Dortmund at the very beginning starts to lose points in not the most difficult matches, but the reason is rather the same, they sell a lot of important players in the offseason and at the beginning of the new season they have a hard time. Bayern should take advantage of this, and as we can see, Bayer also looks very confident, if nothing changes, it looks like Bayer may become Bayern's main competitor for the championship, although it's probably too early to talk about this.

They may be psychologically shattered because they missed the championship in the last game last season. They need professional help to overcome this. Cheesy

Dortmund sell players every year and their squad naturally weakens. After selling Haland to Manchester City, they couldn't find a good striker. They sold Bellingham to Real Madrid, but it seems they haven't made a good replacement for him either. If they don't make good signings to replace the players they sold, they will undoubtedly become a worse team. This season I think they will be behind Leipzig.

Dortmund doesn't look like a team that's ready for the season I mean they aren't serious in their games even when they managed to win 1:0 against FC Cologne in their previous match, they managed to get 2 shots on goal and the goal came around 80+ minutes when they least expected it. I think the Dortmund team are not ready to be champions yet because they can't continue to struggle when they face small this shows that they can't stand to play big opponents that will definitely challenge them in the league.

I think the coach needs to go back to the drawing board to know how to make proper use of the stars in his team because with this poor performance the them will end up not finishing in the top 4 and that may affect other good players from having interest to sign for the team.

Everything is the same as in previous seasons. The instability of Dortmund is their hallmark, so I almost never bet on them to win until I see a solid performance for several games.
It is obvious that now their games should be bypassed.
I was impressed with the start of Union - it seems that they will at least try to repeat the success of the previous season.

The instability at Borussia Dortmund is caused by the club's management policies and style of management if you ask me and I think it would be great lesson to them if Borussia Dortmund can be relegated this season which o don't think is ever gonna happen because of the kind of league they're playing in.
The decision to sell their best players every summer is the reason why they've never stopped Bayern Munich from winning the league for more than a decade ago. Even against a club like Bochum they still couldn't find a win

Dortmund really put in a very bad performance and the draw was completely fair. As you say, they will never be able to play for the first place in the Bundesliga with such a motivation, and they proved last year that they don't want to win the title either. There's no other way to describe the handing over of the title fight over the last few weeks in the last season.

To be honest, didn't watch this game. but if I refer to their two matches including against Bochum, it seems that Edin Terzic's squad have yet to find their rhythm. I mean, the strong bond between the players has not been solid. so, Chemistry between players has not yet formed solid. because after all, Bellingham's departure at least affected the team's performance.

Referring to the statistics of the match, even though Dortmund controlled the game, in terms of opportunities, the home team had more opportunities. although it looks like Bochum is playing more pragmatically, they are good enough to offset the game from the opposing team. even the goals created by Dortmund were not scored by their strikers, an unsatisfactory result for BVB supporters. well, it looks like Terzic is trying to rotate some of his players, because he didn't lower his starting eleven to become the main starter. well, I'm not surprised when referring to last week's match, when Dortmund were only able to narrowly win against Koln. next, Edin Terzic must really focus on improving his squad. next week, there is no reason for them to underperform.

Unfortunately top teams in Bundesliga like Dortmund and Leipzig miss a lot of easy opportunities then struggle at the end to pass Bayern Munich although the latter team may miss many points. No team can beat Bayern in ranking while they miss points like that..
Hoffenheim and Wolfsburg made comeback in their games after being late by two and one goal difference. I didn't expect Hoffenheim to win after seeing it late with 2 goals to 0!

I kind of expected it to be draw when Bochum scored the goal. Bochum had some good chances despite them being on less possession. Dortmund were also poor in finding chances and finishing them as well.

Were they ever? They were so close in the last season but in just one last match when things mattered the most they choked. They have tendency to choke in matches so I have now very less expectations from them.

They need a star player like Bellingham or Haaland back again which can perform exceptionally for them otherwise expect performances like this much often in this season from Dortmund.
