well he'd be able to keep up with the games for the team and see how well he can uphold against their biggest threat in the Bundesliga.

First of all, Xavi is different from Xabi, Xavi is a former Barcelona manager who's currently replaced by Hansi Flick while Xabi is the manager at Bayer Leverkusen. So, please differentiate between these 2 managers Cheesy.

OFC, Vincent Kompany joining Bayern Munich makes the atmosphere in the Bundesliga even more interesting to look forward to next season. TBH, right now I'm still skeptical about his future journey, Kompany's first match will be in the end of July against Duren, that's where we can see how Kompany can brought Bayern Munich.
I'm sure it was a writing error, especially on the keyboard where the letters b and v are side by side.  Grin

Bayern Munich tried their luck when they appointed Vincent Kompany as their new coach to replace Thomas Tuchel. However, this actually gave rise to mixed responses, especially responses that doubted Vincent Kompany. The reason is that in his previous team his performance was not very satisfactory and he couldn't even save his team from the relegation zone.
IN this season with Burnley he only recorded 7 wins, 9 draws and 26 defeats from a total of 42 times he led Burnley's matches. So it was very natural that he had many doubts when he was appointed by Bayern Munich as coach.

Xabi Alonso has given Leverkusen his best this season. The reason is that Xabi is just his first in the main league, and is an interesting challenge for the big clubs in the German league. And Liverkusen broke Bayern Munich's record of winning the Bundesliga for several seasons.
And Xabi Alonso also still has the opportunity to continue his performance like that next season with Leverkusen. Although the task will be much tougher for Xabi Alonso because next season Leverkusen will compete in the Champions League, where the competition is always much fiercer than the European League he faces this season. But I am also quite impressed with what Xabi Alonso has done this season for the Leverkusen team with a new record for themselves.

When I heard the news of his appointment from Burnley, I thought it was a joke until I verify that is was true. Since then, I have been struggling to understand why they have to hire a manager that that took Burnley to relegation to manage a tope team like Bayern Munic that just had a disastrous season without any trophy. There is the expectation from Bayern Munic to fight for their place at the German Bundesliga next season, hiring of Kompany  does not seem they are preparing to do that. At least judging by the available records, there is nothing much to show for Kompany as a coach both at Anderlecht and at Burnley, the two teams he has coached. I was expecting them to hire a coach that plays more of attacking football than defense. I just hope I'm proven wrong when next season finally comes.
This is quite strange for me because it may be unusual with situations like this about Bayern Munich hiring the services of a coach who has not so much experience and great achievements in the history of football, we know Bayer Munich is very good and they have many achievements during their existence, of course this is like something strange and in question, why and why Vincent Komapny is the choice to lead a squad as big as Bayer Munich.

Not to attack or defend, in my opinion it must be balanced in a strategy, sorry if it's not what you mean, but being a coach needs to see the state of the squad and see how it can attack and defend even though he previously served as a defender, but as a coach can't see from there, maybe he can see the right defense with the existing abilities, I really doubt this new coach for Bayern Munich, but hopefully I'm also wrong and Vincent can make Bayer Munich much better this season.

A lot of people believe that even though he was unable to bring in good results with Burnley, as the squad of Bayern Munich is far better compared to Burnley, they believe he will be able to bring in good results. I highly doubt that. If someone has finished in the relegation zone with a club, I highly doubt that he will be able to do better, with a club that has a really good level of players. And don’t forget, Bayern Munich is actually aiming to win the Bundesliga title next season. I wonder how this all makes sense. Since the last 11 years, they have not lost the Bundesliga title. And now as they have lost the Bundesliga title finally, they have brought in a coach who has finished the relegation zone with his current team, to win the Bundesliga title again.

Personally, I'm not sure because we all know that Kompany doesn't have many accomplishments that can be trusted to lead Munich as head coach,
but Munich may have its own views about Kompany's ability to manage Munich next season as head coach,
I personal think that Bayern Munich hasnt got that much options for getting a new Coach or lets say that nobody wants to be there at the moment.
We will see what Kompany maybe can do in Munich and if it will be enough for gettin the team back on a good track.
About Kane and the title all is again open for the next season , it would be nice for him to get one.

According to report from Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich is set to pay Vincent Kompany a very handsome salary to be the club’s head coach.

In fact, Bayern Munich is paying Kompany more than it paid either Hansi Flick or Julian Nagelsmann
https://www.bavarianfootballworks.com/2024/6/1/24168907/bayern-munich-vincent-kompany-hansi-flick-and-julian-nagelsmann-fc-barcelona-transfer-rumors

It actually surprised me given that Kompany had no notable achievements in his career but bayern was not even try to hold it by giving him very big salary to him. He also has a far smaller compensation gap than Tuchel. I believe Bayern is placing a high value on this player as a new addition to the team. It appears that Bayern's authorities saw something that no other coach who coached Bayern before him did. It genuinely surprises me to see this happen. I am sure that many are beginning to wonder if Bayern is going for something unforeseen.

I was frequently witnessing good coaches receiving good salaries but this is not even imagined by me caused by it was kompany, bayern could get a better name than that. I think even a stupid staff in management can come with a better name than kompany to be bayern's coach. It makes me wonder if kompany is a good coach who deserves such a high wage. Well, congratulations on his appointment as the new head coach of Bayern Munich.

Only they can see Kompany's potential next season as the new head coach for Munich, I don't know what makes them confident in Kompany, but there's no harm in seeing the results next season, we also won't know how quickly Kompany adapts. The current Munich players or the new Munich players who will be recruited in the future, I think all Munich fans hope that Kompany proves that he can bring Munich to be better next season, for example in the title race in the Bundesliga or other big competitions.

Personally, I'm not sure because we all know that Kompany doesn't have many accomplishments that can be trusted to lead Munich as head coach, but Munich may have its own views about Kompany's ability to manage Munich next season as head coach, I think too It seems that the Munich management is not stupid and wants to waste money, let alone pay Kompany a high salary, but they don't get reciprocity that meets expectations. I think another thing is that Kane hopefully won't fail again in the hunt next season just because the Munich management made a mistake in recruiting the head coach. like Kompany.  Grin

Xabi Alonso has given Leverkusen his best this season. The reason is that Xabi is just his first in the main league, and is an interesting challenge for the big clubs in the German league. And Liverkusen broke Bayern Munich's record of winning the Bundesliga for several seasons.
He transformed Leverkusen into a powerhouse in a year. His intelligence makes him a natural leader. World's best coach? I won't say anything, but he's on that route. Destroying Bayern Munich? Huge. Nobody's done that in years. It demonstrates Leverkusen's guts, competence, and hunger. With Xabi in charge, they'll improve. Champions League contenders.

Leverkusen must be smart. Need reinforcements. Bring in top talent to strengthen the team. The vision and tactical skill of Xabi? Sky's the limit. This is just the start. Leverkusen is back and staying.

Club like Bayern Munich having coach like Kompany is currently talk of the soccer world with no one were expecting anything related to this specially after having Burnley is relegated, and they are now having to give their best for coming back into Premier League which is never been easy job but Kompany is now having dream job which is going to be had just simple way out for him with in case of having any problems he is going to be first coach to be sacked in coming season but if we are going to have him on his best then surely this is going to be had the biggest achievement for the Bayern Munich which is rejected by many coaches due to their behaviour about their recent coaches.
Kompany is having good experience of playing in team like Manchester City with Pepe Guardiola is having good time with him but now how is he going to handle this giant club in Champions League this is the biggest concern so with him now we have to check Harry Kane who join this club for winning trophies is his luck going to help him, or he is going to have things like he was having at the Tottenham.
Kompany was a good enough player we know that. And probably no one will argue with this. He has been with an experienced coach like Guardiola for a long time. However, Kompany is not yet experienced as a coach. At the same time, Burnley have fallen into the relegation zone this season. Still, why Bayern Munich management hired Kompany as their coach is a mystery.

Burnley does not have many star players, and the squad was also weak. So Kompany can't be blamed entirely for Burnley's downfall. However, Bayern Munich has a strong squad. There are a lot of talented players. So Kompany might do well with Bayern Munich.
I have no doubt about him being a good player. Maybe even a great player. But I have a lot of doubt about him being a good coach. Bayern Munich could definitely have gone for a better coach. They could have gotten someone who is more experienced and has proved himself in the past. But instead, they decided to choose a coach that does not have much experience. At the same time, his experience of managing any big club is next to zero. I believe he's not going to bring in great results. No way he is going to be able to win the Bundesliga title this season. I actually see them losing the Bundesliga title again to Leverkusen. No hard feelings for Kompany, but he is just not ready to manage a club like this. And Bayern Munich should definitely forget about the Champions League trophy.

I agree with you. Kompany has not yet been able to prove his ability. Kompany is not experienced enough as a coach. My only thing is, even Burnley team after staying in the Religlation Zone this season, why did Bayern Munich Management decided to give the responsibility to Kompany of big clubs like Bayern Munich? This question I can't find any answers.

However, since Bayern Munich Management has made such a decision, we can only pray for Munich as the best wishes to be successful with Kompany Bayern Munich next season.

Regarding the Coach, to be honest I myself just heard about Vincent Kompany, I don't know what makes Bayer Munich want to use his services, so far maybe many other coaches are the choice to train the Bayer Munich squad, this is my question now, is it true as you said that maybe they are playing gambling by hiring Vincent Kompany because they don't have experience, or maybe they know something that we can't know so they use his services for next season.
