There are a number of players that can really be as impactful as him even though it just would take a while to settle in but he's still an impactful legend in himself. The same scenario apply to other long stayed players at a team, their presence just has to be felt consistently again. Most of these players also have built in skills set and they're good at their position and performance on the field of play. It's even pretty much advisable that they play the captain role as it's believed that their understand certainly all nooks and crannies of the team they're in.

All chances can still happen especially for now actually Gladbach is also still quite able to surprise even though they are not too seen in this regard.
